Vivid walked down the street, keeping near to the buildings. He didn't really know where to go, but he knew he didn't really need any more supplies for a while.

Coming from the swimming pool, Cookie started to make her way down the street. Maybe she would go to the tune bar later.

Viv turned to see that same girl from the forest following him again. He turned into an alley and pressed himself to a wall. He pulled his silver knife out of his jacket pocket and kept it against his right leg. Viv pulled down his hood and tensed his body in anticipation of a confrontation.

"all right, girl, what do you want with me?" Vivid demanded. His arm was trembling; he hadn't had to physically defend himself before, even with the training. He was nervous, but on the surface he was calm and ready (((eminem reference ahahah)))

"Answers are not what you are going to get," muttered Viv, taking a silent deep breath to still the shaking. "and I will not drop the knife, just as you will not stop nosing about."

He closed his eyes for a second and pressed himself harder into the wall.

((Okay))

"You know what? I'm not scared of you. I'm scared for you. You don't know what you're getting yourself into. Secrets are secrets. No one can help be. I'm warning you, it'd be best for you to just fuck off."

Vivid was a bit intimidated by her, but mostly he was annoyed. He didn't trust this girl, those eyes were not honest.

Viv willed himself to calm down and look more neutral.

"Once again, I am not scared of you. Now, if you'll excuse me.."
Viv stuck out his left arm quickly and shoved the girl to the side. He used his electrokinesis to summon just a small jolt of electricity down to the girl as he ran off.

Vivid was taken aback by her reflexes and even more so when she helped him up. He still gripped his knife, and now knew he wouldn't easily win a fight against her, not often at least. He gritted his teeth together.

"What exactly do you want from me?"

Vivid closed his eyes and concentrated. "Vivid Light."

He pressed his lips together. He did not want to be persuaded and reveal anything to this girl.

"I still don't know why you need to know anything... who's business is it anyways?"

"Well news flash, you're not getting anything else out of me, unless I get a good enough reason. And that, that would be a very hard thing to do."

Vivid cocked his head to the side.

"Go right ahead, bitch. Go right ahead."

Vivid could see she was getting frustrated with him. He smirked, the left corner of his mouth turning up slightly. He quickly shook his head and stood up. What could she do that would ruin him now? Vivid started down the street.

Vivid winked at her. "Nope. Perfectly legal magic, either way."

Vivid cocked his head to the side again. "Why should I care?" He turned on his heel and called over his shoulder. "See you around, girlie."

Natalie was walking down the street behind Atlas looking at all the beautiful houses.

"It has it's ups and downs" Natalie replied

No I haven's talked to him yet, but I don't think it's the bets time. Natalie said looking down feeling sorry for Derrick.

"Yeah lets go in" Natalie said walking up to the door.

He walked out on to the street

Derrick walked the streets thinking of what just occurred, and why he was such and idiot for trying to drive drunk. One could tell he was down and was still a little drunk by the way he carried his body.

River stalked down the street, her hands balled into fists- she was so anger she barely think straight.
After bringing the SUV to the shop to have the mirror repaired, she'd decided to find Derrick.
Well, hunt him down was probably the mort accurate word.

derrick continued to walk down the street still stumbling occasionally but he felt worse and worse for what he did the more he walked.

River looked up at a weaving person ahead of her.
Derrick.
She jogged a couple feet closer then slowed and shouted, "Derrick, TURN AROUND!" Loudly.

Derrick stops and turns to see River, jogging towards him.

"What the hell were you thinking?!" She yelled, stopping inches from him. "You almost killed her!"

" i don't know, I shouldn't have drove. I get that now. I feel like shit for it too." he says looking down.

River didn't let up. "Well you should! I told you to let me drive but you had one of those stupid, "I'm guy so I'm the all-mighty" moments!" She threw her hands in the air.
"You could have gotten arrested, or throw out of school!"

"well maybe I should've gotten arrested, you know what? I'll just turn myself in and hopefully get kicked out of fucking place." he says unsure why he's yelling back.

River's temper was only growing as Derrick's voice rose. She stepped closer, feeling a surge of energy from his mind. "Don't you dare."

"might as well, everything is going to shit" he says throwing his hands in the air

River shook her. "Derrick, come on. I didn't mean for you to want to leave. I'm just... I was scared, that's all."

"you think I wasn't scared?" He says looking at her still angry for no apparent reason, maybe because he was still drunk. " I was fucking terrified. So I did the one thing I'm good at. I walked away. Cause I couldn't bare witnessing someone almost die by my stupidity."

River searched for the words... "Derrick..." She began..."You can't walk away. From anything- ever. Believe me, you can't. You've just gotta face these things."

"yeah i faced it alright" he laughs a little "she gave me a killer left hook too" he says to her trying to ease the tension between them

River chuckled and shook her head again. Then, she stood on tiptoe to hug him. "Can you promise just one thing though?" She whispered in his ear.

he hugged her back and said "sure, what is it?"

"Please, please, don't ever get that drunk ever again or it ain't gonna end well for you."

"i't aint gonna end pretty for me anyways" he says with out thinking. "but i promise I will never drink like that again" he says kissing her forehead.

"Thank you," She said, trying to ignore the stab of sadness within her. She kissed him back.

"can we please go to my house before i pass out?" he says with a laugh. Derrick was getting sleepy and plus after everything calmed his adrenaline soonslowed making him feel drunker again

(Lol it's okay. sorry that took me so long- had to take care of my animals and one of them is dying :())
River nodded. "Sure. I've got a lot of homework to do though...for the Circle thing." She said, taking his hand.

derrick grabs her hand and walks with her still stumbling.

"I think I probably deserve the hangover" he says looking at her, "you know.. teach me to never drink like that again."
