This river runs between the two territories and acts as a natural divider between the packs

Hmmm it was perhaps just luck that Connor had happened across the whole war between the packs. It was probably what kept him from going completely insane with the bloodlust that rogue wolves often had. By coming across the war he had found something to tether his thoughts to, something that his human thoughts and his wolf instincts were both curious about, which allowed the two sides to exist in a shaky peace. Of course, it was easier to be the wolf, felt more natural. Which was exactly why he forced himself to be his human form. That way he didn't feel like he was completely losing himself.

Sitting at the edge of the river, the cool dark grey stone beneath him he found himself wondering if it had been worth it. To leave his pack to become some crazy bloodthirsty creature? I mean now he found that he constantly wanted to hunt, even when he didn't have to. He felt the need for it. It was like a burning fire inside his chest and if he didn't oblige it only got stronger. That explained why sitting there he was scowling as though something disgusting had taken place in front of him. Dark eyes shifting over the racing water, Connor only hoped to be able to push away the feeling gnawing at him to kill something.

Aurora froze at the edge of the river in a blind panic. She was in one of those moods where she was paranoid, agitated and her wolf form was threatening to take over her human side at any moment. A scowl touched her face and she picked at the tight tank top she was wearing. It'd be a shame to shred another pair of clothes. Aurora shook her hair out around her in a decidedly animalistic manner and daintily stepped over the rocks which overlooked the water. She was in no mood for a swim that was for sure but it might draw her mind away from hunting and the desire to catch the next kill. Aurora grit her teeth and pushed those thoughts aside as she returned back to the alcove of trees, there she dropped to sit on the leaf strewn ground.

It felt much safer there, not exactly hidden but with the shadows of the trees around her she felt safer more secure. With a sigh she leant back against a particularly sturdy looking tree and picked at a hole in her jeans. Well at least they were fashionably ripped already she thought picking at a loose thread as her hazel eyes flickered over the tumbling river before her. Aurora turned her head to the North and took a deep breath. There were always scents on the breeze, like footprints of who had been here recently. Who had brushed against a tree or who belonged to which pack. Aurora had had a few run ins with both the silvermoons and the shadowfields since her own moonspire pack disbanded. The wolves of the opposing clans had been unruly, down right rude and incredibly temperamental. She rubbed the corner of her mouth where a near invisible scar ran. After a moment Aurora shrugged, there was nothing out of the ordinary hanging in the air. A few of the other packs might have passed through earlier but it was clear now.

She sighed and ever so slightly turned her head, only to stiffen as she caught a whiff of something that wasn't entirely right. There was someone else here. Her eyes hardened like cut glass and she got to her feet in one fluid movement. Aurora's first instinct was always to flee, to keep herself out of trouble. But she had to admit, part of her was curious as to who else resided here. It wasn't a scent she had registered before.

Dressed in a pair of jeans, a white button down shirt that was left open seeing as it was still slightly wet, Connor was instantly alert to the scent of another wolf. She didn't smell like either of the packs, which meant she was a rouge. Just like him. And just like him that meant she would be on alert. His only worry now was whether or not she was as in control as he was. From what he could tell by the fact she hadn't come tearing in his direction to rip him apart, he assumed she was fairly in control. No doubt had she been hostile she would've attacked already. His own inner wolf was clawing at the surface to escape. To lash out and go on a killing spree.

It took quite a bit of self control to keep that side of him from surfacing. To distract his mind from the blood lust, Connor stood and headed over in the direction of the female rogue's scent. His feet hit the rocky ground around the earth with quiet padding and relying mainly on his hearing and his sense of smell he stopped when he was about five feet away from her. The sound of her somewhat panicked breath was another curious indication to him. Why would she- oh right. He was rouge too.

Holding up his hands in a gesture of surrender a slow smile spread across his features. "Don't fear me. I won't hurt you. At least not right this moment anyway." There was a bit of rogue humor there. After all it was known that rogues could be friendly one moment and ripping out your larynx the next. That was what came with the whole 'no-longer-part-of-a-pack-so-now-you're-going-crazy' thing that just seemed to happen. It was just part of life.

