I hate the working title of the piece I didn't finish during NaNoWriMo. Will not share at this time!

Hey, Sat=283 wds. 283+254=537 for now. 250 is my minimum. I work too many days--not hours, just days--for my to do much more. Though I'm finding I can write 250 in about 20 minutes.Anyone else writing by hand?
Way to Go Angie, excellent word count.
I do write by hand when I can't get to the computer. I have tons of notebooks with handwritten pages for Sons of Avalon Merlin's Prophecy. It's fun to go back and read the first drafts.

Glad to know. Have you posted any of "Sons of Avalon.."?
You don't happen to be an evil dude with weird hair that always wears a black cloak and is trying to kill people are you?
No, I'm Angie, a middle-aged woman. Is that what you're asking GreenDaisy BlackStem? By the way, I like your picture much better than mine.
Thanks for asking, Dee. Yes, Tuesday, the 14th, I wrote 325 words (hand counted-ha!) and + 297 (on Wed.) That makes 622 plus previous 537. My total is now 1159 words so far since last Friday.
Now I'll add 297 words which will make it 1256 words since last week. But my character has talked too much. She's in a very "whiny" place right now. I might have to switch to a different story or just knock her out all together for a while. Literally. Thanks Dee for the encouragement.
1256 words last week is outstanding. I am very proud of you!
I fully understand what you mean about a whiny character. I hate it when they do that :]

Glad you understand. Right now she's going to whine about something different, but ti's ok if she whines about this. I'm writing an apocalyptic piece of fiction. My characters are stuck on a fleet of boats, and Bev, this particular character, always hated the sea. That's why she moved to the plains....Anyway, thanks. Am enjoying reading the threads.
Gosh, I'm having a hard time committing in this second week. I haven't written a g*d&(n thing. The block is hard; it's hard for me to turn off work and home for even 250 words (or 100).
Same Angie. I hope you're able to get over it. :D
Phoenix-like, I wrote 840 words yesterday. Both of my parents have fallen in the last two months (my Dad's resulting in a long hospital stay), and I haven't had the energy or the concentration skills to write a thing.
Hey Angie,
Excellent word count, especially considering your circumstances. Wishing you wonderful things for the rest of the summer :]
Sending your parents healing thoughts :]

Thanks so much Dee. I hope you enjoyed your month "in the spotlight." I don't keep up with all the posts but I saw the Harry Potter movie discussion. Did you make it to the theater yet? I thought it was disappointing when you've read the books but still a good movie.
Morning Angie,
Yes, I did get to see Harry Potter. I liked it, but it was not my favorite of all the movies. Seemed a little rushed, but I had just finished reading the Harry Potter series before seeing the movie.
Not sure if that was a good or bad thing. I kept trying to remember what was in the book that was not in the movie. I think I will try to see it a second time, just to enjoy the movie and not compare it to the book.
Love the actors and the special effects were outstanding. I cried and laughed a lot during the movie. How about you? Which of the movies was your favorite?

Never answered Dee. My favorite movie is "Prisoner of Azkaban" or "Order of the Phoenix." Damn it, just can't decide.
Hey, NaNo check in. Have gone slowly because of some work obligations, but am at 7,500 words now. And I have a plot in mind!
Hey, am now at 21,000 + words. Have nothing else to do for the next few days, so the sky's the limit!
