wanderer (chloemai) Lyddy literally felt as if she were slowly dying. If she had the choice she would have cut her insides out and dumped them right in the garbage already it was that bad. It was if something was trying to claw its way out of her. She was sprawled out across the sofa , slightly hunched over into a fetal position her face scrunched up into a mixture of pain, arms wrapped around her stomach as she groaned, burying her head into a pillow. She had firmly refused for Mason to come over on the terms that she looked absolutely awful. Her skin was pale a drawn out, her head was pounding, eyes red rimmed from crying and cheeks damp from tears. Overall it wasn't exactly a pretty picture, and more than once she had had to go to hospital just for 'her time' in the month. Damn body. Why couldn't she have just been born a guy. Everything would be so much easier.

message 3: by Antonia (new)

Antonia (adf7793) Mason timidly knocked on the door, he didn't know what he was getting himself into. But he was willing to risk it for his mate, he brought her chocolate, and a giant stuffed wolf that looked like his own wolf. Girls liked those kinds of things, right? He certainly hoped so. He waited for her to open the door. If she actually opened the door. Lyddy had made it perfectly clear that she didn't want to see him right now. But. Here he was anyways.

message 4: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) Lyddy's eyes had been fluttering and at the sound of the knock at the door they flashed open, causing another groan to emit from her mouth as she forced herself to roll off of the couch. "Now coming." She managed to croak out, but as she made it half way to the door she realised who's scent it was and stopped in her tracks. Mason? He couldn't be here. She had asked him not to come. Oh crap she looked an absolute state. She sighed in resignment as she dragged herself to the door, rubbing her eyes as she swung it open, having to tilt her head back to look at him. Although instantly her gaze then shot to the chocolate and she found herself reaching for it, having been low on her chocolate supplies she couldn't help be thankful. "What're you doing here Mase?" She croaked out, one hand still cradling her stomach.

message 5: by Antonia (new)

Antonia (adf7793) Mason smiled, how in the world could she think that she looked horrible. She didn't she was beautiful, even when she thought she looked like a mess. Without a word he picked her up bridal style cradling her to his chest and carried her to the couch. He sat down, Lyddy was lying in his lap, and the stuffed wolf was being used as a pillow. "Mine." He murmured as he pulled her closer to him. "You look beautiful, and I don't think that I will ever believe you when you say you look horrible again." He informed her, his voice was completely serious.

message 6: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) Lyddy felt herself being lifted up into his arms, and although she was about to object she found the position quite comfortable, so instead simply held the chocolates close to her as if they were some kind of baby while he carried her over to the couch, feeling herself being set down again, now lying in his lap with the stuffed wolf, yawning slightly as she did so. "I do look awful. You're just trying to be nice because we're mates." She informed him rather bluntly as she ripped open the chocolates, popping a piece into her mouth. "I do appreciate it though." She said somewhat tiredly, lying back against his chest. "I feel like crap." She mumbled, letting her eyes flutter closed for a moment.

message 7: by Antonia (new)

Antonia (adf7793) "No, I'm not just trying to be nice. I'm telling you the truth, I would never lie to you Lyddy." He kissed her cheek, and began nuzzling the side of her neck. "I'm sorry you feel bad, would you like for me to get you something?" He responded quickly, hating the thought of his mate in any kind of pain, or discomfort. He saw her eye close and began lightly rubbing her stomach, hoping that it would help her. Even if it was just a little bit.

message 8: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) "Mhmm. I bet anybody else who saw me would be on my side." Lyddy said decidedly. She had yet to realise that in actual fact her stuttering around him alone had ceased, hell, she was to tired to notice. No matter though, once she was feeling a little better again she would probably notice and then there would be celebrations all around again. Having been a stutterer from a young age it was considered a big step for her. "Just don't leave." She breathed softly her tensed muscles relaxing as he began rubbing her stomach. "And keep doing that as well." She murmured softly, breathing out a sigh of relief.

message 9: by Antonia (new)

Antonia (adf7793) "I'll never leave." Mason promised her, it was one promise he intended to keep, or die trying to. Lyddy already meant the world to him. He continued to rub his mate's stomach, happy that it was helping her. He started to place kisses gently all over her face, smiling at the look of contentment on her face. "It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, only me. Besides, I would kill anyone who dared to agree with you." Mason stated firmly, while planting a long kiss on her forehead.

