This is a wonderful read for a younger reader and shares the experience of the kids on the Fugees team. I shared with my daughter (who is nearly 7) and she enjoyed seeing into the lives of those who are very different than her in their life experiences, but yet understood that they wanted to belong--like all kids! I have enjoyed talking to her about the book and seeing her eyes opened to other's plights.
