Hand Print discussion

Charlotte stumbled into the market, almost knocking over a basket of apples. "Damn!" She muttered as she stubbed her toe.

"Are you alright?" Avalon had just snuck out of the castle, she was on her way to meet Jasper at the well. She walked over to steady the basket of apples before they fell. She was wearing her maid disguise, no one knew that she was the princess.

"Fine as I'll ever be." Charlotte sighed and pushed her hair out of her face. Not that it would help her see at all though.

Avalon frowned, she had heard of this Warrior, Charlotte. She seemed to be drunk. Avalon sighed, "Do you need help getting anywhere...you seem to be drunk."

"I am perfectly okay!" Charlotte raised her voice and swayed a bit. Maybe not, but she hated people pitying her. Being blind didn't make her completely helpless.

"I am not pitying you, I am trying to help. Those are two different things, so tell me where you need to go and I will help you get there." Avalon told her sternly, while pursing her lips.

"Okay. Okay okay okay.... Okay. I'll tell you. But it's a secret." Charlotte motioned for Avalon to bring her ear closer.

Avalon stared at her for a moment, before cautiously leaning closer to her like she asked. "Yes?" she asked in a slight whisper. Avalon waited and waited, yet she refused to answer. "Fine, fine, do not tell me...I was only trying to help." Avalon frowned as she walked away she was late for her meeting with Jasper now.

"I'm going to hell!" Charlotte threw her head back and laughed as Avalon left. Maybe she needed to sober up a bit. She turned and left, stumbling through the crowd, lost and unable to see her way.