message 10: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) Lyddy simply nodded her head, shifting slightly as she did so and turning into him managing a soft smile managing to find its way onto her lips as he felt his lips placing kisses on her face and after popping another chocolate in her mouth, her hand went searching for his and eventually found his spare hand, linking their fingers together gently and squeezing it slightly, although as another wave of cramps rolled over her that squeeze turned into an iron grip as she grinded her teeth together, having to banish the tears from her eyes as she did so. She managed a forced smile this time at his words, leaning up to press a kiss to his jaw. "You know you don't have to be here. I wouldn't want to be hanging around with me right now if I were you." She managed to strain out.

message 11: by Antonia (last edited Apr 28, 2013 03:20AM) (new)

Antonia (adf7793) Mason flinched slightly as she sqeezed his had, she had it in a vice grip. He knew that if he was a human she would have broken his fingers. "I know I don't have to be here, I want to be here Lyddy. I love spending time with you, even when you would rather I wasn't here." He kissed the top of her head softly, pulling her closer while still rubbing her stomach. He didn't think this was so bad, she had told him that she wasn't in the best mood. Well, during her...time of the month? He amused that was the proper terminology for it. But she was wrong, he was happy that he came to see her. He was also happy that she let him in.

message 12: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) Lyddy felt him flinch slightly, having not even realised she was squeezing his hand so hard. "Sorry." She murmured quietly, forcing herself to loosen her grip on his hand as she flickered her gaze up to him. "It's not that I didn't want to spend time with you, y'know? I just...This isn't one of my better moments." She admitted, shifting slightly and wincing slightly as pain rioted over her body. She let him move her closer, the calming motions on her stomach soothing as she yawned slightly, wanting to take her mind off of, well, off of the pain mainly. "Mase? What's it like to shift for the first time?" she asked quietly.

message 13: by Antonia (new)

Antonia (adf7793) Mason chuckled, "It's okay, I'm a big boy, I can take the pain. Especially if it makes you feel better, Lyddy." he assured her with honesty, "I understand, but I want to see you in all of your moments. To sound girly and loosely quote Marilyn Monroe, if I can't handle you at your worst. Then I don't deserve you at your best." Mason smiled down at her. At her question, his smile turned into a frown. He hadn't known that she hadn't shifted yet. His thoughts traveled back to his first shift, he shuttered. He wasn't going to lie to her, "I'm not going to lie. It's painful...it was the worst pain I've ever been in my entire life. Every bone in your body has to break before you can shift, it can take hours..." He sighed, he hated telling her that, but it was better she know the truth.

message 14: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) "Yea, but I don't like hurting you." Lyddy admitted quietly, although in a silent thanks reached up to kiss his jaw lightly before snuggling back down beside him. She found herself smiling as he recited the quote, chuckling slightly as he ended it. "You know that's probably one of my favourite quotes. I'm just happy that I have somebody willing to fill that spot now." She confessed, eyes glittering as she gazed up at him. Her lips pursed at the frown on his face, and she chewed on her bottom lip slightly. "Sorry I didn't tell you before, its just...I'm 18 and I haven't shifted before. Not exactly something to brag about." At his description her face turned into one of horror, because truthfully she had been feeling her wolf a lot more recently, more than usual anyway, and she didn't know if it was because she had found Mase, or the fact that she was going to shift soon. Maybe a bit of both, but after this information she wanted to hold it off for as long as possible. Maybe she could just be a non shifting were wolf...? That sounded like a much better prospect to having all of her bones break in all honesty.

message 15: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) ((Back soon, just gonna hop in the shower.c:))

message 16: by Antonia (new)

Antonia (adf7793) "After the first time it doesn't hurt anymore. I'm sorry that I told you...I just didn't want to keep something like that from you. Don't be sorry for not telling me, I understand. Everyone has secrets that it is hard for them to tell anyone." Mason would know, he has secrets of his own. Everyone did...but he was so ashamed of his past, and his mistakes. He never brought it up, he hated thinking about it. He never wanted Lyddy to find out, he couldn't deal with the look of disappointment she would give him. Anyone else it wouldn't really matter, but with Lyddy it did matter. Her opinion was all that mattered to him now.

message 17: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) "I'd rather know and be prepared rather than not know what to expect at all." Lyddy reassured him, idly running her hand through her hair and breathing out slowly closing and opening her eyes slowly at the mention of secrets. "I have a few, you'll probably find them out eventually." she informed him with a light shrug, although she was terrified for him to find out about her parents. Not that she could remember much of it. The healers of the pack had said that her mind had put a block on the memories because they hurt to much to bare, and that she was unable to handle them. She wondered of she ever would be able to deal with them, if she would be able to get them back.

