MrsJ. and I thought that we'd continue the theme idea for the summer months. Any ideas?

Sword and Sorcery sounds great!
Right. Themes or ideas. Like--member's choice. Don't know how we'd pick that, but maybe someone has an idea.
Kimberly wrote: "I'm curious about the Asian Fantasy."Many of the books mentioned in the thread " looking for Fantasy with Asian Elements" looked interesting, so I will second Asian themed Fantasy either taking place in Asia, having an Asian author, or inspired by Asian myths with Asian Characters.
I'm not sure how well it would work out, but what do you think of "Lesser known works by famous authors"?
Oh crud. I think we should make these suggestions for June and July... because Kate Daniels #6 comes out July 30th, so I know what many people's August read will be ;)

I know, I know. Me too. Now that I have my kindle, i'm getting caught up on the Kate world novellas. What fun!
I should really give Magic Bites another try. I started a few years ago, but never made it past the first few chapters. My heart and mind were still in another series. I found the Kate Daniels universe so different and hard to get into.

I loved the novellas, too. Especially Magic Gifts and Magic Tests.

But I won't. And I love the magic waves. It reminds me of the old dual-world fantasy.