Aurora moved her head from side to side in a sharp movement as she tried to locate the other presence between the trees. It didn't take her long to realise that the other wolf was actually heading in her direction. She set her hazel gaze on the water as it went rushing past and it was only when a voice sounded near her that she realised the other wild was now well within her reach. Aurora's lips curved into a smirk at his words and she looked to see a dark haired guy. Her eyes traced his features in an almost hungry manner, but that was usually the look she gave everyone so he was no one special.

"Oh I'm not scared." Aurora assured him as a feral smile curved her lips, her eyes traced the skyline for a moment and then she looked back to him. "Bit late to be traversing the woods isn't it? What with this marriage war going on....someone might accidentally attack you." She took a step towards him a feral grin touching her features and she sauntered across the space. Aurora cocked her head to one side and really looked at him, he was cute if a little rough around the edges but most of the rogues were. Her tongue flicked over her lips and she grinned at him. "What brings you to the the river? You weren't following me were you?" She arched on eyebrow and looked up at him.

Feral. Definitely not tame. She's been alone for long enough that the wolf is present even in her human skin. Alert eyes, tense stance, provocative smile. All added up to one thing. Rogue wolf. Still.....she wouldn't be much of a match against him if she wanted to fight. Her wolf form would still be smaller, she'd probably be more careless with her fighting. After all he'd only been rogue for a couple months? Maybe a year? It was hard to tell.....but she seemed very comfortable in being rogue. No doubt she was used to running alone, being on the lam.

Shrugging his shoulders he smiled, "Someone might accidentally attack me." It wasn't a question, it was a confirmation of her previous claim. He knew the danger, trouble was he couldn't seem to bring himself to care about it. At least not that much, anyway. Oh well. That was just life, right? "Why would I be following a wolf I didn't even know existed?" Connor proposed, effectively answering her inquiry with a question. There was no way she was going to worm out an answer from him. He had more brains than that. She wanted answers, she would have to work for them. Looking her up and down, she looked pretty. In a wild, 'I-will-rip-you-apart' sort of way.

Aurora pushed her dark hair away from her face and half shrugged her shoulders. Her eyes were filled with a touch of curiosity as she looked over the other wolf, but the smile remained on her lips as her almost default expression. Aurora was pleased, however that her comment received a smile from the guy and she smirked, looking up at him from under her dark lashes. She wondered if he actually belonged to a pack, there was no scent stuck to him like that of the major packs. Maybe a small rogue group she wondered, that thought gave her a vague feeling of irritation, clans of rogue male wolves were the worst.

Aurora chewed her lip as he confirmed her statement, "Don't worry he-wolf I'm not that accident prone." She replied, placing her hands in the back pocket of her jeans and relaxing a little in her stance. Aurora shrugged, "I've seen people do stranger things." She wet her lips and kicked at the earth by her feet. The sun was low in the sky and warm against the side of her face, she watched the way it danced over the planes of his, highlighting his cheekbones and sharpening his features. "Do you always travel alone?" Aurora asked suddenly, wanting to confirm that fact, she didn't want an ambush on her hands.

For all the control she seemed to have it was apparent that her curiosity overrode her caution when she suddenly blurted out her question of wondering if he was alone. A low chuckle echoed up out of his throat and he tilted his head slightly, his hair falling into his eyes. The overall effect paired with the smile on his face gave him a rather mischievous look. "Worried that there is a secret ambush of ninja wolves about to jump out of the river?" He teased, his tone light and tinged with sarcastic surprise.

Straightening he shrugged, "I'm a lone wolf. Just like you, I assume, anyway." Smiling at her he couldn't help but notice she seemed sort of lost, like she didn't really like being on her own. She definitely smelled like a mix of the packs, and more overwhelming her own scent. She had definitely spent quite a bit of time here. Which made him curious as to why she never moved on or left. Not that he would ever ask that. He was more content to just look at the small brunette in front of him and watch her eyes assess him, no doubt her mind trying to deem if he was a threat or not.

