Book Haven discussion

Paula and I have been working on putting this together, since there aren't any RPGs in this group. The only rules so far (besides the group ones, of course) would be:

Paula is the Game Master. She has an impartial way to decide whether actions succeed or fail, and will be presenting the different scenarios in the game.

Please post the name of your character at the beginning of each post, so that new players will know who you are. You can also post the entire character description.

When the rain falls, you can only hear it far above as it patters on leaves. Only sometimes does it fall all the way to the ground. All around you is a green gloom populated with bright flowers, creeping vines, and animals that have strange calls.

Deep in this jungle, there is a village. This village is a haven, where people and intelligent creatures can gather in safety. What are you? Vampire, werewolf, shape-shifter, mage, witch, healer, wizard? Or maybe something else, from far away, seeking haven from persecution.

This is just a basic form; I know some people like to use the same characters for numerous RPGs, so this is more of a guideline. There aren't many rules, but please try to be realistic. Every character is going to have flaws and weaknesses. You don't have to include them all in the form, but please keep that in mind when filling it out and playing. :)

Yup, I'll be the FATE in the game since life is not that easy, but don't worry, I'll try to be fair :) When there'll be enough people, we'll start the game, so I'll let you know how the situation looks like and what problems appeared.
