Here are the upcoming releases we are excited about:

Okay - right here is supposed to be a list of upcoming releases but I've been slackin on it lately so my list is completely out of date!

Keep posting which books you're looking forward too and I'll add them to Post #2. I'll also let you know when I've got the list updated again.

Shanon, this comes out on 29th September, i'm so excited!"

Goodness - I have it on my To Read shelf but completely forgot to put it here! I am excited about this one too as I LOVE the Kate Daniels series. It doesn't say if On The Edge will be a series - but with the trends of today I bet it will be.

Thanks for the link Cinnamon. I add books without descriptions all the time if the author is someone that I've heard is really good or if other friends are adding it - but it's nice to know what to expect :)

J.D. Stroube I know of a few books that are coming out within the next few months, that I thought would compliment your list...Hopefully, you guys will enjoy some of them. :)
Two new books by Rachel Hawthorne are coming out on July 1st.
Den of Shadows by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes on August 11th
Tempted by P.C. Cast on October 27th
First Lords Fury by Jim Butcher on November 24th

I've never heard of Rachel Hawthorne before but her series looks interesting. Have you read the first book, Moonlight?

Thanks for the additions to our list!

I read "moonlight" when it first came out. I thought is was fairly good considering that it was her first book. It's much more innocent than some of the YA books I have read, which is good if you need to buy a book for a teen relative...but I enjoyed it. There do not seem to be many YA book about shifters and werewolves, and it was a refreshing read. I'm excited to see what she does with the series now that she has begun it!

Kristen Harvey A Deep Kiss of Winter by Kresley Cole (#8 in Immortals After Dark) comes out 10-24 this year.

message 26: by Kathryn (new)

Kathryn (kathry) I think the release date for Alpaha and Omega 2 is incorrect on the list. I wish it were sooner.

Has anyone managed to pick up copies of Strange Brew or Eyes Like Stars? I was tempted to nominate ELS for our YA group read but I wasn't sure how everyone would feel about a brand new book.

AH! Haven't updated this list in a LONG time. I'll work on it this weekend and get it all fixed. Sometimes dates change or GoodReads has them wrong. I also have been known to make an error one or two or ten times is all :)

Thanks for letting me know Kathryn I'll get it fixed.

If anyone knows of any good books getting released that aren't on the list already let me know and I'll get them added.

I haven't read either Strange Brew or Eyes Like Start but would love to read Eyes Like Stars. I just need to get my hands on it.

Here's this month's and next months releases (that I know of & you have posted here). You can find this same list as well as the rest of 2009 & 2010 in the first 3 posts of this thread.

It's interesting that December only has one book coming out...

EDIT: Removed list and links to books

message 32: by Kathryn (new)

Kathryn (kathry) Thanks for the updated list Shanon! Really appreciate it! And that is pretty strange about December, especially considering it is gift giving season:)

(I added it to our list - thanks Uniquely Moi)

You're very welcome!

Yes, there are so many! I enjoyed the series, though it started getting a bit repetitive. Now, though, in the past few books the series is taking another direction: the females are taking on a more dominant role which always makes for good times when dealing with the stubborn Alpha Male Carpathians.

My favorite of her series' is the Ghostwalkers, though almost PNR, not Vamp, Were or Witch.

Yeah, I stopped reading the series b/c I was tired of the females always being so submissive. I couldn't stand it! I'm glad that she is switching it up now... I'm going to have to delve back into the series!

*****SPOILER*******

Yes, the females start taking on a more active role in fighting the vampires, finding the reason the females can't have babies, etc... it's rounding out very well.

It's the last several books that we see stronger females....detectives, huntresses, etc...

message 38: by Sandy (new)

Sandy There is a new author with a book coming out on Sept 1st. Rosemary and Rue by Seanan McGuire which sounds interesting.

October “Toby” Daye, a changeling who is half human and half fae, has been an outsider from birth. After getting burned by both sides of her heritage, Toby has denied the Faerie world, retreating to a “normal” life. Unfortunately for her, the Faerie world has other ideas…

The murder of Countess Evening Winterrose pulls Toby back into the fae world. Unable to resist Evening’s dying curse, which binds her to investigate, Toby must resume her former position as knight errant and renew old alliances. As she steps back into fae society, dealing with a cast of characters not entirely good or evil, she realizes that more than her own life will be forfeited if she cannot find Evening’s killer.

I have 6 books in my current series that will be released end of July & in August. I'm excited to read them but that means I'll be engulfed in new releases next month & sometimes I like something new.

message 44: by Elvia (new)

Sorry guys - it's been a while since I updated the list... the excel file I keep all the info on has suddenly decided it's no good and pops up an error saying "file corrupt - unable to open" for some reason. I'm just now resigning to the fact that I'll have to remake the file so I'll be working on it this week. Expect to see an updated list next week sometime :)

In the mean time feel free to add any books that are coming out!