Aurora raised an eyebrow as she heard the rumble of a laugh in his throat, he thought she was funny how infuriating. She tilted her head to one side and once again appraised him with her eyes, his smile have him a boyish allusion but it was a little disarming and Aurora couldn't help but smile back. She smirked at his question and slowly lifted her shoulders in a shrug. "You never know around here." Aurora replied, a smile curving her lips as she moved her gaze from his face to the skyline in the distance. It was a habitual thing for her to watch the sunset and make room for the moon in the process.

She nodded in answer as he spoke of living alone, of being a lone wolf. It was a quiet somewhat peaceful existence but the words rung true it could be kind of lonely. "So you don't have a home around here? You're just passing through?" Aurora guessed, it was strange for rogues to settle down but then Aurora wouldn't have called her living accomodation settling. She'd simply shacked up in some human holiday home. It'd do for the time being anyway. Even if it meant she'd have to leave at some point.

"Ehhhh." With a shrug Connor, followed her eyes over towards the sunset. It was only a moment. That was really all he could take of watching the sky become stained with pinks, oranges, yellows, and other sunset hues. He wasn't much a sky person anyway. Preferred the ground. Besides....sunsets always reminded him of how he became a rogue in the first place. Watching them just tended to increase that sad lonely feeling that rested in the center of his chest. Naturally he didn't like to focus on that feeling, especially when his wolf was fighting to surface and rip apart the female wolf in front of him.

It was another few seconds of silence, the only sounds that of the rushing river, before Connor answered the brunette. "I'm sticking around for awhile. Learning more about this pack war....seems rather interesting to me." Shrugging his shoulders he let his eyes wander towards the forest. Towards the dark trees, bushes, the way the land contoured so greatly against the smooth rocks surrounding the river. It was odd how beautiful nature looked, and how one rarely ever took time to notice it. "I won't be running around slaughtering rougues like you though."

"So new here then?" Aurora's hazel eyes flashed in amusement as she made that summation. "You'll like it here." She mused, returning her gaze to him. "Lots of drama..oh and the humans have a habit of straying into the woods." Aurora smiled wolfishly and pushed her dark curls out of her face. This place was the perfect rest stop for rogue wolves. She nodded in agreement as he spoke of the war. "Interesting would be the word." Aurora murmured. "You routing for a side yet?" She grinned, picking a small round stone up from the ground and rolling it between her palms. "I was looking to place bets on how long this civil marriage lark will last." Aurora smirked, tossing the stone in the air and catching it again.

She watched him carefully, taking in his stance and the way his eyes moved over the forest and the river as he spoke. His statement about slaughtering rogues made her laugh though. "You say that like you'd actually be able to catch me." She replied with a flirtatious smile stepping towards him. "Don't worry wolf boy you won't hurt me. Us free running she wolves are made of strong stuff."

[since I don't want to keep you trapped in this roleplay for the next four days....i'ma do a hasty crappy exit xD]

Connor opened his lips as though to say something but instead a treamor seemed to ripple through his body and his eyes flashed with irritation. Of course his body would reach it's limits now.....oh well. He'd just have to say his farewells to the little brunette. Smiling at her in an almost forced sort of way he laughed, "You'll have to wait to hear my opinions." Since she was within arm's reach he blew a kiss in her direction, obviously being sarcastic, before turning and walking off towards the trees. Not really walking so much as power walking. He wanted to make sure he was somewhere safe when he had to shift.

"Well you better not keep me waiting too long he-wolf, us girls are curious creatures." She retorted with a dangerous flash of her dark eyes. Aurora raised an eyebrow as he blew a kiss in her direction but she broke into gentle laughter and watched as his figure retreated into the trees. She turned her back on the space where he had disappeared and smoothing down her clothes she took a different path through the trees, heading towards the city.

