Paxton parked his black car under the cover of trees and went around back to get his precious cargo out of the trunk. He lifted the drugged and sleeping Envy out of his car and carried her to the entrance of the cellar. He looked once around him to make sure no one could see him before walking down the old and cracking stone steps and into the dark shadows of the underground cellar. He carried her down a long passage and hooked a left then a right. He stood in the open area he had made just for his plans. There were lanterns set around so the space had dim light lighting up the dark space. He walked over to the corner of the room where he had put chains in the wall. He put the chain cuffs that had been soaked in silver nitrate on Env's wrists and ankles so if the nitrate in her system wares off while he wasn't there, she couldn't get away. He ran a gentle hand down the side of her face before snarling, "You will be mine."

The nitrate was starting to wear off again and Envy groggily opened her eyes. The life that was normally in them was gone and replaced with dullness. She slowly looked around the room and figured out where she was. She checked her links and found she could only connect with Cora Cora, I'm in the Cellar in the woods! she said just as Pax re-entered the room. She glared him but didn't have the strength to do anything else. She noticed he had something shiny in his hands. A knife. Envy's eyes widened in fear.

"I'm sorry I have to do this, but I can't risk you giving him kids if this doesn't work." Pax said as he walked closer. "I need to know you can never give him what should be mind." He voice was a whispered as he pinned her against the wall. "I promise, If you want kids in the future, we can adopt" And with that, he plunged the knife deep into her lower abdomen. Envy cried out in pain as the knife sank deep in her. "I'm so sorry, baby." Pax said as he pulled the knife out and roughly pulled her lobbing head up and kissed her, with force. Envy could feel the blood seeping out of her and running down her front. She had hot tears running down her face and she sobbed as he kissed her.

"GET OFF HER!" Cora screamed as she ran into the cellar, she had been driving nearby went she had felt Envy again. Now all she felt was fury, her wolf had completely taken over. She shifted into her silver wolf, a true Luna wolf, normally Lunas didn't fight...but she was making an exception for him. Paxton wasn't getting out of this fight alive. She lunged at him, catching him off guard digging her claws into his chest and latching her teeth on his throat. Finn, Renee... she opened her link broadcasting their location to anyone and everyone in her pack.

Paxton pulled the silver wolf off of him and threw her to the ground. "She's mine!" He growled at her as he held a hand to his bleeding neck. That was definitely going to leave a mark later on.

Envy had passed out from pain and the large amount of blood loss she was suffering from. The chains that held her hand immobilized kept her from slumping to the ground. She now hung awkwardly from the ceiling by her cuffed wrists.

Cora rolled landing without injury, and snarled at him, her meaning was clear. She's not yours! She faked like she was going to go for his throat again, but counter positioning herself behind him. She jumped at his back, knocking him down and trying to go for the back of his neck. She needed to end this quickly and get to Envy...she would die if she wasn't healed soon. Surely, Paxton had to know that!

Paxton growled and rolled over and at the same time, Grabbed Cora and got her in a choke hold. He slowly cut off her oxygen just as Finn and Rule entered the dark space. Paxton's black soulless eyes flew to Finn, "She's mine!!"

Cora whimpered she was losing air and fast, she was going to black out soon. She turned her muzzle slightly an clamped down tightly on his forearm. It might not kill him, but it would sure hurt like a bitch.

Finn snarled, releasing his alpha energy, "SHE'S MINE!" He rushed over to Envy, trying to get her loose, while Cora and Rule were focusing on Paxton.

Pax let go of her will a short cry of pain. He bounced to his feet and turned to go after Finn who was now trying to take away what was his. he got two steps when he was hit with Finn's energy. He staggered a couple steps but then went after Finn. He punched him square in the jaw and pushed his away from Envy, "She's always been mine!" He shouted, advancing towards Finn.

Cora rolled away when he let her going, trying to get out of his reach. She glanced around and saw some sort of lab coat. She rushed over and slipped it on as she shifted, she needed to heal Envy. Paxton was too busy with Finn, besides somehow she didn't think that he would come after her again. He could have shifted, or snapped her neck when he had the chance...but he didn't. She was confused, she didn't know why, but that didn't matter right now. Envy mattered, she was losing too much blood.

Finn took the punch to the face like a champ, the next one Paxton threw at him, he was ready for. He caught Paxton's fist with his hand, twisting his hand behind his back. He then grabbed the back of Paxton's head and shoved face first him as hard as he could into the stone covered wall. "She will never be yours!"

Paxton groaned as his face hit the wall but he didn't pass out. He shifted into a large brown wolf and jumped up at Finn, going for his jugular. He needed to protect what he thought was his.

Rule ran to Envy's side and tried to take the cuffs holding her ankles off, but he found that you needed a key to get them off. "Corie, help me find the key!"

Finn brought his knees up before they hit the ground, using their momentum to push Paxton off of him. He shifted into his slightly larger black wolf, and snarled at him.

Corie looked around for the key, spotting it the pile of clothes that had ripped off of Paxton when he shifted. Paxton was still close to the key, but they needed to get her down, so that way Corie could heal her. She took a deep breath and ran for the key, praying that Paxton was more worried about Finn than her.

Paxton didn't even notice that Cora had taken the keys from his pile of ruined clothing. He was more focused on Finn. They were currently circling each other, waiting for one of them to strike. Deciding he couldn't wait any longer and his chances were getting smaller. He made a desperate move towards Envy. He needed to mark her before they could stop him.

Cora had made it over to the key and back without incident, she unlocked the cuffs on her side and handed the key to Rule. She then closed her eyes focusing all the power that she had left to heal Envy. It wasn't a lot, Cora was drained, but it was enough to stop the bleeding and heal the flesh. Whether or not anything inside Envy was damaged...Cora didn't know. Without her full energy she couldn't heal it if she wanted too, which of course she did.

Finn took the opportunity of Paxton revealing his back instantly, he jumped on the smaller wolf's back. His teeth latched onto the back of his neck. With a death grip on Paxton, Finn twisted his head with a jerk. Beautifully snapping Paxton's neck with ease, it was a painless death...much better than he deserved. But Envy needed him.

Envy lay slumped on her side after rule unlocked the cuffs from his side. There was a huge puddle of blood on the ground under her and her wrists and ankles were cut up from being suspended from the ceiling. So far sue hadn't woken up due to the blood loss and nitrate in her system.

Rule couldn't look as his friend was killed. They had grown up together, but he had taken his sister and for that he couldn't forgive him, "Cora, don't hurt yourself to heal her. We will get her back and she can just sleep it off or we can call the healers to help her."

"Call the healers and have them meet us at the pack house, but if I don't heal what I can now...she will die. I can feel her slipping." Cora pushed out her remaining energy, her markings began to sparkle, as she healed the outside of Envy's wound and pulled most of the nitrate still in her system. That way Envy's wolf could start healing itself...she just hoped it was enough. For the second time that day, and the fourth time in her whole life Cora blacked out again.


Finn walked over to his mate in human form, he didn't care that he was naked. He picked her up cradling her like a baby to his chest. Happy that she was no longer bleeding, he still a silent thank you to Cora for that. "I'm taking Cora's car, we need to get Envy to a healer fast. Are you okay to handle Cora?" Finn looked down at Rule waiting for an answer so he could leave.

Rule nodded at Finn, "Go get her help." He choked out as he watched his bloodied and broken sister be carried off with Finn. He was so thankful that they had found her before Pax could do something worse to her. Rule leaned down and picked up his own unconscious mate and carried her out of the cellar. He tried hard to not look at the lifeless form of his fallen friend. He decided they could take care of the body tomorrow.
