message 2: by Antonia (new)

Antonia (adf7793) Mason walked into the Burger Chef, it was the only place that reminded him of home in this whole town. They had one back in his home town, him and his brother used to go there every Friday night. Well before the...incident. Mason sighed. He hated thinking about his brother, what had happen to him. It was his fault, he should have been watching his brother. He ground his teeth, one stupid mistake had ruined his brother's whole life. He hated himself for it. He ran his hand through his hair, he didn't know why he came here. These thoughts ran through his head every time. He left his old pack and his family to get away from them. Maybe he just like torturing himself, he deserved it after all.

wanderer (chloemai) Lyddy bustled into the Burger chef, raking a hand through her hair and sighing to herself, eyes darting around the over-populated area as a small frown creased her face. She couldn't believe Lucas. Ugh, the guy was awful with children, yet when she had informed him they needed food he had jumped at the chance to look after them with that cocky smirk on his face. He knew she hated being...Social. Mainly because of her stutter. But she refused to delve into that. Get in, get out, right? Lyddy darted through the throngs of people until she found herself standing in the line, rocking back on her heels. Her wolf was pacing, she could feel it. But for what reason she didn't know. Hell, she hadn't even had her first change yet. Damn wolf.

message 4: by Antonia (new)

Antonia (adf7793) Mase waved at a couple of guys from his pack, he wasn't overly friendly with his new pack. He tried to put people away from him, he couldn't take the chance of letting anyone get close. He had already let his old pack, his brother, he wouldn't let anyone down again. He stepped up in line, trying to decide what he wanted. He would probably end up getting the same thing, like always. He was a creature of habit. Suddenly his wolf was awakening, searching, where there rogues around? He discretely smelled the air. No, there where no rogues, but there was a faint, yet alluring scent about. His wolf was prancing in his head...when did his wolf ever prance?

message 5: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) It was bothering the crap outta her now. Why the hell was her wolf so awake all of a sudden. She caught on to a scent, her attention leaving the prospect of getting food and being drawn to something...No someone else. The scent was intriguing, her favourite smells all mingled together and then something else. She just couldn't describe it. Her frown grew more prominent as she took another step foreward as the line moved, but she felt the need to drop what she was doing and go in search of the holder of the perfect scent. Lyddy shook her head. She was probably just being stupid and imagining things. But she needed to find out who it was. She mentally made a deal with herself that she would go on a mini search after the task at hand was done, although her wolf seemed to object against this strongly.

Antonia (adf7793) Mason's gaze traveled around the restaurant, quietly searching for...something? His pack mates didn't act like they noticed anything amiss. But his wolf was trying to claw his was out, he wanted to take control of Mase. That surprised him, his wolf had been more or less a recluse since his brother was hurt. Feeling, like Mason did, the injuries that Max had sustained in the rogue attack was his fault. He kept looking about him, but nothing stood out to him. Huffing in annoyance he returned his attention to the moving line. His eyes landed upon a short girl in front of him, he had missed her before. She seemed to be just as anxious as he was, did she sense the same thing that he did?

message 7: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) Lyddy couldn't stop herself from letting her gaze dart around, trying to pinpoint who it was that had such an inticing scent. Again, she moved foreward in the line, knotting her hands together in front if her, her knuckles turning white at this simple task. She ground her teeth together as again, she found herself glancing around over and over again, throat dry as she again, took another step. Just one last look, she promised herself begrudgingly before looking around completely. And then her chocolate brown irises met his and she felt the breath rush into her lungs as she looked into the eyes of a stranger. She whipped back around, heart thumping against her chest as she now found herself at the ordering desk. She quietly recited what each of the children wanted, her face turning tomato as she stuttered over her words. Eventually she got the whole order out and within about 10 minutes she had bags filled with unhealthy, yet delicious junk food. Damn, what was she going to do now? Her wolf was still drawing her to the stranger, and after hesitating for a few moments she began to make her way out of the burger chef, her arm lightly brushing up against his as she did so.

message 8: by Antonia (new)

Antonia (adf7793) Shocks. Burst through his body, unthinking he turned following her to the door. The fact that he came here to get food completely slipped from his mind. It no longer mattered to him, only she mattered to him. He had to be near her, she seemed upset, he needed to comfort her. She was easily getting through the large lunch crowd. He on the other hand was not doing so well, he was much larger than her, and people were moving. So he moved them. His pack mates where shooting him odd looks, wondering was in the world he was doing. But he didn't care, Mason had to get to her before she walked out of Burger Chef. Someone stood unmoving directly in front of him, he growled at him. The guy looked at him strangely, but moved, Mason got to the door a moment before her and opened it. Looking in her beautiful brown eye, he breathlessly said, "Mine.