Kaiden sat on the rocks by the river in between the pack lands bored out of his mind. Normally he'd be out partying or doing something fun and exciting. Maybe even dangerous. But instead here he was at the river because Will had insisted in meeting him here. And yet Will wasn't here. He was late. Which wasn't a surprise Will is always late. The again so is he. He was late getting here. Whats surprising though is that Will is later than him. High side and picked up some rocks. With a flick of his wrist he sent a couple skidding across the river.

Emilia was mindlessly stumbling around. Lily had a mate. She had found her true mate. Emilia was at a lost for words, or for thoughts, it was hard for her to accept. But she would do it, this wasn't just some random guy, it was her mate. Emilia sighed, she was happy for Lily, oddly jealous even. She had always found mates interesting, her parents weren't mate and their relationship turned out disastrous. A few rocks flew across her vision, slightly too close for comfort.

Kaiden stopped skipping rocks when he noticed the girl on the other side of the river. He'd almost hit her a few times now that he thought about it. It was obvious that she was silvermoon pack he could smell that scent on her. He was also aware of his wolf pacing restlessly in his head. He ignored it consider his wolf always seemed restless these days.

Emilia picked up the rock closest to her, and lobed it over at him. It hit the tree right next to his face, which is exactly what she had been aiming for. It was a clear warning, the next rock that came close to her would result in a hit instead of an intended miss next time. She scented the air...Shadowfield...great. Well at least he wasn't a rogue.

Kaiden looked at the rock that she had throw that was now on the ground. It was clearly a warning. One he was debating on heading or not. "That wasn't very nice you know!"He called to her. He skipped another rock across the lake this one nowhere near her. She was obviously a Silvermoon. The pack that was suppose to be his packs enemy or more or less was. The packs where combining. Turns out the two alpha's arrange marriage wouldn't be a disaster they where true mates.

"It wasn't meant to be nice..." She called back, his voice was heavenly. She frowned, no, nope, thoughts like that needed to be locked down. She saw him skip another rock, it wasn't near her this time...that was surprising. She crossed the path to the other side of the river, it was the faster way to get back home anyways. Her wolf was starting to act up, wanting her to move closer to the shadow wolf. Emilia fought the feeling though, and turned away from him. It wasn't a good thing to turn your back to the enemy, but the Shadowfield pack wasn't their enemy anymore.

He laughed. He watched her cross the path to the other side of the river and walk away from him. Not that she'd get away that easily. He walked quickly and quietly up behind her. When he got within an inch from her he leaned down and whispered in her ear. "Running away and we haven't even met?"He asked her with a chuckle. He stepped away before she could hit him like she probably wanted to. His wolf on the other hand growled at the little bit of distance he put between them. Again he ignored it.

Emilia spun around, flashing her canines at him, "Didn't your alpha ever teach you not to sneak up on someone one?" Her wolf shuttered in excitement, Emilia just assumed her wolf was excited to punch him in the face. But her wolf snarled at her...her wolf snarled at her? What the hell? She shook the anger and confusion from her face and replaced it a weak smile. Sighing he forced herself to be nice, "Emilia. Now we've met, so I can leave."

He chuckled. She was cute when she was mad. "No."he replied. "I was never fought that quite the opposite actually. I'm Kaiden."he told her. "Are you always this rude?"he asked. His wolf was whining wanting to get closer to the she wolf but he ignored him.

She arched a brow at him, "Rude? I'm merely looking out for my well being. Here I am, a female, alone in the woods with a rival male werewolf...it's a rather unfair advantage don't you think?" Emilia wasn't serious of course, she could handle herself just fine in a fight. But he didn't need to know that. Kaiden. She liked that name, a lot actually. By the way her wolf was purring like a cat, she amused her wolf liked it too. She mentally scowled her wolf, but gave him a friendly smile, "It's nice to meet you, Kai."

"Rival? The packs are merging or did you forget?"He questioned. "I couldn't attack you if I wanted to."Which he didn't but he wasn't going to say that. His wolf was purring like a fricken kitten with catnip. It was really starting to annoy him. He crossed his arms. "Now why would it be an unfair advantage?"He questioned. "Where both werewolves so how would it be unfair?"He knew her meant because she was a girl. Not that she was serious. She could probably fight pretty well. Raising an eyebrow her questioned. "Kai?"

