Emilia opened the door to her home, Kaiden followed in closely behind her. "So this is my house..." She was nervous, it was easy for her to be bold when they were in front of people, but now she was starting to feel, unsure of herself. She stood up on her tip-toes and kissed him, pulling him closer to her body.

Kaiden followed one step behind Emilia. Kaiden tangled his fingers in his hair and pulled her closer kissing her deeply. He could tell she was nervous and he wanted to get rid of those nerves. He pulled back slightly to look at her. "Why are you nervous?"He asked softly.

"Well..I've never exactly had a guy here...at my house before. And yes I know it's different because your my mate, but I still fell slightly nervous." Emilia smiled at him as she told him what was on her mind, saying it out loud has helped her feel calmer.

He grinned. "Well I'm glad you've never had a guy here before."He told her. He couldn't help but feel that way. The thought of another guy here made him mad even though he had really no right to feel that way considering his past. Call him a hypocrite but so be. "Don't feel nervous you have nothing to feel nervous about. We came here for your wonderful cooking remember?"He raised and eyebrow at her.

"Nope, your the first and the only guy that I will ever have here." She smiled at him, before cuddling up to his chest. She laughed and decided to joke with him, "What if I told you I was a horrible cook, but I used that as an excuse to get you to come my house? All alone and all defenseless againt my womanly charm?"

He smiled down at her and wrapped his arms around her holding her tightly against him. "That's good."He replied. He laughed. "What if I told you that that was just fine. That I have no problem being here. In your place. Alone. With you?"He said grinning wickedly. Two could play at that game. "But defenseless?"He shook his head. "I don't think so."

"Then I would say that we are on the same wavelength, mate." she trailed kisses along his jawline, she might have started out just playing, but slowly she wasn't anymore. "What makes you say that?" She wanted to know why he thought he wasn't defenseless against her, she was completely defenseless against him.

"Mhmm."He murmured. "Guess we are."He said softly starting to trail kisses across her collar bone to tease her. "What makes me say that,"he started, nibbling on her earlobe, "is that no guys at least that I know will ever admit to being defenseless."He whispered in her ear quietly.

Emilia moaned, she and her wolf wanted him so badly. His teasing wasn't making that any better, it was making it worse. She was almost to the point were she would demand him to mark her, among other things. Sadly she pull away from him, they had just met today. She didn't want Kaiden to think that she was like all the other girls that threw themselves at him. Not that she could blame them, her mate was extremely attractive.

He smiled when she moaned. It made him and his wolf giddy to know she wanted him. He let her pull away knowing if he didn't he'd mark her here and now patients be damned. He knew she wasn't ready for that and he respected that. He'd wait as long as she needed. He'd mark her when she was ready. He knew today was not that day which was fine with him. He kinda liked that he wasn't just throwing herself at him like most girls did. If she had though he probably wouldn't have been able to keep from marking her. His wolf certainly didn't understand why they where waiting to mark her as his.

"So...I guess I should start on our food, huh?" Emilia smiled up at him, she was actually a good cook, "I didn't just lure you here in my hopes of having my way with you. I was actually planning on cooking for you...is there anything in particular that you would like?" She wasn't sure what kind of food he liked...though as a male werewolf, she was sure anything would do. Male werewolves love to eat food, well as do females...and yes she did mean herself. Emilia loved food, which is why she was good at cooking. It wouldn't be smart to love to eat, but not know how to cook.

He grinned. "Yeah I guess you should."He knew she hadn't just been luring him here. He wasn't stupid. Seeing as how he ate just about anything he really didn't care what she made. Then again it was like that for almost all male werewolves. We ate just about anything. We were anything but picky. "Whatever you feel liking making is fine with me."He told her. "I eat pretty much anything."

