Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) | 11 comments I thought I would start a thread for artists who work in media, such as pencils, ink, pastels.

Jim (jimmaclachlan) | 1463 comments Cool. I like the sketch of Royce. I'm terrible at drawing, but mostly just do plans for myself, so no one sees.

Sharon does nice pen sketches, too.

Foxtower | 427 comments I haven't done much painting or drawing in about nine months... good for you for making the effort!

(Mom needs to give you more tips!)

Jim (jimmaclachlan) | 1463 comments Does anyone like the adult coloring books? My wife & daughter both enjoy them. I gave my wife 4 of them I found on Amazon. They're full of naughty sayings & were a big hit on Xmas. Everyone passed them around chuckling. She's a school bus driver & really wants to color them up as flash cards for some of the kids.

Cindy | 15 comments Everyone in my family likes them across 5 generations my Mom is 83, me 56, my sister65, her daughter 30, and that great grand-daugter 17. It's nice to have more than 1 if you tire of a style.

Jim (jimmaclachlan) | 1463 comments That's neat. My girls have mostly horse ones until this batch. I see my wife has one out on the dining room table now. She's recovering from sinus surgery so isn't up to much. I know it relaxes her.

I have my own set of colored markers, but I generally use them on wood - toys & scroll saw puzzles I make out in the shop. I cover them with poly & they're a good, nontoxic stain for small items.
