Pride discussion

"Gavin wait up!" Quincy shouted. He was walking very fast and she had to jog to keep up. What was his problem? Oh yeah, he's emotionally sensitive. When Gavin didn't say anything she jumped in his way. "You need to stop letting everything get to you Gavin."

Gavin just pedaled around her.

"Hey! I'm talking to you!" Quincy shouted at him. "Stop this!" In reply Gavin grabbed the rope swing and lifted his feet off the ground. He landed in the water with a splash and instead of coming back, he swam further away. Quincy threw her hands in the air with frustration. How could Gavin be so irritating?
