It's lovely to meet you, Lorna.
We've had a couple of Irish crime novels for our group reads and they weren't half bad. I'm not a huge fan of crime novels but I'll most likely be reading them again soon.
I have a Kobo, and, although I don't plan on giving up paper books any time soon, I'm a real convert to ebooks. It's already paid for itself with free classics.
I still love turning pages, though, and the smell of a new book is something beautiful.

Hi LornaWelcome to the group.
I'm really loving Crime / Thrillers at the mo, especially the Scandanavian ones, big Jo Nesbo fan :-)
Kate
Thanks for the welcomes Declan and Kate!Yes, nothing can compare browsing for books in a physical bookshop. They're sadly getting fewer and fewer here in Sligo.
I have been watching the Scandinavian crime dramas on BBC4 but haven't got around to reading any Scandinavian crime novels yet.
I have a huge TBR pile, both physical and e-book. I'm a big fan of the Merrily Watkins mysteries by Phil Rickman and his latest, To Dream of The Dead is next to be read!

I'm the very same. I have around fifteen books that I've already bought, and couple of library loans, too. That's not including the the huge number of books I've promised myself, and others, I'd soon get around to reading.

Hi Lorna - great to see other writers join the group. Good luck with the book -the reception you have got seems to be really positive. It's about time Irish crime took the mantle from the Scandinavians! Caroline

Only You
I'm a genealogist and bookworm. I went through an Irish crime fiction phase but I've just started Lionheart by Sharon Penman, one of my favourite authors.
I bought a Kindle just before Christmas but I definitely won't be giving up on paper books!
Nice to meet you all!
