The Cross is the weapon that will end all war between Keepers and Searchers.
The Tattoo The scion, who has not come to play yet, will bear a small (almost unnoticable) cross tattoo somewhere on their body. In the books, Shay has his on the back of his neck. Everyone can see the cross besides the Scion. That means, this marking is a sign for all who seek him, but the Scion doesn't know it's there at all.
The Real Cross The cross is they key to ending war between Searchers and Keepers, destroying the Keepers and Bosque Mar, and freeing the Guardians from their lives as slaves. The Cross is broken in four different division. In a different topic, you will see that the Searchers are divided into four sections. Well, like that, the Cross is broken into four equal parts, and scattered around the Sacred Sites. These sites are heavily protected by the unknowing Guardians, order of our dear Keepers. In Vail, the sacred site that one of the Cross pieces is hidden is called Haldis. It's in a deep deep cave on a mountain side.
When all four pieces of the Cross are gathered and pieces together, it provides the key.
Here's the catch! The Cross can only be touched by the Scion. If anyone else dares to even lay a pinky finger on one of pieces or the whole thing, they are burned severely where the blade touches their skin. The Scion in the only one who can bear the Cross. The Scion will win the war.
((Guardians in the roleplay will be guarding the cross piece in Haldis, since the Scion hasn't come yet. ))