Emilia pulled him to her, and kissed him biting his lip lightly before pulling away. She winked at him and walked away from him to get to the kitchen. She pulled out the stuff to make spaghetti, it was her favorite thing to make. It was fast and easy. Emilia got finished with it about half an hour later. She made them both plates and sat them on the kitchen table. She had also make garlic bread and side salads. She hoped that he liked her food, she was actually quite nervous about cooking for him. She walked into the living room where he had been waiting, "Dinner's ready."

He grinned at her and winked back at her. He watched her leave the room. He leaned against the wall and folded his arms over his chest to wait for her. He looked around the room. She had a very nice house in his opinion. At least what he'd seen of it anyways. It even seemed like her. He smiled at her and grabbed her hand as he followed her into the kitchen the smell of her food assaulting his nose. It smelt really good. "If your food tastes as good as it smells which I imagine it does then it must be amazing."He told her with a grin.

"Well thank you," Emilia grinned, pleased at his compliment. She turned to face him, placing a kiss on his lips quickly before showing him to the table. She sat close to him, her wolf had hated that they were apart when she had been making dinner. She looked over at Kaiden, happy with the choice that the Goddess had made for her. He was perfect for her, sure she didn't like his past much, but she would get over it. It wasn't like he could change it. Besides, he had agreed to getting a new bed and bedding without hesitation. That said a lot, and she loved that he was willing to do that for her.

"Your welcome."He told her while twirling a piece of her beautiful blonde hair around his finger. He followed her to the table and was pleased when she sat near him. The whole time he'd been in the living room his wolf was whining like a pup wanting to be close to her. He grinned at her when she looked over at him. He was glad that even though she hated his past she was willing to stay with him and be his mate. Most people wouldn't want a thing to do with him if they where in her position.

Emilia saw that Kaiden had looked over at her and smile. She blushed slightly and her grin grew, her wolf was happy that they were getting along. She wanted to be closer to her mate, and didn't understand why Emilia hadn't let her mate mark her yet. Emilia liked that he seemed to be enjoying the food, it made her happy that her mom had managed to teach her before she died. Emilia wasn't always the easiest person to teach something to, her mom hated that about her. She chewed her lower lip nervously, they hadn't talked about what they were going to do...housing wise. Obviously she didn't want to be away from him now that she had found him. The thought of that made her rather ill to say the least. She decided not to mention it just yet...they should finish eating first.

Kaiden had wrapped an arm around her shoulders while he ate. His wolf wanted physical contact and he agreed with his wolf 100%. He noticed the blush on her face which just made him grin that much more. "You blush easily did you know that?"He teased her with an amused laugh. "So where did you learn how to be such a fabulous cook anyway?"He asked curiously slipping some food into his mouth.

Emilia started laughing as he told her she blushed easily, "You know, I had never actually blushed before meeting you today. At first it kind of bothered me, but I'm come to realize that your going to be my first on a lot of things." Emilia flashed him a shy smile, "My mother...she taught me how to cook. She never thought I would get it though, I burnt a lot of dinners when I first started out. But my family ate it, they even told me it was good and asked for more. I knew they were only trying to make me feel better but it worked like a charm." Emilia laughed fondly at the memory, before something caught her eye. Kaiden had some sauce on his lips, she moved forward and licked it off, then place her lips on his.

He grinned at her. "I like the sound of being your first at a lot of things."He told her with a smirk. "Oh yeah burnt food. Always a favorite."He chuckled. Burnt food was the only kind of food he could make. He left the cooking to Will and Lexi. Kaiden kissed her back lightly and wrapped his arms around her pulling her closer to him. His wolf was pushing him to mark her here and now. He didn't understand why he wasn't. Why he was waiting. He pushed his wolf back before her did mark her without her permission.

"I'm sure you do, my pervy mate!" Emilia blushed as she rolled her eyes at Kaiden. "I'm glad you think so, I used be able able to burn food with the best of them...but then sadly I got better. I guess I'll have to convert back...since it's your favorite and all." Emilia returned his smirk, and leaned in for another kiss. She knew it was risky, since she could tell that both of their wolves were on edge to mark each other. But she couldn't help it, there was something about Kaiden that she just couldn't seem to get enough of.

