The Scion The Scion is the key for the Searchers to win the war. The Key for Bosque Mar to be killed, and basically the key to every. In old texts regarding the Keepers and Searchers, the Scion was prophesied to be the key to all. The win of the war. The Scion can free that Guardians from the Keepers and restore peace, once and for all.
In the books, Shay (Seamus) Doran in the Scion, and he holds a black cross tattoo on the back of his neck. Guardians, Keepers, and Searchers can see this marking, but Shay can not. So, the Scion doesn't know who he/she is until it's all forced upon him/her. The role for the Scion is reserved until further notice.
