What are Buddy Reads?
Just as the name states, it's about people reading books together. You set your reading pace, create your thread and talk about the books as you read it together. :) They're usually online, but some buddy reads have met offline to discuss books further. (view spoiler)[That is absolutely okay, as long as these meet-ups don't happen on the same day as the group's F2F Book Discussions. :) (hide spoiler)]

Mechanics: (Original thread)

1) Anybody can initiate this.
2) Two or more members to read a book at the same time. They set the rules (how many pages per day, etc)
3) One of them to open a thread at least 3 days prior to the start of reading. This is for others who might be interested can join.
4) They use their thread to discuss the book.

Hi Leirah. I have an ebook of this. Unfortunately, my June reading list is already full I don't think I can squeeze in another buddy read for this month. But if you want to wait until July, maybe I can join you. ;)

I was just about to post something like this too. Haha! I have actually unearthed my copy already but after seeing the volume, naintimidate na naman ako. If we decide to go on this month, I'm okay though a bit hesitant. If we push it later, I'll be more than okay. Haha! :D