"I do!"He said with a laugh. He chuckled at her sarcasticness. "Yeah I guess you will won't you oh mate of mine."He said still chuckling a little. He knew he should push her away before he did something risky. Did something they ended up regretting but he couldn't bring himself to push her away or to pull away. He wound his fingers in her long golden hair and pulled her closer instead.

Emilia moaned against his lips, his grip in her hair pulled her closer to him. She bit his lower lip harder than usual, then licked the pain away with her tongue. He was hers. She was becoming possessive, though she figured she would be before they marked each other. Her wolf would always be worried about some she wolf trying to steal him away from her. While Emilia knew about Kaiden's past, she also knew that she could trust him, he was her mate after all. That helped calm her wolf down slightly, but she was still grumbling in Emilia's head. Emilia pulled back, noticing that she was straddling Kaiden's lap, but she didn't remember moving from her chair.

It was a good thing that Emilia had pulled back. Kaiden wouldn't have been able to and he probably would have ended up marking her here and now. His wolf on the other hand wasn't very happy with him. He was complaining that he hadn't marked her as his. He was feeling possessive. But she was his mate after all so feeling possessive was not out of the question. He grinned when he realized she had climbed into his lap. He grinned down at her. "Hey beautiful!"

Emilia rolled her eyes at her more than slightly cocky mate, "Hello yourself, handsome." She gave him a flirty wink as she moved forward towards his mouth, stopping right before their lips connected. She leaned back smirking at him, the playful glint in her eye gave away that she was about to tease him. She lightly blew on his neck as she trailed down to the spot were she would mark him as hers...soon. She bit down hard, but not hard enough to break his skin, only enough to make him squirm. She quickly jumped off his lap, and laughed as she ran into the living room.

He narrowed his eyes at her wondering just what his mate had up her sleeve. Of course she did the last thing he expected out of her. When she bit where she would mark him and closed his eyes and bit back a moan. Of course his eyes flashed open the second he felt her jumped off his lap. He ran after easily catching up to her and caught her around the waist. Two could play at that game he though mischievously. "That wasn't very nice luv."He breathed in her ear his teeth lightly grazing her earlobe. He trailed small kisses down her neck and to the spot he'd mark her. He nibbled there softly before letting her going and throwing himself down on the couch his arms resting behind his head with a self satisfied smirk.

Tingles ignited throughout her body as he whispered in her ear, making her shutter. When he sprinkled kisses down her neck, her breath caught in her throat. She bit her lip trying not to give him the satisfaction of hearing her moan as he retaliated for her earlier teasing. Then he just let her go, leaving her to regain her balance alone. She felt her face morph into a pout, as she watched him plop down upon the couch. Oh, no, nope. He was not getting away that easily, not if she had anything to say about it. She ran and jumped on him, grabbing his hand that were resting behind his head and pinned them further. "No...it wasn't very nice, but this will be worse." Emilia smirked at Kaiden, her eyes swirling into a golden hue.

He titled his head to the side and leaned his face closer to hers so their lips where millimeters away. "Oh really and what exactly did you have in mind?"He breathed then leaned back with his own smirk. Of course he wanted to know exactly what she had in mind but she'd probably just show him instead of tell him. Of course she was going to lose. She was playing a game he knew and knew very well.

Emilia smiled at him, he thought he had her all figured out, that was cute. She moved forward placing her lips on his, then pulled back and snuggled to his chest. "I think we should..." She got close to his ear and whispered in a seductive tone, "...watch a movie." She grabbed the remote and press the play button, trying not to laugh. She wasn't really sure what movie was in the player, Ally was the last person to use it. She peeked up at Kaiden, trying to see what his reaction was to her teasing.

