Christine went in for a cheack up on the cancer

Hailie skipped down the halls of the hospital looking for where her older sister Kara's room was. She stopped when she saw a 10 year old. "Hi" She smiled at Christine.

"hi"

"I'm Hailie" She said "Who are you?" She asked, curiously.

"Christine brennon"

"Do you know where room 403 is?" Hailie asked, as she need to get to where her sister was or Erik would start to worry. "I need to find my big sister" Hailie added.

she shrugged

Hailie's smile didn't waver "Thats okay" She assured her.

"Will you be my friend?" Hailie asked inoccently as a teen boy hurried towards them. "Hails where have you been?" He asked while picking up the blonde child.

"Erik I'm fine I was just lost" Hailie shrugged.

"You have to be more careful I can't be with you and Kara at the same time" Erik chastised, only cause he was so protective of his little sisters.

christine nodded and went to 408

Erik carried Hailie to Kara's room. He set her down on a chair and went to his other sisters bedside. It had been 9 years ago tomorrow since Kara had been hit by the car. He blamed himself for it everyday, despite the fact he had been only 6. "Kara its time to wake up hun Hailie is here to visit" He said softly while lightly touching her arm.

Kara opened her eyes and stared at Hailie with a smile. "Hi Kara" Hailie waved as she got to her sisters side. Hailie didn't understand why her sister was here or why she didn't talk. "I brought a book to wead wif you Kara" Hailie told her sister.

Kenzi walked in to the hospital and went right to Kara's room. She smiled as Hailie jumped off the bed and ran to her. "Hello Hailie" Kenzi smiled as she picked up the 5 year old.

Erik looked up as she 2 girls walked into the room "Hi Kenz and new girl" He said while getting up from where he had been sitting.

Kara turned her eyes towards the new people in the room. She smiled mutely, showing that she didn't mind having the new people in her room.

((Erik doesn't know her and is very protective, Kara is very friendly but is mute so can't actually say anything, Hailie just wants another friend))

Noapte followed Kenzie quietly. She always kinda hated hospitals. The sick people were depressing

christine was sat in her hospital room alone

parker walked in to his sisters room followed by alice

She followed nervously, she wondered how bad she was.

Christine smiled at them "hi"

She smiled at Christine " hi." She said

Parker hugged Christine "Christine this is Alice, Alice this is my little sister Christine"

Alice waved " hi Christine."

"hi Alice" she smiled knowing she herself could die within months ((she is thinking about herself))

She smiled brightly at her. She already loved her.

"Guys this is my friend Noapte" Kenzi introduced with a smile. She simply adored the 3 siblings.

Erik stood and held his hand out to Noapte "I'm Erik these are my sisters Kara and Hailie" He said slightly guarded.

Hailie beamed at Noapte "Will you be my friend I like making friends" She asked.

Kara smiled and waved slightly.

Noapte nodded and Halie and shook Erik's hand. She waved a Kara too. She didn't have enough hands for these greetings.

Alice smiled at Christine " you're very pretty."

She nodded then jumped on parker's back

She grinned at the two siblings.

Christine held onto her brother tight

Russ walked in and smiled at the three before Christine noticed him

Kenzi dropped into the seat the Erik had been in. "Erik will you play the drums in a band I'm starting?" She asked.

"I'll think about it" Erik answered.

Hailie hugged Noapte quickly before she climbed back up on Kara's bed. "Will you be Kara's friend to?, she doesn't have a lot of friends" Hailie questioned while her smile wavered slightly.

Kara waited to hear Noapte's answer, silently hoping it was a yes.

She smiled at Kara " of course I will. "

Kara visibly brightened and she leaned over to grab her communication book. She put her finger on 'Thank you'. Hailie looked over at where her sisters finger was "Kara says thank you" She said.

Nicki limped into the hospital, holding onto the wall for support. She lowered herself into a seat, wincing. The pain was a lot, but nothing she hadn't felt before, from back then. All she really wanted was for someone to be here with her for support.

She smiled " your welcome. I'm happy to be your friend." She said

Kara smiled wider although in the back of her mind she wished she could tell everyone how she felt. Kara flipped through her book and found the phrase she wanted 'Can I have your name?'

"Kara wants to know if she can have your name for her book" Hailie translated.

Erik looked at Kenzi "I'll do it" He told her.

Kenzi jumped up and did another happy dance "Oh yeah" She cheered.

She smiled " Noapte." She said " do you want me to spell it or do you know how?"

Hailie grabbed an extra piece of paper and handed it to Noapte with a pen. "It has to be on paper like that to fit in her book" Hailie explained.

A nurse walked into the room "I'm here to bring Kara to her speech therapy" She told the group and Erik nodded. He watched as the nurse lead Kara from the room.

She watched Kara leave. She scribbled her name on the sheet of paper. She turned to Hallie. " why don't you give this to Kara when she comes back?" She asked.

Hailie nodded "Kara really likes you" She said while sitting on the bed cross legged.

She smiled " I like Kara too."

"Her whole school hates her" Erik said finally speaking.

She looked at him. " why?" She asked bewildered.

Erik sighed "Because she's different" He answered. "Almost everyday she comes home crying because some kids took her commuication book or beat her up" Erik added his voice getting bitter at the end.
