Jennifer (ivashkovlover) | 3376 comments Mila 2.0 by Debra Driza

Mila 2.0 is the first book in an electrifying sci-fi thriller series about a teenage girl who discovers that she is an experiment in artificial intelligence.

Mila was never meant to learn the truth about her identity. She was a girl living with her mother in a small Minnesota town. She was supposed to forget her past—that she was built in a secret computer science lab and programmed to do things real people would never do.

Now she has no choice but to run—from the dangerous operatives who want her terminated because she knows too much and from a mysterious group that wants to capture her alive and unlock her advanced technology. However, what Mila’s becoming is beyond anyone’s imagination, including her own, and it just might save her life.

Mila 2.0 is Debra Driza’s bold debut and the first book in a Bourne Identity-style trilogy that combines heart-pounding action with a riveting exploration of what it really means to be human. Fans of I Am Number Four will love Mila for who she is and what she longs to be—and a cliffhanger ending will leave them breathlessly awaiting the sequel.

Irene (irenemikhaylova) | 17 comments I read this book last month and it was quite interesting. I'm just curious what's going to become of Mila in more distant future, if she doesn't grow old and doesn't regenerate? How will it work out between her and both boys?

Lisa | 5 comments I also read this last month, but I was a little up in the air about it. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Jen (jenwesner) I just started this; unimpressed so far, but hey - I just finished Clockwork Princess, so anything that follows that is doomed. I will make a concerted effort to give it a chance.

Tracey (addicted_to_reading) i was surprised that i liked this book as much as i did. the action scenes made the book. and i'm looking forward to seeing the romance between Mila and Hunter develop. i liked his character even though i only got a brief glimpse of him in this book.

Catie (fangirl247) | 1 comments this book is so good I felt bad for hunter and I really felt bad for mila and her mom how mila has to pass all 3 test and how they were going to exterminate her

Irena BookDustMagic | 54 comments God, how I didn't like this book. at first it started ok but then it got too much robotic for me. i just could't connect with the story. i finished it just because i'm that type of person who has to read everything to the end. i caught myself daydreaming couple of time while reading it. it just didn't work for me.

but i think there will be lots of people who will like it. it's something new in the sea of ya books and some people will find it refreshing. i'm not one of them though.