message 9: by wanderer (last edited Apr 20, 2013 05:07AM) (new)

wanderer (chloemai) Lyddy was sure she felt...Something. Like a spark as her arm brushed against his,but she forced herself to brush it off. It was just a trick of the mind, right? Although her wolf didn't seem to think so. She cold feel it leaping and jumping in her head, although she tried to push this down as much as possible. Just a trick of the body, right? Although her wolf was never wrong. But she just couldn't think about that right now, clearly her wolf was just acting up. She raked a hand absentmindedly through her hair as she glanced behind her, catching sight of the guy following her but again, brushing it off as she walked. He opened the door before her, and another faint frown plastered across her face before she relaxed and let an easy smile pass across her lips as she nodded in thanks, not daring to speak for her stutter would get in the way. Instead in thanks she gently pressed her hand against his arm. And then she felt it. She sucked in a breath as fireworks set off throughout her whole body, looking up at him with innocence in her eyes, her breath continuing to catch in her throat. "H-hi." She managed, mouth slightly agape.

message 10: by Antonia (new)

Antonia (adf7793) Mason gazed down at her, the tiny girl that had only spoken one word to him, yet he would be willing to give his life for hers. Already. There was movement all around them, but she was the only thing that he saw. It was as if they were the only two people in the world. And oddly Mason didn't want it any other way, he would gladly spend his life with only her by his side. He finally noticed she was carrying a lot of food and he frowned, how stupid of him. He carefully took the heavy load from her, as his mate it was only fair that he did so. He smiled down at her, his tiny little mate, she was all his. His heart stopped...what if he let her down. What if he couldn't protect her? He could protect his brother and now he would be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. He had let Max down. Mason couldn't, no Mason wouldn't let her down. He would die before he let that happen, his mate deserved no less. "Hi...I'm Mason." it wasn't the best introduction, but then again Mason had the rest of his life to get it right.

message 11: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) Lyddy was forced to tilt her head back to look up at him swallowing visibly as she met his eyes. This was all so...Different. She had never had many boyfriends in the past, one or two, sure, but not for a good few years. Everything was a blur except him. This was really happening, this was really it. Her throat had gone dry, everything was tingling as she just simply watched him, a shy smile dancing across her lips as her heart continued to skip a few beats at his smile He was so...Tall. But then again, everybody was taller than her. "L-Lydia." She said with a nod. "L-Lyddy." she managed with a nod of her head. She was getting slightly panicky now. What if she couldn't be everything he needed? She knew she wasn't exactly one of those super models on the page of the glossy magazines, far from it. She rarely caught anybody's eye. What if she disappointed him? Did something wrong. It was so risky, yet something that she couldn't turn away from. "I-I uh....T-thanks." She said with a nod as he took her bags. "Y-you really don't have to." She murmured.

message 12: by Antonia (last edited Apr 20, 2013 06:12AM) (new)

Antonia (adf7793) "But I want to...Lyddy. Such a beautiful name, though it doesn't do you justice," Mason mused to himself, never had he ever seen a girl more beautiful, more right for him. She was the one for him, he had never been more sure about something in his entire life. "She's a Shadowfield...what are you doing?" a voice sounded through his mind link. Mason scowled, She's mine. and shut his mind link off. He didn't care, the packs were merging soon anyways. The rule about not mating with a wolf from the other pack had been lifted. Thank the goddess. He would have left his pack to be with her, it wouldn't have been the first pack he had left. "Umm, where would you like for me to take these? We don't want the food getting cold, fast food isn't the same when it's cold." he smiled down at her.

message 13: by wanderer (last edited Apr 20, 2013 06:49AM) (new)

wanderer (chloemai) At his first sentence her blush came quick and almost instant as that shy smile crept up on to her face again. She had never felt such a way, she hadn't felt so happy for a long time, it was true. Ever since the attack she had never felt truly happy. Sure she had come close, and her brother always made her laugh, but she hadn't felt whole like she did now in a long time. Not even when she was cruising across the waves during the night time. Although it made her feel almost whole again, but not like this. Certainly nowhere near this. She vaguely caught the scent of Silvermoon, and again her instincts were on a high, but her wolf was pushing these barriers down. "W-well I was headed t-toward the park a-actually." Damn stutter, god, she bet he was disappointed that his mate wasn't a blonde haired blue eyed smooth talker. Instead he got a short, brown haired brown eyed stutterer with more than a few problems. She chuckled at his words. "B-besides pizza. When you g-get takeaway pizza i-its always b-better cold." She pointed out with a firm nod.

