Too soon? Open to suggestion.

Susan | 6406 comments For me, yes. I can't answer for others. I have too much going on in the next month and a half.

Ok. How's that?

message 6: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments That I could probably work with.

Zen (zentea) | 515 comments Ok! Who else is in?!

WooooT!

message 12: by Emily (new)

Emily E (emily_e1) | 1032 comments By the way, May 15 is going to be a big (unrealistic)stretch for me. It takes about 2 weeks or so for anything I post to make it stateside, and I am nowhere need ready to burn a new shebang in a week.

Extension possibly? If everyone else is ready I'm happy to bow out rather than hold everybody up...

Emily E (emily_e1) | 1032 comments Oh good! I think I had a 'skimming'revisit thread moment. I just saw message two and had a small panic. All better (and much more plausible) now :)

message 14: by smetchie (new)

smetchie | 4034 comments We need a couple boys. I'm gonna see what I can drum up.

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

Count me in. I do have a question though. What's this "Theme" business I keep hearing about? We used to just put cool songs we like on a disc and trade them round. Do I need to be following a theme in my choices? Cause, I can...but it'd be a whole different mix.

Zen, PM me your addy to send discs to.

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

Question:

Has anyone ever printed the song listing/CD cover directly from iTunes? Because, mine (for another mix/playlist) keeps coming out with all 23 tracks typed all over each other. You can't even read it! STUPID iTunes!!

*sigh*

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh...that will be a different mix. :?

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

Ha, I'm having a good laugh while creating a new playlist for this shebang. Scrolling past Art Garfunkle and Anne Murray were surreal...given the theme. *snickers*

message 19: by smetchie (new)

smetchie | 4034 comments I can never get the track list to print from itunes. Fucking apple product. "Oh it's intuitive!" My ass.

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

Smetch, you just quoted a hundred "conversations" between me and the Mister. He LOVES Mac and LOATHES PC...we have all Mac crap at home and I can't do a dang thing without wanting to swear and tear at my hair. (that rhymed...)

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

*giggles while passing on "Love Shack"*

More boys would be good. I want to know what music makes their hips grind! ;-)

Susan | 6406 comments smetchie wrote: "We need a couple boys. I'm gonna see what I can drum up."

I am guessing that the boys can't produce an All Wet shebang.

Phil | 11856 comments Susan wrote: "I am guessing that the boys can't produce an All Wet shebang."

^^^^^ That.

message 26: by [deleted user] (new)

Well, I'm pretty sure I have mine picked. But, if you're actually going to put it in whilst snuggling, your SO is going to have to have a sense of humor or I might spoil the mood. Some of mine are a bit...uh...toungue in cheek. :) (totally intended btw)

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

I always save the iTunes list to a file and edit it in Excel. If that helps Amelia.

I am also unable to join the shebang. I was seconded temperarily into a different department this week. To assist them with a major project they have on. Yay! For the recognition. Boo, my spare time just went out the window.

Well they CAN. They just need to translate it into man.

message 29: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments But can they measure up?

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

* gets out tape measure... passes it to Suz*

Mine is longer.

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

That dude from Kiss?

message 36: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11856 comments Gene Simmons.

No.

message 37: by [deleted user] (new)

Gotta pass this time around. I'm in the middle of finishing my basement and the magic CD burner is all packed up and put away.

message 38: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments Damn.

:(

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

I've officially jumped the shark, trading rock and roll for drywall, floor tile, and electrical outlets.

message 40: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments Nooooooo!

Tis a sad day, indeed.

Besides, drywall is a bitch.

message 41: by [deleted user] (last edited Apr 25, 2013 09:34AM) (new)

Ssssspackle.

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments if that is not being turned into a legit man cave then you have to turn in your ramones tee shirts and your barry sanders bobblehead

message 43: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments I think thems might be fighting words.

I already have my man cave on Floor #1.

The basement is being turned into a kids cage, er cave.

message 45: by [deleted user] (new)

I'd say that having the KID cave in the basement is a VERY good idea. Otherwise, he'd have the stomping feet over his man cave screwing with:

Susan | 6406 comments ::scans Mr. D's previous post of materials and notes lack of mention of padded wall coverings, shackles and wrestling ring::

Better to call it the Wonder Dome.

You do realize if they don't manage to maim each other first that they will eventually take boys down there.

message 47: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments ok. that works clark. just as long as you weren't turning it into a scrapbook haven

message 48: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments Ha. Or hosting Bunco parties.

message 49: by [deleted user] (new)

Hey. Craft rooms are just as important as man caves! I built my own craft desk into the wide closet in our spare room. The mister only helped put up the track lighting! I've got my own DeWalt cordless drill & driver...I can do anything!! I did a good job too. I sat on it (197 according to yesterday's Dr. Visit) and it didn't budge...no legs (the table), just reinforced and bolted to the studs. :)

message 50: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments My girl!

I have that same drill. I asked for it for my birthday years ago. I have to remind my husband to put the thing on neutral so as not to drain the battery.

::shakes head::
