Matt -- the more conventional word for "pneumatic" is "Rubenesque" or "zoftig" ((sometimes "zaftig").

I'm so sorry I missed seeing you, too. And I have very strong opinions about this book, too. I first read it in my early 20s and my opinions have different angles now.

And I totally prefer zaftig and Rubenesque over pneumatic. I'd much rather sound like classic art than a machine. *grin*