"No, I didn't forget. I was indirectly making sure that you didn't forget. It might have been an unfair advantage not because I am a girl, but because I am a healer. Generally, healers aren't well trained in battle, because it's our job to heal people, not kill them." She crossed her arms as well, an amused expression passing over her face. Her wolf was pleased that Emilia was being nicer to him, why would she even care? "Yes, Kai...I like it better. Kaiden makes you seem so...serious and stuffy. Kai would suit you better I think."

He leaned back against a near tree and listened to her talk. "Oh I know what a healers job is. My best friends little sister is a healer."He said. His wolf on the other hand was growling at him. He wasn't being mean or anything but he was treating her like every other girl he'd been with and for some reason his wolf didn't like it. Of course he ignored his wolf because what his wolf wanted at this moment in time didn't matter. He laughed out loud. "Serious and stuffy are the complete opposite of what I am actually."

"That's good, from what I've heard Shadowfield doesn't have very many healers. It's a shame really, healers are more important than most packs know." Her voice was sad, she hated being a healer, she was too strong to be a healer. But that's what her pack needed her to be, so she was. Her eyes traveled up to meet his, she couldn't believe how good looking he was. Her wolf howled in approval and Emilia forced herself not to drool, "I'm glad that you aren't serious or stuffy...that would be sad." Really? Did those words really just come out of her mouth? She couldn't have sounded more like a loser if she had tried.

"The pack doesn't have many healers because most of us don't think we need them."He left out the part about him being one of them. Why would a pack need a pack of healers unless you were weak. If your strong you shouldn't get hurt at least not enough to need a ton of healers around. Having good sentinels, hunter, and scouts where more important in his opinion. All of this he kept to himself though. He smirked. "It would be very sad."He said just to humor her.

Emilia narrowed her eyes, her voice became dangerously low, "Oh, I see, you're one of those. The type of wolf who feels that with brute strength the use of healers isn't necessary. Well allow me to enlighten you caveman," She stepped closer to him, they were barely inches apart, "Did you know that the Shadowfield pack has had the most total casualties since our rivalry has began? And out of those casualties over 80% of them were do to the lack of healers? Healers are important whether you chose to believe so or not! Take me for example, I'm not an ordinary healer, in fact, I could probably kick your ass. But you know the real difference? After our fight I would be able to heal myself, while you could potentially bleed out because you are too good to be healed!" She poked his chest, when she said the word you.

He answered her coolly. "Yes your right I am one of those wolves as you say. But first off I am not nor will I ever be a caveman secondly no I wouldn't know that I don't keep track that's not my job and thirdly I highly doubt you could kick my ass as you say. I have beta blood. I come from a long line of beta's Emilia so weather your an ordinary healer or not I don't believe you could kick my ass."He said wrapping his fingers around her wrist when she poked him. His wolf was practically purring at the contact. And he now knew why his wolf was going crazy ever since she first appeared here. When he wrapped his fingers around his wrist he felt sparks flit through his entire self. That itself could only mean one thing. She was his mate. He grinned. "Glad to clear this up for you mate."He said pulling her against his chest.

"Glad to clear this up for you mate" Emilia's eyes widened in shock, this couldn't be happening. She couldn't have a mate...she didn't want a mate. When he pulled her to chest sparks erupted through her body, with a mixture of fear. She used all of her strength to try to push him away, he barely budged. She was about to have a panic attack, her breathing increased as did her heart rate. Tears were threatening to spill from her eyes...she ground her teeth she would not cry! She forced her body to relax, she wasn't that far from Silvermoon territory. When she got the chance she could make a run for it.

"You done trying to push me away."He asked when she stopped pushing at him. He hadn't moved an inch and hadn't planned to. He could feel her heart beat increase against him as well as her breathing. He titled his head to the side wondering what she was thinking. He couldn't believe he had a mate. He never really thought about it and well he didn't know how to react to that. His wolf was giddy jumping around.

