Ivan (ivanski711) | 7 comments In the book "the outsiders" Ponyboy's attitudetowards darry has changed in many ways. For example after the insedint at the church Pony boy views him as more of a heroic character. Another example is after being told that Darry risked his life to save Johny by going into the church to get him, Ponyboy notices that Darry realy cares about Johny. These two example show how Ponybo's bad viewing of Darry has changed dramaticaly to a good view in chapter 6.

Matthew | 11 comments Ponyboy's attitude towards Darry has changed in two main ways. One example is that Darry started to cry when he saw Ponyboy. This made Ponyboy realize that Darry cared for him and wouldn't want to see Ponyboy get hurt. This shows that Ponyboy's attitude change because he knows that Darry would do anything for Ponyboy.

Kimora Irby | 5 comments In the book The Outsiders Ponyboy's attitude tworads Darry has changed in many ways. For example after the church mishap when darry and johnny went into the church to save the kids and risk there lives, ponyboy saw them as being heroic. Another example is when darry started to cry when he saw ponyboy at the hospital. Both examples show how Ponyboy's attitude towards Dally changed.

Elva C. | 13 comments The attitude Ponyboy gives towards Darry change at the end of Chapter 6 for many reasons. For example, Ponyboy now understands more on why Darry is being tough on him. After their parents died, Darry didn't shed a tear. This shows that Darry really cares about Ponyboy. Another example is Ponyboy gained more respect. Since he saw Darry cry that Ponyboy might be hurt, Ponyboy gained more respect to Darry. This shows that Ponyboy now knows that Darry isn't being tough on him for no reason. Darry wants to protect. He didn't want to lose another family member. And since Ponyboy doesn't like Darry, now Ponyboy is respecting him now.

Monica | 14 comments Ponyboy's attitude towards Darry changed by the end of chapter 6 in many different ways. One way is that when Ponyboy saw his whole family, Sodapop and Darry after the incident when the whole church got on fire. In the hospital where he saw them, he had found out Darry was crying, tears running down his face, no sound at all. This shows Darry really cared about Ponyboy even when he yells at him a lot more than anyone else. Darry actually does this because he doesn't want to lose anyone else again ever since he lost his parents and his popularity at school. Another example is that Ponyboy thought about all the times when Darry had to sacrifice everything in order to provide things for the greaser family. Darry was a great student at school, and he had to inhale all this pain in order to achieve his maturality. This shows the pain Darry is feeling and the responsibility he had to feel to care for the family. In addition, keep in mind Darry is not a full-grown adult yet, he still is a teenager, and since he is the oldest kid in the family, he had to sacrifice his life in order to keep track of Ponyboy's grades and his career.

Justin Yu | 10 comments In the novel The Outsiders by S.E Hinton, Ponyboy's attitude towards Darry changed. One way Ponyboy's attitude changed was when Ponyboy finally got to see his brothers for quite some time. He was starting to worry. But even after running away for a couple of days, he still cared about Darry as well as Darry cared about Ponyboy. This shows that Ponyboy's attitude toward Darry changed. Another example of Ponyboy's attitude toward Darry has changed through the end of chapter 6. Darry was sorry for hitting Ponyboy but Ponyboy didn't care. He was happy he got to see his brothers again.

Mark | 5 comments Ponyboy's attitude towards Darry changed at the end of chapter 6 in many reasons. One way is Ponyboy became friendly towards Darry. This shows that Ponyboy is starting to understand why Darry is being so mean to him so he is going to be nicer to show that he understands. Another reason is Ponyboy now has more respect for Darry because he now sees what Darry has sacrificed for Ponyboy and Sodapop. This tells me that Ponyboy has more respect for Darry and he now feels better that he finally understands Darry and he knows what he has gone threw.

Jack Brill | 12 comments Ponyboys attitude towards Darry has changed at the end of chapter 6 for many reasons. For example when Ponyboy. Had seen Soda and Darry after the accident when the whole church was lit on fire. In the hospital where he saw them he had saw that Darry. This shows that pony yo loves and respects Darry more because it showed that he cared about ponyboy. Another example how ponyboys attitude changed toward Darry is, when Darry and soda showed up to the hospital and made ponyboy feel good. This shows that ponyboy appreciated that they came to visit him in the hospital and was worried about him.

Michael Vu | 9 comments Ponyboy's attitude toward darry changed alot becuase he finds out alot about the reasions behind his actions. For example he see's darry cry which is VERY rare becuase darry is that type of person. This shows that darry isn't just bossing ponyboy for the fun of it but he really cares for him. Aother example is when ponyboy also see's that darry cares for him so it chages the way ponyboy see's him. this shows how ponyboy and soda are the only things left in his life ever since their parents died and he only wants the best for him so he sets the bars high (idiom :D) for ponyboy becuase soda droped out of school but its not too late for ponyboy.

Ponyboy's attitude towards Darry have changed by the end of chapter 6 in some different ways. He was angry at Darry at first and then Ponyboy showed some love and respect for Darry at last. For example, Ponyboy was away hiding in a church, in order to avoid being caught by the cops. Ponyboy stated that he always dreamed of going into a country, but not expected it to be so uncomfortable because he didn't have his family, including Darry, with him. This shows that Ponyboy misses Darry because he is uncomfortable without him. From this, you can conclude that he is starting to forgive Darry and giving some love and respect back. Another example is when Ponyboy came out of the hospital and saw Darry. Ponyboy apologized to Darry and then he heard Darry crying. This shows how Ponyboy forgives Darry and Darry started to cry for Ponyboy. Darry and Ponyboy showed the love for each other, which means how Ponyboy had changed from being angry at Darry to showing love and respect.

You're thinking of Dally, it should be Darry
