Pride discussion

Kal opened the door to 39 Degrees Cafe and politely held it open for Lily could walk in first, " As you do," he smiled. It would seem they were on a date the way he acted but that was his personality women come first.

Lily walked into the Cafe ahead of Kal and headed to her usual spot in the corner of the coach by the fire. With one glare at the humans there they all scattered to sit somewhere else. Yeah it probably made her a bitch to make them move instead of sitting in one of the other open spots but she didn't care.

Humans scattered away from Lilly and she took her seat. Kal actually admired her, she was strutting her stuff even if she scared the humans. He sat down opposite her and looked through the menu. "Hmmm we just ate didn't we, you still hungry?" he ask her.

She shook her head. No she wasn't still hungry actually which was surprising because usually one deer wouldn't be enough for her. "No I'm not."She answered. "I think I'll just have something to drink."

"Yer, me too." Kal nodded and flicked his hand so the waiter nearby could acknowledge he wanted to order. The waited pulled out his small note pad and held a pen ready to write, "would you like to order sir or do you want me to say our specials on todays menu?" he asked politely. His face was full of acne and by his under-matured looks he seemed to be still in school. Kal shook his head,"No, no we aren't going to eat, just drinks thanks. I will have a short black expresso," the waiter quickly scribbled it down and looked up again," and for m'lady...?" asked Kal turning to Lilly. He winked mischievously.

Lily looked up as the waiter came over to take their order. It was just a passing glance really so she didn't really pay attention to what he actually looked like. "I'll have a medium cappuccino."She told him ignoring the wink. She really wasn't in the mood to do any flirting so she wouldn't be sad to see him leave even if for only a little bit.

Kal: "yer what she said." he shooed away the waiter and smiled at Lilly. "You can call me Hunter, everyone does. So Lilly tell me what's going on in your life? Let me guess- sitting by the beach everyday at your private resort being served Margarita drinks by sexy Spanish waiters-or fancy lobster meals at the most expensive restaurant in town-or travelling overseas every weekend to buy new dresses- am I right?"

She laughed and shook her head. "Sadly nothing as glamorous as that."She sighed. "More like making sure you hunters know how to hunt without screwing it up to badly. Plus I don't wear dresses."She mock shuddered. "Waaay to girlie for my tastes."She said with fake horror. "Of course the sexy Spanish waiters sound fun."She said with a sigh. "Too bad it will never happen."

" I'm sure you would look lovely in a dress," he teased,"and you don't need to worry about me, hunter is my middle name literally," the waiter approached their table and handed them their drinks but Kal continued to look at Lilly with a smile tugging on his lips.

"I'm not saying that I wouldn't I'm just saying there is no way I'll ever wear one."She replies. She rolls her eyes at him. "Of course it is." Lily noticed the waiter out of the corner of her eye but didn't say anything, just took her drink from him and when he set Kal's down she waved him away. She wasn't in the mood to be social to humans.

Chris walks in totally bored out of his mind he sits by the fire and orders a mint tea and a muffin he puts his helmet besides him he leans back and closes his eyes

Kal drank his expresso and hid his small smile behind the cup. "So have you got a Mate yet- how old are you again?" he asked, setting his expresso down.

She sighed, "No I haven't found my mate yet."She told him, "and I'm 18."She said taking a sip of her cappuccino wrapping her hands around the cup.

Kal nodded,"Yer me neither but the time will come," he looked around and saw a familiar boy sitting by the fire, Chris was his name right? "Do you know him?" he said pointing at the boy by the fire.

She nodded. "Yeah I know."She answered. I really hope so she thought to herself. Lily followed his gaze, "Yeah that's Chris he's apart of the pride. I know like everyone in the pride."

Chris flashes a smiles at Lily and sips his tea the waiter put in front of him

Char storms in with her arms crossed " Chris damn it "

"Sorry I don't know everyone, miss popular!" Kal said mockingly. He drained the last of his expresso with a thoughtful look on his face. "You finished yet? This place is boring....When do we do our jobs, like hunt?"

' OH Hell no '' chris looks at char like she has 4 heads

"I am not miss popular I just take it upon myself as the head hunter to know everybody!"She exclaimed. "Sheesh is that such a crime?"She asked finishing her drink. "Yes I'm finished. And we do our jobs when we need to or when we are told to. Or in my case when I feel like it. Sometimes I just make you people do it for me."She grinned.

Kal pulled a face of shock and horror, "You make us do your work!" he exclaimed but a small smile was tugging on his lips. "I feel like a slave..." and he raised his arms above his head and brought them back down as though he was praising her and then he hummed softly but just loud enough for everyone to hear, humans began twist around in their sears to stare at them.

Char looked at Kal like he was crazy and sat down with Chris and orders a latta

Lily nodded and laughed. "Yes actually I do quit often actually. Its quit fun watching you guys do the work I was asked to do. Not that it matters as long as it gets done."She paused. "Well done the right way that is. And if it doesn't its my job to a)punish how I see fit and b)either have someone else fix it or fix it myself."She told him. "And in a way you guys are my own personal slaves only more servant like than slave like."She ignored the humans that turned around to stare at them. She could care less about what they thought.