"No." Emilia murmured quietly, her voice was barely about a whisper, "You should want me to push you away...I'm not good for you." Flash backs of her mom and dad fighting popped in her head. The tears she heard her mother cry every night before she died played in her mind. "I'm sorry you got stuck with me as a mate, you should do yourself a favor and reject me..." Her wolf whimpered at the thought of being rejected, and tried to force Emilia to take the suggestion back. But she couldn't, Kai deserved more than she could give.

If Kaiden hadn't been a werewolf he wouldn't have heard what she said. But since he was he had no problem hearing it. He raised and eyebrow at her. "Your not good enough for me?"He questioned. "Yeah I'm pretty sure its the other way around in...well pretty much everything you just said."He told her. His wolf was on panic mode at her words. He didn't like the thought of her leaving not one bit and if he was being honest with himself(which he was and wasn't) he didn't like the thought either.

"So...we're rejecting each other...?" Emilia started to panic, she didn't want to reject him, or for him to reject her. Her wolf was going crazy, had Emilia been the enemy her wolf probably would have tried to kill her. But maybe it was for the best...it really wasn't but they didn't even get along. They were pretty much trying to beat each other before they found out they were mates. Emilia bit her lip, she was nervous, she didn't want to lose him. That scared her more than anything.

His eyes widened in shock. "No! That's not what I meant at all."He told her. If she hadn't been so close to him already he would have pulled her closer. As it was he didn't understand how they could go from trying to best each other to this. He knew it was because they where mates though. His wolf was trying to tear free at what Emilia had said but he wouldn't let it. Now was not the time to lose control over his wolf.

"Oh...good...it was a stupid suggestion, I shouldn't have even brought it up." Emilia was having a hard time breathing. Kaiden may not have been able to pull her closer, but he was squeezing her tighter. Had she been a human, he would have crushed her. "Um...I can't breath..." She finally gasped out, she felt like she was about to pass out.

He nodded in agreement. "Your right it was a stupid suggestion."He said. "Oh sorry."He said loosening his hold on her. He hadn't even realized he had been holding her tighter until she said something. It was probably a natural reaction to her early words about rejection and crap.

Emilia bit her lower lip, she had noticed that he seemed to have no plans of letting her go. Though he had loosened his tight hold on her, he still didn't let her go. It felt like it should have been awkward...yet it wasn't, not in the least bit. It felt normal, natural even for his arms to be around her. Her wolf approved wholeheartedly, wanting noting more than to mark Kaiden right then and there. Emilia fought a blush...she did not blush, but the thoughts her wolf was pushing into her mind was close to making her. "So...are you afraid I'm going to run away or something?" She attempted to make him laugh, he didn't need to know that it had been her plan to originally...now she wasn't so sure.

His gaze lowered to her lip when she bit it. His wolf wanted him to kiss her. Heck he wanted to too but she barely knew him. He shook it up and looked back up at her. He may have loosened his hold on her but he had no plans on letting her go. Not until he knew she wasn't going to bolt. And well she had looked like that was exactly what she wanted to do. For once during this whole time since she first appeared his wolf agreed with him. It felt natural somehow for her to be in his arms. She fit there perfectly. Something his wolf approved of greatly. "Considering you looked like you where ready to bolt I think that's a fair assumption don't you?"She didn't look as ready to bolt as she had before but he wasn't taking any chances.

"I was..." Emilia admitted sheepishly, she saw his gaze fixated on her lips and she gulped. Did he want to kiss her as much as she wanted him too? Emilia buried her face in Kaiden's chest, not wanting him to see the blush that was slowly creeping onto her face. She had never blushed before, ever, so it was awkward for her. The sparks that had been shooting through her body, reignited sending electric shocks from her head to her toes. It wasn't uncomfortable at all, quite the opposite really, she felt herself snuggling closer to him. Her wolf was purring in pleasure.