message 18: by Antonia (new)

Antonia (adf7793) "Same here..." Mason admitted sheepishly, raking his hand through his hair. "I'll be there throughout your entire first shift...if you shift. If not, I just want you to know that it doesn't matter to me. Not at all." He tried to stress the point, he didn't want her to think that he would be ashamed of her. That could never happen, ever. "So are you feeling any better? Can I get you some more chocolate, or something?" He smiled down at her, wanting her to be as comfortable as possible. He randomly thought about how he was glad that Lucas wasn't there. It would be rather odd to be holding her like this in front of her older brother.

message 19: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) She nodded her head silently, listening to the gentle beat of his heart of which calmed her considerably, nodding at his words of reassurance. "Thank you..." She murmured softly, in all honesty she didn't know if she'd even be able to make it through the change with this new found information. Lucas refused to tell her much about the shift, she now knew why of course. "I feel a little better." She admitted, pursing her lips as she did so. "I really appreciate the chocolate." She admitted, taking another bite. "I think I'm just going to nip to the toilet." She said quite quickly before rising from the couch and hurrying off in the direction of the bathroom. She returned about 15 minutes later, muttering apologises as she did so. "Sorry I took so long." She murmured, having changed her joggers for a pair of leggings.

message 20: by Antonia (new)

Antonia (adf7793) "You're welcome," he murmured quietly as he licked a spot of melted chocolate from her lower lip. He pulled away when she informed him she had to use the restroom. His wolf huffed in annoyance that he hadn't kissed her. Mason fought the urge to roll his eyes. His wolf wanted Lyddy, Mason did too, but his wolf felt that without his mark on her she would be in danger. He watch her leave with a slight frown, he didn't like her being away from him. Mason grinned when she walked back in, she had taken longer that he wanted, but he didn't mind, "Don't be sorry, you have nothing to apologize for." He pulled her down to his lap once again, and kissed her cheek. He didn't plan on doing anything besides holding her and being supportive to day, his mate was in pain. He hated that, but there was nothing he could do to take the pain away so he just had to deal with it. Which was easier said than done.

message 21: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) Lyddy let herself be pulled back onto his lap, snuggling herself into him as she did so. "I just took some tablets so I should be fine for a little bit." She informed him quietly. Her wolf was scratching at her mind in an irritating manner, and despite the fact that she desperately tried to banish the feeling, it was like a gnat or something was buzzing around her ear, that's how annoying her wolf felt right now. It probably didn't help matters that she was irritable as it was. She turned over so her stomach was pressed up against his, her chest to his and their noses just barely touching. Now feeling a little better thanks to the medication she laid a soft kiss against his lips before pulling back slightly to make sure that was alright with him.

message 22: by Antonia (new)

Antonia (adf7793) Mason smiled at her before pulling her back down to his demanding lips. He was glad that she had kissed him, he hadn't wanted to make that move first until she felt better. He had seen his parents fight enough times to realize that in a situation like this you always let the female make the first move. He rubbed her lower back, coaxing her to open up the kiss for him. He pulled away from her lips, trailing his kisses down her neck to her collarbone. He brushed the spot lightly with his teeth, nipping at it enough to leave a faint mark. He smiled when he seen his temporary mark on her flesh, and he couldn't wait to mark her for real, one day.

message 23: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) Lyddy smiled lightly against his lips as they met in another kiss, this time a more passionate, lingering one that set her body on fire and made her muscles tingle. She could remember when her parents had been this way, they had been true mates of course, and she had always craved to have something like theirs. Now she had that, but she didn't have them. That's what hurt the most in all honesty. She just wanted them back. Instead she focused herself on her handsome mate beneath her, parting her lips slightly before lightly nipping his bottom lip, her breath hitching slightly as he marked only lightly, the sensitive area that would one day be marked permanently by him. Deciding to return the favour she mimicking his actions, lightly marking the flesh that she would one day have the pleasure of scarring, if you will, for good.

message 24: by Antonia (new)

