I heard Dead Ever After will be the last Sookie Stackhouse. I have mixed feelings about that. Love the character, but I feel like Charlaine Harris has been dragging it along for the last couple of books now.

New book coming out for dystopian fiction fans! (June 4, 2013) Here's the book trailer. Pass the test to be chosen to rebuild the world. The test is all. Getting ready for Regents or SATs? AP tests? This might put it all in perspective! :)

"The Interestings" by Meg Wolitzer

A new release about of group of teens coming of age within the particular parameters of a certain type of NYC culture in the 1970's. I give it mixed reviews, not really sure if the reviewing should be left to someone not as familiar with the territory....certainly some doubtful plot turns....a famous Joan Baez-like folk singer becomes a permanent Moonie in Vermont because her music is 'new' to them? A rich girl keeps an implausible secret from her husband for 20 years? Certainly the strain on friendships when some become successful beyond their wildest dreams doing something they love while others struggle to survive on their backup plan has a certain stinging relevancy for creative types all over. The characters have a forgiveable stereotypical quality, though they make themselves heard. But overall, I think you had to be there. (less) [edit
