I loved the epilogue! Especially how you saw Travis grow as a character and saw where he ended up in life. Pretty awesome Im not going to lie.

I had the same thoughts as Tanaya; you were able to see Travis really grow up and out of his insecurities and anger issues.
The Prologue goes a long way to explaining Travis' issues. Reading it and the Epilogue made rereading the whole story worth it. I did feel that at times it didn't have enough of Travis' point of review and was still Abby's story. But even with all that, I truely loved the book. I hope she writes more on the Maddox brothers as they all seem to be great characters.
I thought the very same thing !!! I would have loved that part of the story after they got married !!!

I'm really excited for that! I'd love to read more about the Maddox brothers ; )
i can't wait to get into the stories about the T Maddox brothers :) they seem like they'd have great stories to talk through
I agree Kat about not having enough of Travis' point of review and that it was still Abby's story. There were times when I thought I had already got that or presumed Travis' thoughts/feelings based on Abbys story. I felt there could have been more depth to Travis' experiences in the book. But the epilogue definitely wrapped it up nicely and made reading it again much more fulfilling.
Reminded me a bit of the type of Epilogue in Perfect Chemistry, Rules of Attraction and Chains reactions... But it was a great Epilogue ! Of course I still want to read more about these two but I'm happy they found their true HAE !I know Jamie Mcguire has a paranormal novel coming next, but I do hope we will get Trent's story very soon too !
I think she could have released the Prologue and Epilogue as a novella and been done with it.. we really didn't need the whole rest of the story from Travis' POV.. we didn't learn anything new really except that he blacks out a lot when he drinks and doesnt remember anything.. what fun is that?! I do want to read about the brothers though!
The epilogue was by far the best part. I could have skipped the book and went right to the epilogue. I can agree with other posters that it did leave me wanting more.... Maybe a third book

I did love both books, and yes the epilogue just brought the story together. Amazing.
Hayley wrote: "I think she could have released the Prologue and Epilogue as a novella and been done with it.. we really didn't need the whole rest of the story from Travis' POV.. we didn't learn anything new real..."I definitely agree with this. In fact, I told my sister that the best parts were the Prologue and Epilogue and the rest wasn't very good because you already know what was going to happen and it didn't tell much into his side.
I'm getting off topic, I loved the epilogue and would've really loved to read how he got THERE and their relationship after Beautiful Disaster.
What can i say? i love it and all but i admit I NEED MORE OF TRAVIS AND ABBEY! :) im addicted to them!
I hated the epilogue .... It rushed into a description of their future which could easily have been another book! I felt cheated that we got such a brief insight into Travis and Abbey's future
Loved the epilogue... wait, do I smell a 3rd book? Yep, it's definitely the smell of a new book. Things got waaaaay more interested now that we know Travis is an fbi agent. hot hot hot. And btw, they're adults now, like really mature so dear Jamie, we want to know what happens in the bedroom. All that work stress and stuff.. :p

Honestly, it was the saving grace for the book to me. The last chapter and especially the epilogue made it worth while. She said there won't be a third book for Abby and Travis. I loved the epilogue, only a couple of things I wanted to know were how old the twins were and if Toto was still alive. I hoped that he'd say the dog jumped on his leg or something. It was good though, I was happy with it. I was also happy to hear America and Sheply were stil together.I think we'll hear more about about them through the brothers' story.
I really did love the Epilogue and Prologue. They were some of the best, but I really liked reading his perspective because I got to see where he went all the times that Abby and he weren't together. I really enjoyed that, it basically gave us all sides of the story. The ending was amazeballs though, it wrapped up everything for me, I liked how their life was together. I did love these books.
I agree to... love the Epilogue cause u can finally see him grown up to be a real family man.. love it.
I loved the epilogue. It was the best part of the whole story, although I did like the book quite a lot.
the epilogue was by far the best part of the book, i would love to see a book on the 11 years. i would really love to see a book on shep and America.

As for the degree part, lots of people get a bachelors but end up working in a completely different field. His brother "worked" in "advertising" so it was natural after graduation the older brother help out the little. I guess she never googled him or maybe she did but the agency already thought of snooping spouses and created a fake page.
IDK just a few theories.

I understand that Travis couldn't share with Abby on many cases and I'm sure she would be very understanding in that respect. But to think her husband is going one place every day when for 11 years he is going to another is hard to fathom. Abby knows Travis is a risk-taker and it obviously didn't bother her that he was a fighter because she bet on him. Then why couldn't he be an FBI agent? Did she really think Travis, always so energetic and mobile, was sitting at a desk every day creating jingles for laundry detergent?
I really loved the epilogue to. I am a huge fan of epilogues. They just seem to give you closure and peace of mind about where things are with the characters if done well, and I though this one was done very well.

Someone else that understands the ridiculousness of the epilogue! The unbelievability factor is so sky high. How can you go from one lie at work to another one at home? I know Travis is a bit psychotic but that can make even the biggest of sociopaths go crazy. It's just unsustainable. I couldn't imagine lying to those I love everyday. I would probably get PTSD from it all. But his ENTIRE life is a lie, I would be surprised if he knew what the truth was anymore.
Abby had EVERY single right to be angry. How is it private? If they are like most people work is a big part of their lives. Imagine finding out your partner lied to your face every day for 11 years about how their day was, their colleagues, conferences, work tasks, christmas parties. He would've had to make all that up. How could she ever trust him again? That would be a dealbreaker to me.
I don't get how it would've protected her either. They knew exactly who she was and what she meant to him. It wasn't a big secret they were together. If she knew, it wasn't like she was going to gun down Benny herself or anything. I just didn't see the point.
Also how did it take 11 years of being undercover to nail Benny? Was he the Houdini of criminals? He wasn't exactly all that secretive about his illegal operations. Considering Billy Queen became VP of a major bikie gang after 2 years, I just don't see all the time and resources spent on a single case.

I agree!!!!
Although i loved both books the epilogue was so unbelievable that it kinda spoiled some of my happiness at the end. He was so in love with abby that i dont get how he could lie for 11 years. Boy id be pissed after finding out my hubby lied for that damn long.
I did however like how it shows they`re still together and bout jessica and james. Oh that reminds me did anyone else make the connection that they named there kids after abbys name on her fake id lol!

Yes ! I noticed the kids names too ! lol
The Prologue and Epilogue topped it all off like a cherry on top! It made the book really worth reading since you get to see it in Trav's eyes. Pidge's perspective kind of blew me off since she sounded a moody bitch most of the time but, here, Trav's had a better way of telling the story without sounding whiny or irritating, for me. And I really really love the Epilogue since you get to see a glimpse after everything that had happened with them. It definitely wrapped it up pretty darn well.
I loved the Epilogue. It showed their future and added some excitement. I can totally see Travis doing that "job". I can't wait for the rest of the Maddox bros to have their own book.
I agree with most of the comments here the Prologue and Epilogue (along with the last chapter) made the book. The rest I felt like I read already!! PLEASE GIVE ME MORE JAMIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
