Melaina walked into the common room, tired from the big day she had. She sat down in one squishy arm chair beside the fire and she pulled out a new book that she got at the library.

Rachel walked in and exclaimed,"Your Hufflepuff too!? I am so excited wizards are so cool!"She spun happily.
Melaina jumped and looked up at Rachel. She forced herself to smile when truly she wanted to start reading. "Yeah..." She said awkwardly.
"Well, you don't look too happy!"Rachel exclaimed. "So, how old are you? I'm 12, almost thirteen. I used to go to." She was stopped short by Melania's glum face. Crestfallen, she walked back to bed