Antonia (adf7793) Mason pulled back, his eyes golden, indicating his current state of arousal. He took a deep breath, trying to push the thoughts to ones not so...indecent. Suddenly he felt some intense sadness, which he knew wasn't coming from him. "Lyddy, are you okay?" He tilted her chin up, so that way her face would meet his. He pulled her ever closer to his body and nuzzled her, "It's okay..." He didn't want her to feel like she had to tell him anything. He for one understood the need for secrets, the past was nothing but painful for him. He didn't want her to feel his pain on top of her's, it wouldn't be right. Nor would it be fair.

message 25: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) Lyddy's own eyes had clearly lightened a couple of shades to a pale brown colour, sharply contrasting with her usually chocolate brown eyes and. Verging on the point of being gold. Although in some ways she desperately wanted to mark him, in others she wanted to hold off until the mating. That had always been part of her little plan anyway. Until recently the marking and the mating came as a package. But she wasn't about to object of he wanted, that was for sure. As he pulled back, simply to ask of she was ok she slowly felt that sadnes crawl back to her as she averted her gaze. Damn hormones. One minute she could be indescribably happy, the next on the edge of tears just because of a few words. Lyddy let him pull her closer, her arms lightly wrapping around his neck as much as she could, before resting her head in the crook of his neck, closing her eyes. "I think so." she murmured quietly, not even sure if these would be the right words to use.

message 26: by Antonia (new)

Antonia (adf7793) Mason wanted to kick himself as he realized that his words had only made things worse. His question had brought back her sadness, way to go idiot. That was all he could think, some mate he was turning out to be. Instead of cheering his mate up, like he was supposed to, he was pulling her further down. Misery loves company...a phrase that was clearly mocking him at this moment. He could sense that she was hesitant to tell him anything, again he understood. He hated his part in her renewed feeling of dread, and wished that he could fix it somehow.

message 27: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) Lyddy let her rad rest there for a little while, idly winding a lock of his shortly cut hair around her index finger a becoming habit of hers when it came to Mason. She could feel the guilt on him, call it the mating bond, or maybe just the atmosphere, but she turned her head, which was now resting on his shoulder before taking a hold of his chin lightly and motoring his head to face her. "I'm not normally this emotional." she reassured before continuing. "And I'm fine, I promise." he murmured before timidly laying a kiss in his lips again. "Hows about we watch a movie?" she suggested. Movies were always a winner in her books. "Then after we can order takeaway and make a night out of it." she stated, letting her fingers trail across his collarbone and down his chest before tracing around his muscled, well defined stomach, almost teasing him slightly.

Mason grinned down at her, Lyddy was amazing, how he had gotten such a wonderful mate...he didn't know. But he was thankful nonetheless. Lyddy was bringing him back from the darkness that had been consuming him, he never thought that it was a possible feat. He returned her kiss with ease, wanting more but knowing now was not the time. He believed that marking and mating should happen at the same time, it was supposed to be easier and less painful for the she-wolf. As since Lyddy hadn't shifted yet, his mark would be more painful for her because it would heal slower. "I wouldn't mind if you were always this emotional, Lyddy. Just as long as I had you in my life, that's all that matters to me. I would love to watch a movie...I'm a sucker for animated and cartoon movies." Mason added the movie part with a slight blush, "And I agree with the food part, I love food..." He chuckled knowing that she would understand, werewolves loved food and were always hungry. He smiled down at her, placing a kiss gently on her face, "That kinda tickles." The sparks seemed to be shooting from her finger tips as they trailed along his flesh.

wanderer (chloemai) (view spoiler)

Lyddy watched him closely, the bond between them was just so...Perfect. And she hadn't known what to expect when she found her mate. In fact, to an extent she had been scared of what to expect. She smiled under the kiss lightly, and as their lips disconnected she nuzzled her head into the crook of his neck once more. She sure as hell wanted to mark him, oh god she did. Without that mark no doubt she'd probably be clingy as hell, not to mention jealous and on edge when he was around any other female. She reminded herself that he wasn't going anywhere, but it was more her wolf getting all protective. Although she did secretly harbour a 'small' bit of jealously. Lyddy let out a small giggle as her cheeks reddened slightly at his words, Eskimo kissing him slightly before pulling back to look him in the eyes. "I love disney films." She informed him as his cheeks reddened, earning another chuckle from her as she shook her head. "You're to sweet. Like a big teddy bear. My teddy bear." She stated in a matter-of-fact tone. "And food is bloody fantastic. But Nutella is the best. It's like a gift from the gods. Oh! And cookie dough ice cream." She informed him, again, chuckling at his words. "Tickles huh?" She made sure to keep her fingers lightly trailing across his skin as she grinned at him. "Lets get some food." She stated, reluctantly rolling off of him, but gesturing for him to follow her as she began to make her way to the kitchen.

