Sidney Memorial Public Library discussion

Where is your favorite place to read? I love to sit on the couch with my Yorkie on one side and my Chihuahua on the other. Also, I especially love reading in Bob & Pat Brown's kitchen in Saranac Lake.

When is your favorite time to read? I will read any chance I get! However, I do love reading early in the morning ... when everything is peaceful and quiet.

Funny you should mention Harry Potter. When the third book came out, I remember settling down in this camping-type lounge chair in my bedroom and settling in for the long haul. Nowadays, I read with my feet up, no longer curled up in a cozy chair the way I did pre-daughter. I also find that reading in the morning after my husband has left for work and my daughter is at day care, is the most peaceful time. I probably read twice as much in that twenty minutes before I need to get ready for work than I do in an entire weekend when they are home. :-)

Ok, I'm late to this. Blame it on the new library website work that's been distracting me.

I also enjoy reading in the morning. I'm usually up a bit before six and after checking email & twitter, I read for an hour or so. It's a great way to start the day. Plus, if I have a good book, it makes waking up early easier.

As to where...it doesn't really matter. My favorite place would probably be on the deck at my old house surrounded by my big garden. Even though I have a balcony at my apartment here is Sidney, it just isn't quite the same.
