Viola placed her books into her locker before closing it shut with only one book left in her hands. She wasn't sure who dropped it, and didn't intend to find out anytime soon. She lightly traced her fingers around the burnt surface of the book, desperate to open it up and read what was inside. But, that just wouldn't be her, this could be somebodys private life written inside and she didn't want to peek inside rudely. Besides if she had lost her journal, or diary she wouldn't want anybody reading it. Viola sighed placing the book under her arm and pulling out an apple and sandwhich. She didn't like the fancy cafeteria food.
Fuyuki walked through the hallway, as soon as he walked past someone they either trembled with fear or ran out of the hall completely, he came across his locker which was two lockers away from Viola's. He opened it up and put his books inside aswell as his bookbag.
Viola glanced to the white haired boy from before who noted that 'she seemed different'. Once she devoured her sandwhich she held the apple in her mouth like the fancy way they did with a pig by placing an apple in it's mouth. She looked over the burnt book again so focused on it's fragile crisp edges and light brown surface. She took a bite of her apple before holding it in her other hand and placing her thumb inside the book with her other hand. It was so smooth and silk, that it made sense to her this book wasn't just a burnt book, it was an old one too.
Fuyuki took a packet of pockey out of his locker and opened it, he realized something was missing. After scanning through the contents he just put in his locker, Fuyuki came to a conclusion, it was his mothers diary that was missing. He grabbed a stick of pockey and placed it in his mouth. Fuyuki put the packet in his small satchel like thing that he had hanging of his pocket. He closed his locker and nibbled on the pockey, eating it as he went along. He closed his locker and then sat down on a bench in the hallway, he never liked eating with the rest of the school in the dining hall. "If that book ended up in the wrong hands i sware i will..." He spoke to himself, cutting his sentence off at the end.
Once Viola had finished eating the fruit she tossed it in the trash. She had been eyeing the white haired boy ever since the moment he said those words to her. She had finally recognized who he was, but unfortunately not his name. Apparently a lot of the students in Ouran high were afraid of him, but Viola wasn't sure what to think. She didn't know him very well so she couldn't say he was 'scary'. Approaching him with a blank expression on her face she held out the burnt book to him delicately. "Did you drop this?" she asked, narrowing her blue orbs, not convinced it would be him for he didnt seem like the type to carry around a burnt old diary.
Fuyuki looked up, just finishing his pockey. His eyes widened a bit, he gently took the book, knowing how to treat it properly. "Yes, my mothers diary... Where did you find this?" He asked, it was of course his, he was quite relived to see it, although he didn't show it on his face, he was emotionless on the outside, but joyful on the inside.
She let the boy take the book from her hands, a bit startled it was even his. Viola placed her hands to her side awkwardly, taking a note on how his eyes lit up for a second before going back to a blank look. "On the floor.." she said a bit to irritated, she didnt mean to sound rude, she just didnt understand that if this book was that important to him that he would carelessly drop it onto the classroom floor without notice.
"Thanks, i was being careless" He said with a small smile on his face for a split second. He got up and put it in his locker, making sure it was safe. Fuyuki closed his locker and walked back to the girl. "Whats your Name?" He asked in a less monotone voice than last time he spoke.
She felt guilty as he admitted how careless he was being. She let a soft smile appear on her face before saying "I'm Viola. What's your name?" and not making any greetable hand gesture. Instead she kept her hands behind her back, examining his red eyes and how tall he was compared to her.
"Fuyuki, Nice too meet you" Fuyuki wasn't using his cold hearted side as much at the moment, due to her giving the book back, and him being in a good mood. Fuyuki immediately noticed something crawling on the lockers behind him, he turned around swiftly and shot a knife strait out of his pocket into the top of his own locker in an instant. The supposed thing on the lockers was no more than a cat, the knife had only just missed the cat, he didn't want to kill anyone or anything so he purposly missed. This was one of his downfalls as this made him supposedly scary to the students at Ouran high, but he never gave a care what the other students thought of him. Fuyuki sighed heavily and looked at the hand he threw his knife with. He had a slightly depressed look on his face.
Viola wasn't at all surprised or frightened by what he did, she assumed that whatever was written in that book was very important to him. She picked up the cat he had just missed, stroking its black coat softly and smiling lightly as it cuddled against her purring and calming down. "Where did you learn to throw a knife like that?" Viola asked, not looking up from petting the cat. Although she was interested in how he was so skillfull she was also focused on how soft and adorable the black cat was.
Fuyuki put his hand back to his sides and turned around before replying "Well, after my father tried to kill me, instincts just started to kick in more, i managed to escape my father and get away, ever since then i've learnt to wield many different weapons" He replied, not meaning to say anything about his father, but it just came out. "Nevermind what i just said about my father" Fuyuki stated, his trenchcoat blowing behind him through the low breeze that went through the halls. ((BRB For 20 Mins))
She blinked her eyes for a moment in surprise at what he said, she remember the first time her Aunt attempted to stab her is when she fought back for the first time, when she actually defended herself and learned to become stronger. Although she didn't become skilled with weapons and martial art skills till 2 years ago, she still learned how to fight for her life. "I'm sorry... But, I think it's cool how you just learnt that all naturally." she complimented with a smile, which was something she rarely did. What was she doing? Viola realized this wasnt her at all, she rarely ever talked, if it were only a few minutes ago she wouldve given back his book and been off somewhere else. But, instead she found herself interested in this Fuyuki guy and stayed to dig deeper into who he really was.
"You don't need to apologize, my past is just a bit messed up" Fuyuki had a full smile on his face for once, which was actually a rare occasion due to the fact that everyone would dare to approach him. He new she was different somehow, in a way she was the first person to have a somewhat positive attitude towards him.