message 14: by Antonia (new)

Antonia (adf7793) Mason chuckled, she was intelligent, he liked that. He was glad he wasn't being tied to a blonde bimbo as a mate. "You're right, pizza is better cold...though that might be the only exception. Would you like for me to accompany you there?" he hoped she said yes, he was going to go either way. But if she said no, he would have to hide, which as a hunter he's good at. Mason felt as if he made her nervous, which upset him quite a bit. He didn't want his mate to feel nervous of scared around him...ever. He was going to work on that though, He would make sure he wasn't afraid of him, he was going to prove to both of him that he could and would keep her safe.

message 15: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) Lyddy nodded in response, smoothing down her clothes as she did so. She didn't look to awful. She had chosen a frilly, button up blouse, white with navy spots on a of a silky material, and had paired this with a smile navy skirt, pulling the outfit together with a tan belt around her mid rift to show off her slim waist, and topping the outfit of with a pair of tan heels and frilled socks. She rarely wore anything outstanding, preferring to stick to what she knew best, normally conservative clothes that didn't draw much attention to her. Hell, she rarely dressed up. She adjusted the messy bun she had tossed her hair into, light blush still on her cheeks as she again, let a soft smile go across her lips. "S-sure. Your welcome to come a-along. My brothers there t-though. And a few children. B-babysitting." She offered up with a nod, tapping her fingers against her thigh, unsure of where they stood on everything.

(view spoiler)

message 16: by Antonia (new)

Antonia (adf7793) "Alright then, thank you, let's go." Mason smiled down at his mate, and waited for her to lead the way. He was nervous about meeting her brother, hopefully he would try to fight him. Mason wouldn't fight back, for his mate's sake, but he wasn't going to be a punching bag either. He followed silently beside her, keeping a distance between them, so he wouldn't make her nervous. In all honesty he wanted nothing more that to wrap his arms around her and never let go. When they came upon the park Mason noticed a pack member sitting with someone he didn't know. Though the fact that he looked like Lyddy lead him to believe that this was her brother.

message 17: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) Lyddy pursed her lips slightly, refraining from sending a message to her brother through their bond and instead leading her mate toward the park. Mate... the word sounded so foreign on her tongue, but at the same time it was so right to say. She saw that he was almost falling behind and keeping a distance. Maybe she was right. Maybe he was disapointed. Who wouldn't be with girls that boys pined after and girls wished they could be. He hadn't exactly drawn such a good deal mate wise. Her eyes landed on her brother and she rolled her eyes at the fact that he had managed to add yet another assumed bimbo to his list of bimbos. She should really begin making a tally. "He'll go for anybody." She informed Mase with a sigh, ushering him toward the bench as she did so.

message 18: by Antonia (new)

Antonia (adf7793) "She's in my pack, her name's Haven...I've never seen her talk to anyone actually. Well besides those that she has to heal." Mason made his comment offhand, as he caught up and walked closer to her. He wondered if her brother would like him, once again, it was going to brother him until they met. Mason looked at her brother he was fixated on Haven like she was the only girl he had ever seen. Surly they were mates, were they? "You don't think they are mates, do you?" Mason would actually be happy for Haven, from what he had heard she had a rough past. Just like him.

message 19: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) "H-healer huh? I-I'm a scout m-myself." Ugh she was getting on her own nerves as she abssently chewed on her bottom lip, a habit of hers for when she was on edge. She let her gaze drift back to her brother, registered that his face was positivley glowing. No.... Surely not both of them on the same day. But the way Lucas' eyes had simply lit up said otherwise as she glanced up at Mason. "I-I guess we'll f-find out soon enough." She said with a faint smile and a nod before letting her gaze drift away before she tilted her head back to look up at him. "H-hey, I um, i-is there something w-wrong with me. B-because y-you seem to be k-keeping your distance. I-I mean I know I'm don't exactly h-have model l-looks, but ah...Oh I'I'm just being r-ridiculous. F-forget I ever s-said anything..." She trailed off with a shrug, cheeks ablaze as she did so.

message 20: by Antonia (new)

Antonia (adf7793) "What wait?" Mason stood there with his jaw dropped, how could she think that? "No! No it's not like that at all! I've been keeping my distance because I thought you were nervous and afraid of me. I didn't want you to feel that way so I backed off. I'm sorry that I gave you the impression that I didn't seem to want you...how could I not? Lyddy, you have no idea how perfect you are to me! I don't care that you don't have "model" looks, I don't want anyone but you! You're the most beautiful girl I've ever had the pleasure of laying my eyes on!" Mason blushed after his big confession. Him, Mason Gideon, had blushed. He didn't think that he had ever blushed before in his life.