Char pops up and walks to her car and gets in bored out of her mind

" BYE LOVE " Chris shouts

Kal fell to the ground in laughter and stopped laughing when a boy joined, clutching his stomach he reappeared on the table. "You are one mean wolf Lilly, you could be an Alpha," he looked up at her in admiration. He sat back on his seat and looked at the new boy who was next to him, "hello..." Kal greeted him.

She let out a light laugh when he fell on the floor. She shook her head at him amused. "Hmm so on a scale of 1 to 10 how comfy was the floor?"She teased. "You seemed to enjoy your time down there."This was what she needed, a relaxing day of doing nothing but hanging out with a pride member. "That's because both my parents use to be alpha's before their prides where destroyed so I have alpha blood."She explained. She didn't usually talk about her parents really. It was a closed subject to her and her siblings. Always had been since their deaths and always would be. Lily looked to the new boy standing next to them. "Hiya!"

"hmmm I would rate the floor about 1 out of 10, the wooden kinda lowered the whole tone of the restaurant and don't get me started on the dust!" he imitated a judge on a tv show. He quietened down when she told him about her parents, "I'm sorry, truly, I am. I know how you feel...."

Chris laughs at the to of them and grins and sips his tea

She rolls her eyes at his tv show voice. "Yeah well not you hurt the poor floors feelings."She said sarcastically. "Its bad enough its always being stepped on and now this."She said in mock seriousness. She tensed at his words. "Don't be its not your fault."She said stiffly. She looked away after that quietly staring into space.

Kal smiled, A smile can light up anyones world , "Don't worry little missy." and he gave her a comforting pat on the shoulder. "Whats up?" he said turning to the boy beside him as though they had been friends for years.

She raised an eyebrow at him. "Little! I'm the lead hunter for crying out loud! Since when am I little."Okay yes she knew she was short but that wasn't her fault. Plus being called little missy at 18 years old makes her sound like a kid instead of an adult. She turned her attention to the guy beside them.

" Nothing much you " Chris licks his hand because he spilt his tea

Kal chuckled at Lilly's outburst, he is about a head and half taller than her so she does seem very short. He nodded at Chris," so what is your rank in the pack?"

"Me too"

"Hunter , and you two?" Chris asked then.

"Yep! And loving it to, wouldn't trade any other job for it." Kal put his arm around Lilly and smiled mockingly. And he added in loud whisper behind his hand to Chris, " She's a bully, she's planning on making us slaves!" he grinned back at Lilly.

Lily rolled her eyes at Kal. "I can hear you."She told him smacking him in the arm. Hard. "Plus as head hunter I can tell you to do whatever I want. Its my job to boss you guys around. Plus its fun."

Kal poked his tongue out, " Meanie!" and laughed, shaking the small round table. "So Chris how old are you?" he asked and then added jokingly,"Got a sister?"

"in 20 i do believe and no but i have Char ,the one that stormed out of here she's a real handful," he shook his head

Lily rolled her eyes at Kal. "Oh yeah real mature."She said haughtily. Lily grin at Chris. "Its even more fun hearing I'm in charge of people older than me. It makes me proud of myself."She says with a laugh.

Kal leaned back in his seat, crossed his arms sulked,"But we all know you lookolder than us...." he said in a sly, loud whisper. And at the look on Lilly's face he added, "I'm joking, I'm joking..!" ((sorry if i controlled ur character for a moment, u can do that to my character if you need to))

Lily glared at him when he made the comment. "Oh shut up!"She said smacking him again. "And I don't care if your joking be nice!"She laughed when he flinched a little at her hit. She had hit him pretty hard.

Chris shook his head laughing " Char is my cousin she is 20 btw."

"Owww," he whined, admiring his new bruise but then he looked up at her and poorly attempted to hide his cheeky grin," You're gonna pay for that one, Lilly!" and he pounced over table with a roar, he acted much like panther in that moment but the cafe was nearly empty so no one noticed but an old couple in the corner. He then tickled her and tickled her, "say MERCY!!" he yelled, he wasn't going to stop until she said it.

((I hope he's ready to be hit and kicked and yelled at because She hates being tickled and she hits screams and kicks when people tickle her instead of the normal reaction of just laughing and trying to make the person laugh.))

"Good it hurt it was suppose to you deserved it."She said with a smirk. She looked at him warily having no idea what that meant but knowing it probably wasn't anything good. When he pounced over the table she was so shocked at first she didn't move and when she did it was already too late. Of course he didn't know about her hatred of being tickled so instead of having a normal reaction to it she ended up kicking and hitting at him to get off her. She was also yelling at him that if he didn't stop soon she was gonna kill him.

Chris laughed at the two and just sits there talking to this inner panther

Kal understood that Lilly really didn't want to be tickled and he jumped off her, he frowned at her," What's wrong? Can't take my tickling skill?" and he wiggled his fingers threatening to tickle her again.
