Soft flakes of snow fell across Gotham city, but it was not a natural snow; it was the middle of July. On top of one of the towers stood Mr. Freeze, staring down at the city with a cold glare. He turned back to the machine that was positioned at his side. It was running on high, shooting beams at the city every few seconds, turning buildings into ice. He reached out and placed a hand against the cold steel. "Soon..." he murmured to himself. "Soon Gotham city will be turned completely to ice. And then...Then I can finally take my revenge." 'Don't fret, my dear Nora.' he thought. 'Gotham city /will/ pay.'

(Sorry if I messed up a few details. It's been a while since I've seen the movie. ^ _ ^')

Mr. Freeze glanced down at the streets below as he heard a familiar-and rather unwanted-voice. "Well, if it isn't the notorious /Batman/." he called down to him, his voice cold and emotionless. He lifted his chin slightly as he stared down at the man whom he hated most. "No, I don't believe that I will stop." he answered him, voice still cold as he turned back to his machine. "At least, not until every inch of Gotham city is covered in ice."
