Kat | 4 comments So I know his series isn't strictly part of the Dark Hunter series yet, but considering his plot line throughout all of the books and his own development in the Chronicles of Nick and how it could impact the overall development of the Dark Hunter World, I think it's worth discussing.

SPOILERS to Chronicles of Nick Series
For instance, in the event that Nick IS able to alter his destiny with the help of his future self, do you think that Kenyon will write her later books to reflect this? How would Nick NOT becoming a Dark Hunter impact plotlines in books such as "Dark Side of the Moon"?

See I was wondering the same thing, also if he is able to alter his future, will his mother be alive? Since that would be so weird, since in the books she has been dead for awhile. Also will he continue to hate Acheron? I am a bit confused about all that. But also can't wait to see how it continues

Kat | 4 comments It will be interesting to see if she writes any novellas or short stories that change little pieces of the Dark Hunter novels so that Nick doesn't end up becoming one. Although he does play a pivotal role in some books or an unexpected part like in Acheron, One Silent Night, and Dark Side of the Moon.

Book Dragon | 1 comments I was thinking the same. And all along while I was reading Inferno I couldn't get rid of my thoughts from other DH books where Nick and Acheron are enemies.(view spoiler)And it's still hard to process that Nick doesn't know Simi is Acheron's demon. Sometimes is all a bit confusing if I mix DH and Chronicles of Nick. But I like it anyway.

Kat | 4 comments I love the little cross-references and learning how Nick was introduced to all of the characters that we see in later books. But yea, you have to keep them separate in order to not go insane trying to line everything up.

Speaking of Inferno, absolutely HATED the epilogue. SPOILER: [What kind of "other dimensional" crap is that? I get the Nick can in no way have a normal life but based on that, the entire next book will be him trapped in a normal life and trying to escape back to his real life.]

Fenris Aristi | 1 comments Okay normally dont bother with this but CON is connected to DH world for those who dont know. here is a post from SK on her site.

Q: How do CON and DH world Connect
I actually answer that in every CON book, and in Infamous in greater detail. But the best explanation is found in the prologue of Infinity. There are lynch pin events that will not, cannot, and do not change. Major events such as Nick meeting Kyrian, Kyrian meeting Amanda, etc. will remain the same. Little details might alter- such as the exact time they meet i.e. Nick know meets Simi earlier, but he still doesn’t know who her father is… yet. Whether or not he learns that will depend.
What Nick is really trying to change is what he will become if he doesn’t save the lives of friends he loses and events we have yet to get to in the DH books. The only real thing he’s trying to change that is in DH books to date is the death of his mother.
Inferno will open with a glimpse of Ambrose’s future and what is awaiting Nick and why it is imperative that he save certain lives. The timelines will mesh and I do have it all worked out. When you read the two series, you won’t be lost or confused. It does all make sense. You just have to read it carefully. Everything is and has been foreshadowed from the very beginning.

Nette | 9 comments Though I have them, I have NOT read any of Nick's books. After he decided to become Acheron's enemy, I lost all interest (more like, I CAN NOT stand him!!!)in him.

Now I'm going to HAVE to read his books because of what has been mentioned here in this thread. Damn! I introduced my sister-in-law to this series, which she absolutely loves. She has been pushing(more like threatening) me to read Nick's books...lol Oh well, when in Rome...

I can not remember who Con is???

Ok thanks I really freak out about these things, the characters are almost like family and I can't stand to see any of them get hurt.
