The Picture Book Group discussion

Here is a fun book about having a pet whale. This story gives children some insight on what might or might not make a great pet, and apparently having a large whale as a pet can be a big problem. Mac Barnett makes the story both fun and a chance to learn a bit about whales. Adam Rex's illustrations help us realize the enormity of the problem.