He laughed softly and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Your cute you know that?"He said to her. "So what movie we watching anyway?"He asked. He hadn't sat down an just watched a movie in a long time. The last time he could think of watching a movie was before his pack was destroyed and that was a few years ago. It would be nice to just watch a movie.

"Am I now? Well, I am pleased that you feel that way mate." Emilia smiled as he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer to him. "I'm not sure actually, I wasn't the last one to use it." She explained as they waited for the movie to reveal itself. Mega Mind. That is the movie that was in the player. Emilia chuckled, it was a rather good movie, it made her laugh. A lot. She wondered if Kaiden had ever seen it. She doubted it, it didn't seem to be his type of movie, but she could be wrong.

He grinned at her. "As you should be mate."He said kissing her neck before forcing his attention to the tv. "Well I guess we will find out then."And they did shortly after he said that. "Mega Mind?"He questioned. He'd never heard of the movie not surprising since he hadn't watched any tv or movies in a long time. He knew why he hadn't though. His and Will's family use to watch a movie every Saturday but when the pack was destroyed all that changed and well him Megan Lexi and Will had stopped watching movies at all.

"You've never seen Mega Mind..." Emilia's jaw dropped, "It's one of the best movies I've ever seen!" She pressed play, she was going to allow him to see that awesomeness that was Mega Mind for himself. She grinned, this wasn't how she pictured her day going when she woke up. She couldn't believe that she had went to the river due to the fact that she was, slightly, jealous that Lily had had found her mate. Only for Emilia to find her own. She noticed that Kaiden seemed a little sad, so she placed a soft kiss on his lips.

He shrugged. "I haven't really watched Tv or any movies in years."he told her. "So its not surprising I've never heard of it." He smiled softly at her and kissed her back. "Thank you."he murmured. He liked how easy it seemed to be for her to make him forget about his depressing thoughts. No one else had ever been able to do that not even Lexi. And Lexi was great with people. She was what people would call a people person.

"Well...I am sorry to hear that, I could help you with your lack of movie knowledge...if you want." Emilia was somewhat of a movie buff, she owed practically every movie known to man. It was common for her and Lily to stay up for hours, during the nights that she stayed over, just watching movies. "Oh it was my pleasure, I happen to enjoy kissing you," She mumbled, while nuzzling her face in the crook of his neck. She could fall asleep like this, which was shocking, Emilia hardly ever slept.

He grinned. "You probably could couldn't you."He replied. He thought about it for a minute. "sure why not."It meant he got to spend more time with his beautiful mate. Even if it was just learning about movies he didn't mind. He smirked at her. "How could you not enjoy kissing this?"He said gesturing to himself. Actually if she hadn't enjoyed kissing him she'd be the first girl to ever say that to him. Of course that thought just made him remember his past which just made him that more disgusted with himself.

"Wonderful! Don't take this lightly, movie education is highly important you know. But I'm more than willing to take time out of my busy schedule to help you," Emilia teased him, she was going to kiss him yet again, that is until his comment, "Oh, yeah? Sometimes I guess I just forget that you are cocky." She rolled her as he gestured to his body, howbeit, her mate did possess an incredible physique. Which he knew, just as well as she did. She felt their play mood turn rather sour, "Hey, what's wrong?" He seemed...upset about something.

"Oh it is. Is it? Well then I'm glad I have a great teacher like you then to teach me it huh?"He said amused. "Oh your busy schedule huh and what exactly are you busy with hmm oh mate of mine?"He asked. He knew she was teasing and he didn't mind. The only people that teased him ever where Will Lexi and Megan. It was nice to be teased by someone else. He raised and eyebrow. "ME? Cocky? Never!"He said sarcastically. He sighed. "Nothings wrong exactly. I just keep being reminded about my past and how much I hate it and well myself for that matter."

