Your Thoughts On Music

Music? I love it because...well, I don't really know. Music is just my life and its gotten me through a lot. *shrug* I feed from it.

And mostly the lip sinking at the gym: people looking at me like I'm crazy and demented LOL!
And seriously I'm thinking that I am going CRAY CRAY and my name is Madi Graceffa (A.K.A- I'm now a Joey Graceffa lover) I'm a hungercraft nerd at heart :)

Me?
Music is a huge part of my life. It has helped me get rid of stress by playing it(though at times it may add to the stress).
The music that I listen to almost always tells a story that either makes me feel better, leaves me pondering on it all day.

"Music is what feelings sound like."
"Music is moral law. It gives soul to the universe., wings to the mind, flight to imagination, and cgarm and gaiety tomlife and everything."
"Music washes away ftom the soul, the dust of everyday life."
"One good thing of music is when it hits you, you feel no pain."
"Music speaks what cannot be spoken. Soothes the mind and gives it a rest. Heals the heart and makes it whole. Flows from heaven to the soul."
Music inspires me, makes me happy or sad or angry. Music touches me in many ways. Music is the soundtrack to our lives.
I love music! Most all kinds, though I really can't handle much country or pop! I love live music, although I really can't handle the concert scene much. I pretty ,inch can only make one concert a year. Of course this concert is a big one. I always go to the Austin City Limits Festival. It is the first weekend of October this year, I am sooooo excited. Over the years I have seen some amazing bands at ACL and this year will be no different.
My biggest peeve about ACL is that it is too big for my body to make it to every band that I want to see. Like I will want to see a band at one venue and the next band I want to see is all the way over and there are 10s of thousands of people and I just can't make it through the masses. So I generally stay at one stage most of the day and see everyone at that stage. In the past this has introduced me to some awesome music, fingers crossed that it will be the same this year.

With the crazy things I've done and the the horrible things that have happened to me I found comfort on song....
I've been to therapy blah blah no offense to anyone that goes and it does help I'm glad it does help you.... But it never helped me.
So I started listening to more and more music and writing sheet music for my violin.... I noticed all of a sudden one day that I hadn't cried in over two weeks....
BAnd before that I was upset all the time, either verging on ADD & hysterics or being almost catatonic at times...
Music I believe heals my soul, makes me forget bad shit just for a while but then it can also remind me of a time when I was truly happy..
I believe so strongly in the healing power of music....suicidal right after my attack I was going through with it and everything when I heard a song on the radio and it made so much sense to me.. I was blown away by how I felt when I listened to the word and instruments .. I felt like he was speaking directly to me..
Long story short, music saved my life..,. Let The Music Bleed!!

Music does heal the soul, and since you have found your medicine then keep taking it and go with it!!

I agree, Angelique. Music is good for the soul. I dose myself regularly.

Music Boutilier....has a nice ring to it.
Now I want to listen to Linkin Park!
music can change/set your mood/save your day

I like your phrase Mar. I'd like to add to it: MUSIC IS THE EXPRESSION OF THE SOUL PUT INTO SOUND
Makes me feel better
