New Tech discussion

I'm open to suggestions on how best to evolve this group and transform it into something interesting a different. Though there will be plenty of books that focus on cool new tech, I'm particularly interested in something that helps bring out books that offer new insights and are thought provoking about new tech in our lives. Thanks!

First, you've got to get members. Invite friends using the "Invite some" link under "Friends in this group." I'll do it in a day or two - I just invited a bunch to the Technothriller group and I don't want to wear out my welcome.

Another suggestion - pose a provocative question or opinion and get some people passionate about it. Here's a scary one - I just learned that some military operatives have eye implants that provide infrared vision. This came from a very knowledgeable and well-connected source, but I don't know if I believe it or not. The implant is irreversible, according to this source.
