Kat pulled out yet another biology book and placed it on top of the pile she was already holding. The pile wobbled and she wobbled with it to keep it balanced. She breathed a sigh of relief when they didn't topple to the ground and made her way to a nearby table. She set them down carefully then reached into her messenger bag and grabbed a hair tie. She then used the tie to make a sloppy bun on the top of her bun as she sat down to get started on the books.

She had gotten through almost half of her books when a thump startled her. She bared her teeth out of pure instinct but recoiled when she saw who it was. Kallahan Witchlight grinned down at her with a sadistic glint in his eyes. "Well if it isn't the wolf named Kat." He said, as if it were an inside joke. Which it was, sort of but not in the way his tone implied. "What do you want Kallahan?" She asked calmly, having recovered from her initial shock. It took more than the likes of him to ruffle her fur for more than a few seconds.

Kallahan's face darkened and he grabbed her chair and turned it so that she was facing him. "I've told you countless times, when we're alone call me Kal." His face lightened considerably and he smiled at her with an unbalanced look in his eyes. "So try again Kitty." She continued to gaze calmly at him though her insides roiled in fear. She knew that he could be a lot less civil than he was now. She felt a small lump in her throat and asked again, "what do you want Kal?" He grinned, "better. And I don't want anything, just visiting the alpha of my pack."

Kat knew she would regret it but she said it anyway. "It's not your pack yet." His eyes flashed and he slammed his hands on the table on either side of her so that she was trapped by his arms. "It will be soon, then you're mine." She could feel his breath tickling her cheek as she turned her head to avoid eye contact. She had to keep her temper in check, she might be given to the wraiths as punishment if she attacked him the way she wanted to. He was too close and was only pressing closer. She bit her tongue and kept her eyes trained on the book shelves, knowing he would eventually get tired of his game and leave her alone.

Kal pulled away and removed his arms. "I'll see you around Kitty." He said in a voice which chilled her to the bone. Once his back was turned she bared her fangs at him until he rounded a corner. Once he was gone she turned back to her books but didn't feel the usual pull towards them. She swallowed and gathered them up again, this time to return them to their shelves.

((I have a question. :P Would you want to rp Kal with my charrie, or do you want her here with Kat at the library? Or not any of those. Haha))

(It doesn't matter to me, either way works. I'm still trying to get used to Kal's mindset, I've never really had a character like him before so the practice may help)

((Okay! I'd like Ariana to rp with him. :) Since she's your beta, I wanted her and Kat to be good friends, but we can rp them later. :) Where'd you like to go?))

Kat left the library at a brisk pace. Kal always set her on edge and she wanted to get out of her human skin. It would be so nice to run through the forest, work out the stress he put on her, maybe find a nice juicy rabbit. She broke into a jog as she neared the forest.