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) we sell millions nation wide." amber mockingly smirked reading burger Chet's sign, "sounds great." She smiled looking back at Adam

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

Raoul rolled his eyes."You won't regret it."He leaned over her seat and unlocked it. "Just don't ditch me for the food/"

message 23: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) Amber laughed "okay, I'll try."

message 24: by [deleted user] (new)

Raoul gave her a smile after getting out of the car. He went around and held her door open. "So how do you feel finding your mate?"He asked curiously.

message 25: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) Amber smiled and got out "speechless." She scrunched up her nose smiling

message 26: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) <3

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

Raoul chuckled and took her hand in his as he lead her inside the 'resturaunt'. His blood felt hot when his skin touched hers. Her skin was so soft and her hand looked so dainty compared to his. He licked his dry lips out of habit when he was nervous. This girl made him feel so warm? He was going to need to control himself for her.

message 28: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) Her whole body tingled when he held her hand. It was rough and protective, warm against hers. He rubbed her thumb against his hand, and was tempted to move even closer to him, but controlled herself "so what do you recommend?" She asked as they sat down at a booth she looked at her menu

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

Raoul pursed his lips, thinking. He felt slightly weak from her caresses of just a mere touch on his hand! "Well I'd get their special. They have a steak burger that is to die for." He didn't even check the menu having been at this place countless times. He found it cute though to see he concentrating on the menu.

message 30: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) Amber leaned forward "their special huh?" She was inches away from his face, studying it, his eyes were like a brown river she got lost in and the structure of his face...his lips.... His smell was very inviting, she couldn't quite put her finger on it

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

Raoul found himself getting lost in her eyes and he sunk in their marvelous abyss. He barely caught her response, but nodded."Yeah..." Already he wanted to feel every crevice of her. He wondered if she would perfectly mold into his own body as they kissed? No he shouldn't be thinking such thoughts.

message 32: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) Amber felt dazed, lost in him, her wolf almost getting the better of her. When a waiter interrupted them, by clearing his throat, amber leaned back reluctantly, almost growling at him. "And what will you be having this afternoon?" He asked

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

"Ladies first..."Raoul said politely to his mate. There was a small bitterness under his breath though from the sudden interruption. It couldn't be caught though since it was very quiet.

message 34: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) Amber "I'll be having your special." She said, the sister turned to Raoul "and you sir?"

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

"Same as her with unsweetened ice tea."Raoul showed no other acknowledgement to the waiter though.

message 36: by Ryeleigh (last edited Apr 30, 2013 09:29PM) (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) (Oops waiter not sister)

the waiter nodded, "anything I can get you to drink?" He asked amber "a raspberry lemonade please." She said curtly, the waiter left

message 37: by [deleted user] (new)

Raoul copied Amber's action, rubbing his thumb on the palm of her hand. "So tell me about you. "

message 38: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) She smiled weakly, wanting more of him, "well...what do you want to know?"

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

"Hobbies? Family? Anything really."

message 40: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) "Well....I can't cook, I really like archery, writing, dance, reading, fighting." She winked at him, and then her face fell "all dead."

message 41: by [deleted user] (new)

"What's wrong?"Raoul frowned seeing her change in attitude. His body tensed not liking the thought of a possible threat on his mate.

message 42: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) She looked up at him, "all my family's dead." She said hoarsely, she ought' to be over it by now, but she wasnt

message 43: by [deleted user] (new)

Raoul couldn't fight the urge as he found himself beside her pulling her to his chest. They were suppose to take it slow but he didn't want to see her heart."Do you want to talk about it?"

message 44: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) She shook her head, "no, im good." She loved being this close to her, it made her feel protected, made her feel as if everything would be alright

message 45: by [deleted user] (new)

Raoul rested his chin on her head and stroked her arms."Anything else then?"

message 46: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) She smiled thoughtfully "not that I can think of, what about you?"

message 47: by [deleted user] (new)

"Well i have a bass that i have played since I was 13. I don't really like sushi. I like to stay fit. "Raoul said at the top of his head.

message 48: by Ryeleigh (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) "I agree, sushi a nust" she smiled, she hated fish.

message 49: by [deleted user] (new)

"I don't understand the point of eating something that could give you a pararsite."Raoul pointed out as the waiter set the drinks on their table.

message 50: by Ryeleigh (last edited May 01, 2013 04:51PM) (new)

Ryeleigh (imaginationist) Amber smiled creeped on her lips "crazy people." She said taking a sip of her drink
