Wʀɛռ (Cactus_Wren) "C'mon. I dare you!" Quincy smiled smugly knowing she'd win this argument. She always won arguments. She swung her arms back and forth dramatically as she walked backwards down the back road. She was facing Gavin, one of her best friends from when she was little.

"Hell no." Gavin replied abruptly. "She's human. I can't ask her out!" Gavin shook his head and tinkered with his watch as he walked. He was a bit shy when it came to the topic of dating, but he felt comfortable talking about it with Quincy. She pretty much was a guy, except for the girl parts, but whatever.

"But you fancy her, don't ya?" Quincy winked at him and laughed loudly. "She was fucking hot! I mean, I'd bang her if you weren't interested."

Gavin rolled his eyes. That was the only problem with having a friend that had no limits when it came to relationships. She had stakes at every claim.

ѕтαяк (cometocloseanduwillloseafinger) | 17 comments Griffin was walking down the back road, mostly minding her own business. The road was mostly silent, but as she got deeper into the roads she heard yelling, something about a girl being asked out. She smiled. Love drama was always floating around in the pride, she was foreign to it, however. She was always a loner. She chuckled to herself, silently. Most people would be ashamed if they were in her place, almost completely cut off from the rest of the pride, but she didn't mind it, it gave her a questioning mind, gave her time to improve her hunting, making herself the best she could be. Being a loner was a small price to pay, according to her. She turned the corner and saw the two arguing. She recognized them, had seen them in camp before, but she had never spoken to them and barely knew their names. She raised her eyebrows at them, signalling that she had heard everything. "Problem here?" She asked quietly, a smirk playing across her face.

Wʀɛռ (Cactus_Wren) "Woah. Attitude!" Quincy anounced with emphasis on every syllable. "What are you my mother? Smirking at me and putting your nose in our business!"

Gavin rolled his eyes at Quincy's response. He rolled his eyes a lot and perfected the ability, all thanks to Quincy. "The only problem is she can't keep it in her pants." Gavin jerked his thumb at Quincy.

"Hey! I'm still a girl!"

"Who says I was talking about a wang?" Quincy just looked at Gavin with a funny look like she was mentally slapping him. What kind of loser still said wang?

ѕтαяк (cometocloseanduwillloseafinger) | 17 comments She rolled her eyes. "Well sorry, but you guys are making so much noise, I'm surprised that you didn't wake the whole town!" She sighed. "I was just making sure that everything was alright here." She was a bit confused of what was happening, she gathered that it was something about a human in the city, but she wasn't sure at all. "So, what might we be talking about here? I'm confused." She placed her hands on her hips and furrowed her eyebrows. She didn't care if she was intruding, she wanted to know, it sounded like a juicy story.

Wʀɛռ (Cactus_Wren) "Gavin wants a girlfriend!" Quincy sang loudly while skipping around. She was doing a really good job at teasing Gavin and getting on his nerves.

"Shut up." Gavin snapped back, his face red. Although, he couldn't deny how pretty that human girl was.

"Oh get over it or get on it!" Quincy groaned, tired of her friend's lovesick appearance.

ѕтαяк (cometocloseanduwillloseafinger) | 17 comments Griffins lips curved into a smiled. "A human one, eh?" She chuckled. "I hate to say it, I'm not one to go against love, but seriously, a human?" She rolled her eyes. "You know that even if you did get to bang her, what would happen in the long term?" She batted her eyelashes in mockery. "What would your pretty little girlfriend thing of your ability?" Griffin laughed. "She would run for the hills and never look back. No hesitation as soon as you even told her, let alone showed her." She shrugged. "Just my opinion."

message 8: by Wʀɛռ (new)

Wʀɛռ (Cactus_Wren) Quincy stopped skipping around and stared blankly at Griffin. They were all silent for a few moments until Quincy spoke up again. "Wow, way to kill the mood bitchcake." Quincy didn't know Griffin's name, but with the attitude she had, bitchcake was enough.

Gavin just stared at the ground and remained silent. Griffin had a point, the only good point, no matter how wrong he wanted that point to be.

ѕтαяк (cometocloseanduwillloseafinger) | 17 comments "Hey." She said. "I'm just saying this for the good of everyone, calm down, okay." She didn't like the girl, but the boy seemed decent enough. "All I'm saying is that it could be dangerous, if he wants the girl, he can have her, I'm not going to try to stop anything from happening, he just needs to consider the dangers and be careful." She rolled her eyes at the girl, then just chose to ignore her. "Do what you want, but be careful." She said, turning to the boy.

Wʀɛռ (Cactus_Wren) "Yeah thanks." Gavin said sourly. She reminded him of his uncle, the way she acted like she knew everything and spewed her opinion without expecting it to make a difference. It was a bit annoying to be honest.

"Hey, I know! Why don't we go swimming?" Quincy declared loudly, but there was a nervous undertone in her voice. "You can come too if you want." She suggested to Griffin.

Gavin visibly relaxed when Quincy spoke up. He was interupted in his thoughts and his aura suddenly stopped feeling so angry. Like you could feel the air clear up. "Okay, sounds like fun."

ѕтαяк (cometocloseanduwillloseafinger) | 17 comments She shook her head. "No...thanks." She said awkwardly. She was sure that these people didn't like her, she didn't want to go swimming with them. She shrugged. "Later-er-maybe." She looked up at the sky, it was almost hunting time. She pointed at the sky. "I have to go." She said before swirly departing.

Wʀɛռ (Cactus_Wren) "Suit yourself." Quincy muttered nervously and waved good-bye to her. Most people didn't realize how opposite she and Gavin were. Quincy tended to like everyone, but she acted like a bitch no matter who you were to her. She said everything that mattered and didn't keep opinions to herself. Gavin on the other hand seemed very friendly, but he wasn't. He was dangerous, temperamental and violent. Quincy had found that out the hard way after he exploded into anger and gave her a black eye. He would have killed her if she wasn't as fast as she was.

Gavin turned on his heels heading towards the lake on their pride's territory. His hands were in his pockets and he kept silent as he walked, slowly calming down. He hated his temper, but he lived with it.

Quincy turned and ran after him when she realized Gavin was leaving her behind.
