Where concerts are held and bands come to play.

River cautiously opened the door into the Shrieking Shack, looking around to see who might be inside. The walls were plastered with posters of famous bands and singers; KISS, Queen, Green Day, the Beatles.
And then some local bands, with dates of the next concerts.

(hey I gtg for dinner sorry! Be back on in like 15 minutes!)

Seeing Arissa, River waved her over, beaming and bouncing, barely able to contain her excitement.

"Ohmigod! Hi! We have sooo much to talk about!!" River said as Arissa slid into the seat across from her.

River explained everything that had gone on between her and Ethan, her words tripping over each other. But she didn't tell Arissa about what she saw in Ethan's memories.

"I know! But c'mon; how'd it go with your guy?" River raised her eyebrows, giggling.

"Nice. Did you...kiss him?" River asked, trying to be serious.

Riv threw her head back, "Ha, I KNEW you would! He's totally into you! So you like him?"

River stared at a poster of Bon Jovi for a second before answering. "I do, but..." She trailed off.

"Well, he *is* older than me and.. I don't know, sometimes I feel like there's a spark, and then I just...don't..."

"Well, yeah, I guess... Who knows, maybe we'll a little more serious as the year goes on!" She shrugged. "But anyway; what else is new?"

"How are classes?"

"That's good. Meanwhile, I'm still looking for a house...or least a dorm..."

"Thanks! That would be amazing!" River smiles.

Raf walked in, his head low, his eyes were dull and lifeless, matching his current mood.

Natalie needed to hear music so she went inside and sat at a far away table away from everybody else.

(Ugh, anti-social. xD jk ;p)
Raf ordered himself a drink at the bar, the only on campus site that actually served real alcohol. The bartender look at him with one eyebrow raised. "I'm not sure if you're old enough for that sonny," He said.
Rad sighed, pulling out his 'fake' ID showing it to him. Believe me, I'm old enough to be your great-grandfather. He thought.
When he turned, he saw Natalie sitting in the back, staring at the table top. He made his way over to her and cleared his throat. "Uh, hey."

"Oh. Hey, uhhh Raf isn't it" She asked him not really able to remember

He nodded. "Yeah. How's it going?" He asked.

"I've been fine" She gives a small smile

Raf held back a sigh at her short answers, then motioned with his head towards all the posters and the stage. "You like music?" He asked.

"Oh, yes. In fact thats why I came here." She says giving another smile.
((Oh I forgot to mention.. I think Nat is taken))

He grinned. "Cool. Who do you like?"

"Sweet. I'll have to check them out." Rouge said, smiling back before taking a sip of his drink, grimacing as it burned his throat.

" You should get me one of them." She gave a smile

"A drink? Sure. Whatcha want?" Raf asked.

"Get me something strong " She said with a smile

He nodded, laughing quietly. "That I can do." Raf went up to the bar and ordered her a strong double shot, then brought it back and set it down in front of her.
"There ya go."

She downed the double shot with ease, and barely winced at the burning down her throat.

"Better?" Raf asked, leaning against the booth she sat in, crossing his arms.
(Now, we DO NOT get so drunk that someone gets hit with a car xD lol)

"Much better." She smiled. For the first time she looked into his eyes. He was gorgeous, but she soon snapped out of it with her strong will.

Rafferty grinned when she blushed and quickly looked away. She was very beautiful, but his heart was taken by someone else...

Nat layed her head down, after realising that this was the day it happened now 4 years ago. She let a couple tears fall.

Rouge straightened, concerned. "Hey... Nat, what is it?" He asked quietly.

"Today was the day" she faintly whimpered

He set his jaw, shutting his eyes against the rage that welled up inside him. He still didn't come near her, knowing it would be best to keep his distance, though he hated not being able to comfort her.
"I'm so sorry..." He said.

"I just wish, I wasn't so stupid to walk down that alley" He says hiding her face.

He shook his head. "It's NOT your fault Natalie. Honestly."

"I'm so weak, and foolish" She said

"No, you're not!" Raf said, shaking his head and sliding into the booth opposite her. "It wasn't anything you did Natalie. It was that sick, evil, son of a-" He stopped, letting out a tense breath.

"Then why do I feel like it's my fault?" She asks frantically

He wished with everything he had that he could go back in time and prevent it from happening...
"I don't know," He said honestly, looking her in the eyes. " Maybe because sometimes guilt is just a hidden fear."

"I'm not hiding it. I am afraid.. I afraid to be around new guys. I was terrified that night." She says looking at him

Raf couldn't meet her gaze. What? You seriously think she wouldn't be afraid of YOU if she found out what you are? He told himself.
"I bet you were..." He said.

((You know what? Nat was right when she said there was something about him she didn't like lol))

"Oh I was terrified." She now says shaking a little