message 31: by Antonia (new)

Antonia (adf7793) "A teddy bear?" Mason shook his head and chuckled, "I...will be a teddy bear for you..." He replied in a pained voice, being considered as a teddy bear, well it hurt his pride just a little bit. But this was Lyddy he was talking about, and he would gladly forgo his pride to make her happy. That's all that mattered to him now. "I agree with the Nutella part, I love it with strawberries, and even apples. But the chocolate chip cookie dough...well I'm more of a cookies and cream fan. Something about raw cookie dough puts me off." He smiled at her as she so clearly teased him by continuing to tickle him with her delicate fingertips. At her suggestion to get some food Mason beamed, though he frowned slightly as she removed herself from his embrace. As she walked away he jumped up from the couch, ran over and scooped her up into his arms. Craddling her in his arms he nuzzled her neck, "Mine." He stated simply, before pressing his lips to hers.

message 32: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) "A teddy bear." Lyddy confirmed absentmindedly and as let out a slight yawn. She grinned at him, stroking his jaw line before laying the siftest of kisses there and letting out a contented sigh. "I can't stand apples." She informed him, nose wrinkling as she did so. "I've never liked them, but strawberries, I love. I'm gonna have to try strawberries and nutella out sometime." She said with an excited smile, highly looking foreward to just the smallest thing. She let out a small laugh at his words, kissing him on the cheek. "Well cookies and cream couldn't have been made without cookie dough in the first place. Otheriwse it would just be cream. Cream ice cream. Sucks to be you." She stated, her nose crinkling again at though thought of cream icecream. Lyddy let out a squeek as Mason scooped her up off of her feet, although quickly nestled in his arms, her lips eagerly pressing against his, letting the kiss linger for a few moments before drawing away again. "My teddy." She informed him softly, a somewhat teasing smile playing across her lips.

message 33: by Antonia (new)

Antonia (adf7793) "You hate apples? How on earth can anyone hate apples? Haven't you ever heard of the saying an apple a day keeps the doctor away?" Mason halfheartedly chided her, truly he just liked to tease her. "If you love chocolate covered strawberries, you will love nutella and strawberries. They are that amazing together." Mason grinned just thinking about it, it was one of his favorite desserts. Yes, he had a bit of a sweet-tooth. His grin grew bigger as Lyddy kissed him on the cheek, he carried her the rest of the way into the kitchen before setting her down gently on a chair. He just chuckled at her logic about his favorite flavor of ice cream. "Yes, your teddy," Mason reluctantly agreed as he rolled his eyes, if it would make her happy so be it.

message 34: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) "Guess that's why I have so many issues then." Lyddy joked back. Which was the truth. She did have a lot of problems. Regular panic attacks, severe migraines and bleeding, which was partly due to anemia. Yep. Lyddy was full of medical problems. "They;re just so...Belghh. I don't like the texture of them." She informed him with a sure shake of her head as she smiled up at him. "I've actually never tried chocolate covered strawberries either." Having been passed around to various foster homes throughout three years, most of which treated the siblings more like slaves than family members, she hadn't really had a chance to lap up the luxuries in life, if you will. Lyddy found herself wanting to be in his arms again as he set her down, although on the inside she was arguing with her wolf. He was barely a few metres away from her, she didn't need to be held for god sake. That would come across as clingy. She didn't want to be clingy since with experience with her brother she had picked up that most guys didn't like clingy girls. She just wanted to be perfect. For him. She clapped her hands once as he agreed with her, grinning widely. "Good." She stated before beginning to rise from the chair, making sure her movements were slow to avoid as much discomfort as possible. "Ok, what would you like to eat?" She began once she had, after about 5 minutes, stood up straight.

message 35: by Antonia (last edited May 07, 2013 11:52PM) (new)

Antonia (adf7793) "The texture?" Mason raised a masculine brow as he pondered her words, "Okay...I get that. I'm that way with...tuna, I loath tuna it's disgusting. Utterly." Mason even shuttered, as if to empathize his point, before offhandedly stating, "Whatever issues you have, well we shall get through them together." He walked over to her, coiling his arms around her slender frame. "We'll most certainly have to rectify the fact that you've never had a chocolate covered strawberry. The mere thought of that is a complete travesty..." Mason gave her a serious look, oxymoronic to the silliness of the issue. Nuzzling into the crook of her delicate neck, he sighed, forgoing everything in the world to savor that very moment with her.

