Here are the rules.
I will announce a new WORD by posting: “NEW WORD ”. If you wish to play then you will symbolically place your hand on the word by posting: “MY HAND IS ON THE WORD”.
Once all hands are placed on the word, I will give a hint about the word. If you think you know the hint, then you should try to answer. Each correctly answered hint is worth one point. However, I must warn you… these words are quite slippery!
If you answer the hint incorrectly, your hand will “slip” from the word. Answer 3 hints incorrectly and your hand falls from the word altogether, disqualifying you from the round completely.
Contrary, if you answer the hint correctly you gain traction… and win a point! Your hand will remain on the word and you can continue on to the next round and try to guess the next hint.
Anyone with their hand still on the word can attempt to guess the word at any time, however, if you guess the wrong word… you lose a turn.
Guess the correct word and win FIVE to FIFTEEN points depending on the difficulty-level of the word (I will tell you how many points the word is worth at the beginning of the round).
CAUTION: This game is not easy. So, if you are not ready, DO NOT place your hand on the word! All of that being said… good luck guys. And let’s have some fun!