"I am a great teacher, you are right to feel privileged, studying under me is an honor..." She froze for a moment when she realized just how her words sounded, clearing her throat she continued like she hadn't said that, "I'm busy with a lot of things...mostly training, even though I'm a healer I help train with the Sentinels and Hunters." Her face was red still, she gave him a weak smile, "I will however, be freeing up a bunch of my time...if you're interested in filling those slots." When he joked about not being cocky she snorted, then he said he hated himself she frowned, "Don't say that...you shouldn't hate yourself. What happened in the past, is the past. That's where it should stay."

"Privileged am I?"He teased. "I don't know about that."He laughed at her obvious embarrassment when she realized how that had sounded. The training part wasn't much better than the first but he kept his mouth shut like a good little boy but inside he was dying of laughter. He smiled back at her in return. "I am very interested in filling everyone of those slots."He said grinning at her. "Hey! Its true I Kaiden Black am not cocky!"He declared. "Did I say that. Well let me rephrase that. I hate the part of myself that spent any amount of time with those girls. Is that better?"He asked. "And I know its the past but keeping it there isn't always easy."

"Yes you are." She confirmed with her lips pursed, she was glaring at him for his laughter...it was a mock glare, but it was still there. She knew why he was chuckling and it only added to her embarrassment. But she couldn't help but to smile when he confessed that he would enjoy spending more time with her, she decided to brush off his laughter. She snorted when he proclaimed yet again that he wasn't cocky, "Yes. I think you are." She stuck her tongue out at him, and rolled her eyes slightly. "Well, I'm glad that you feel that way...but I also hate that you feel that way...so let's not talk about it."

"Oh babe don't glare at me it isn't nice. "Plus its cute when you get all embarrassed."He told her. "I am in no way cocky missy!" He rolled his eyes at her when she stuck her tongue out at him. "Oh yeah real mature Emilia!"He teased with a grin stretched across his face. He nodded in agreement. "Okay we won't talk about. And I'll stop thinking about it and bringing it up. The past is that past and it shall stay there forever."He agreed without preamble.

Emilia rolled her eyes at him, she hated how he could be so cute sometimes, it made it hard to stay mad at him. "You are cocky, mister," She pressed once again, her mouth slowly turning into a grin, despite the fact that she was fighting it. "Good, I'm glad....it makes me jealous thinking about it..." She muttered softly before snuggling close to his chest, she was starting to get sleepy.

"You know if you keep rolling your eyes at me they're gonna fall out of your head."He teased. "And I am not cocky no matter what you say."He laughed when she started to grin especially because he could see she was trying to fight it and obviously losing. "I know it does and I'm sincerely sorry about that."He murmured kissing her forehead and tightening his hold on her a little bit.

"No they aren't, but yes you are," Emilia teased him back in a sing-songy voice. She liked this, being here with her mate, she hoped that it didn't change. She thought about how they met, and how they had nearly taken each other's heads off. It made her laugh, and she kissed her mate lightly on his cheek. "It's okay..." Honestly, it was. He couldn't control what he had done in his past, only what he did in his future.

"Oh yes they will oh mate of mine. And I am not!"He sang n a sing-song voice right back at her. "Kaiden Black and cocky don't even belong in the same sentence unless your saying that Kaiden Black is not cocky."He enjoyed picky on his mate it was enjoyable and funny too especially when she teased back. He smiled at her. "What's so funny?"He asked her after her cute little laugh. He nodded in response running his fingers through her hair.

"Me thinks the lady doth protest too much..." Emilia smirked down at him playfully, nipping at his neck lightly before pulling back. "I was just thinking about earlier today when we met, how we wanted to nearly rip each other apart." She laid her head on his chest as he began playing with her hair, it was something that always cause her to feel sleepy.

"I am not a lady!"He said in mock outrage. "I am very manly thank you very much."He told her then grinned. "I could prove it to you if need be."He told her with a teasing lilt to his voice. He enjoyed teasing her it was so much fun. "Okay come on Em we didn't want to rip each other apart per se we just didn't get along very well."Which he knew was an understatement when they had first met they kinda did want to rip each other apart but he knew none of that mattered now.