He had never thought he would get another chance at happiness, banking on the melancholy tone that his life had assumed. He had been lost in the labyrinth of perpetual sorrow his mind thrust him in each day, fearing he would eventually lose himself. Lyddy. The significance of her arrival in his ever so dreary life did not slip his notice. She saved him from his most deserved fate, simply by breathing. He would be forever grateful to her, she warranted his highest respect and love, he would always cherish her. Her angelic voice resonated within his mind, alerting Mason to the fact that she had been attempting to communicate with him. His eyes drifted to her person, he was yet again stunned by the beauty that was his mate.

message 36: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) "The texture." Lyddy confirmed with a certain nod of her head, chuckling to herself quietly at his admission of despising tuna. "You do realise now that you've told me that if we ever get into an argument I'm gonna somehow get you back with tuna." she stated with a half smile, again giggling quietly. She hoped that they did fight. Only once or twice of course, not on a regular basis. But being the romance geek that she was, in her spare time Lyddy had constantly search what a healthy relationship consisted of. Apparently fighting with one another was good, since it cleared the air. It had been on quite a few websites, but then again, some of the requirements were absurd some things that she would never do.

"And I can only be thankful for that." Lyddy murmured, feeling his arms gently loop around her waist, and her own arms found themselves wrapping around his torso in a relaxed hug. "You know, I don't know how I got so lucky. You're just perfect." She stated, rubbing one hand up and down his back as her own body pressed against his. But it was in a nice sort of way. Not in a 'I wanna rip your clothes off right now' type of thing. More along the lines of a simple 'you mean the world to me' hug. Shivers ran down her spine as he nuzzled into her neck, sighing out in satisfaction and smiling at his previous words. "I apologize, but I'll tell you what is a travesty. You having not tried my pancakes yet. You should ask Lucas about them first. They're the only thing I can make from scratch, but even I can admit they're pretty damn good." She stated before lapsing into silence, not wanting the moment to end.

message 37: by Antonia (new)

Antonia (adf7793) "You wouldn't?" The look of horror was clearly written across his face, and horror it was. He wasn't joking when he said he loathed tuna, the mere smell of it was enough to make him heave. While he doubted...hoped, that she wouldn't actually use that dreadful excuse for food against him. He could see her doing it...he sighed, shaking his head in a mockingly disappointed way. He wasn't cross, just...resigned to his fate, he knew that he would just have to try hard to stay on her good side. That that he ever planned to get on her bad side, but one never really planned for that, did they?

Mason merely chuckled as she stated that he was perfect, him and perfection were few and far between. They were completely incompatible, it was the one thing that Mason knew he would never be. No one, with the exception of Lyddy, was perfect. But Mason, he wasn't even good, definitely not good enough for Lyddy. How could he be after he failed his younger brother? What if he failed her too? She hadn't shifted yet...she was more vulnerable than his little brother, that thought had him instantly on edge. But it was soon erased as she nuzzled his neck, he groaned slightly, "Why ask him, when you could just make them for me?" He teased her, "I...well, I could attempt to help you."

wanderer (chloemai) "Of course I would sweetie." Lyddy stated with a teasing smile, patting him on the chest with a smile. "Guess you'll just have to stay away from my bad side." She stated, reaching up on her tiptoes and kissing his nose lightly, only just barely managing to reach to such a great height, compared to her own. "I'm sure I wouldn't go to such lengths unless I was really mad though. And although I get angry, I never really get mad." She reassured before wrapping her arms around his torso once more. "You're comfy." She murmured softly against him.

"You are. Because I said so." Lyddy informed him oh-so casually, tilting her head back to look up at him once more. She was a screw up, she knew it. What type of daughter couldn't even remember the deaths of her own parents? Couldn't remember who had done that? She just didn't want to screw up this. This one piece of hope that she had, she wasn't letting it go. She wasn't letting him go, not without a fight. She chuckled at his groan, wide, chocolate brown eyes gazing into his. "Hmm...That could be a possibility." She stated, contemplating it for a moment. "Depends what I have to work with in the cupboards." Lyddy informed him as she gently moved away from him, almost reluctantly so, standing up on tiptoe as she swung one of the cupboard doors open, eyes searching for supplies.
