Most vampire books are stemy PNRs. Immortal rules reads more like a dysopian or urban fantasy. There is a little YA romance but it def doesn't steal the show.

Not at all. The story is about Allie surviving in the world anyway she can and an internal struggle that is always pushing and pulling her.

Unfortunately, between school and starting a new job, I fell behind on my reading. I plan to finish

I recently read a kind of sci-fi dystopian book called Inverted World by Christopher Priest. It's a recognized genre classic and rightfully so. I thought it was excellent. Probably the best twist ending I've ever read.

I just finished Fragments and Crewel. Probably finishing a book ( not in this category Elysian ) before moving on to another. But I have been meaning to read the Immortal Rules, so that will probably be on my list for next book!

I started Never Let Me Go , by Kazuo Ishiguro over the weekend. So far so good but it feels familiar.
I am currently reading Breathe by Sarah Crossan. I just finished reading Gone by Micheal Grant and will start reading, Hunger, the next book in the series Soon.