When she buried her face in his chest he wrapped her in his arms more completely. He noticed her cheeks where pink before she got the change to completely hide it. His wolf was prancing around in his head at the close contact. "And why is that?"He asked quietly. He could feel the shocks running through his body but it felt good so he didn't mind it. Actually he liked them. He kissed her head and laid his chin on her head.

Emilia froze, should she tell him? Most people looked down on her and her parents for what they did...she hoped that he wouldn't. She took a deep breath, and slowly let it out before answering him, "I...I never believed in relationships, love, or mates. My parents weren't true mates...and their relationship was toxic. It was slowly killing them, and everyone around them..." She stopped, not knowing whether she should continue or not. "I vowed never to let myself follow in my parents' footsteps...so I guess I just panicked at first. I...I'm sorry." The last part was hard to get out, she wasn't the type to apologize often.

"Okay first of all Emilia you don't need to apologize its not your fault."He told her. "And secondly where not your parents. Okay?"He asked her. "We are true mates not two people who just decided they wanted to mate. Though I guess I should be glad they did or I wouldn't have the beautiful girl I hold in my arms right now. Now would I?" He shocked himself when he said those words. He was the sentimental type. Not at all. Then again he also wasn't the type to comfort anyone but here was doing just that. For his mate no less. But they did have something in common they both hadn't believed in mates and love. But for him he didn't really have a reason he just hadn't. Maybe because he thought the bond was exaggerated. Either way he knew he had been wrong. Dead wrong. "I'm sorry about your parents but that's not use Emilia."He told her again.

Emilia looked up at him, and kissed him on the cheek without thinking. Shocks tingled through her lips and she pulled back touching them with her hand. It was an odd feeling, but it was addictive, highly addictive. Her wolf was pushing her to continue kissing him. She giggled, when did her wolf become such a hussy? She froze, did she really just giggle? Her? She felt her face heating up once again, and she mentally scowled herself, and her wolf. "You're right, it's not us. We will be...we are different." She placed her head on his chest and listened to his heartbeat. It was the most alluring sound that she had ever heard.

He smiled down at her when she kissed him on the cheek. He laughed at her giggle and even more so when she started to blush again. "Your cute when you do that. Did you know that."He told her. It was true she was adorable. Okay she was more than adorable or cute. She was absolutely gorgeous and she was his. His wolf purred at the fact. Purred! Like a freaking kitten! "Yes we are."He whispered in her ear.

"No, I didn't...but I'm glad that you think so. I might do it more often, just for you." She smiled up at him, when he moved closer to her ear she bit her lip. Her neck and ears, it seemed were sensitive spots for her. "Yes we are." his deep velvety voice, caused her to moan, she moved herself closer to him. If that was even possible. Her wolf was trying to take over now, clawing to get out, to get to Kaiden.

He grinned. "Just for me huh?" He liked to hear that. His wolf liked the just for you part a little to much. He groaned when she moaned and nuzzled her neck. "Don't do that or I'm gonna forget about being a gentleman."He told her honestly. His wolf growled at him. He wanted out so he could take over and he wanted it now but Kaiden wasn't going to let that happen.

Emilia whimpered as he nuzzled her neck, he was only making things worse...much worse. She unknowingly tilted her head to the side to give him more access to her neck. "Please..." the word came out of her mouth, but she didn't remember saying it. She couldn't speak to take it back, to take back her begging. She wasn't even sure if she was begging for him to do it, or begging for him to stop torturing her. The one thing that she did now though, it that she couldn't handle him near her neck, it lit her skin on fire.

He groaned against her neck before pulling away. His wolf growled at him but her ignored it. His wolf wanted him to mark her as his right here and now. But he wouldn't. She deserved more. She deserved better than that. She deserved it to be perfect. Not by some river in between pack lands where any wolf from either pack or possibly a rogue could happen by. It was then that he remember that he was suppose to meet Will here. He growled at the thought of Will being here at the very moment and having seen everything. Still holding her to him he scanned the trees for any sign of Will. He didn't smell him but that didn't mean anything. Will was really good at masking his scent when he wanted.
