I read a historical romance several years ago and I let someone borrow the book and they moved away and took my book them. Now several years later I can no longer remember the title or the author, but I do remember some details. The book was written in probably late 70's early 80's and takes place in the frontier during the construction of the Transcontinental Railroad. The book ends at Promontory Point. The main character is a woman who leaves the home of a relative to live and work at the Hotel Restaurant that moves along the track as construction continues. She eventually leaves to get married to a former railroad employee and they move out west. She becomes pregnant and soon before she is due to deliver they are attacked and her husband is killed, she is discovered by a young Native American girl discovers her and helps her deliver her baby. They eventually make their way back to the end of the track where she meets a buffalo hunter and I believe they get married. If anyone has any information or can point me in the right direction for finding this book I would be most appreciative! Thank you so much!!

Why don't you submit your request to All Romance eBooks? They have a weekly newsletter with a section called "Anyone? Anyone?" that answers requests just like yours. I find a lot of interesting books that way.
