Heey! So glad there's a new topic for chat. I felt like I couldn't participate. It engulfed about half of the discussions topics.
Less than 24 days left until the end of school! Yippee!

Yeah, so does Maryland. It ends on the 7th of June. At my old school it ended on May 25th. I so wish I was there.
I know this is not the place to do this but I need to get this out My dad is in the hospital he stopped breathing yesterday afternoon. He is in the ICU. They think he has pnemonia(sp) he was not breathing on his own and he was heavily sedated. He is lightly sedated this morning he is on 3 antibiotics. They are trying to seen him off the O2
I am sorry I put this here feel free to delete it
You never know what will end up happening. Maybe he'll be okay. Doctors aren't God, but they're pretty good at what they do.
We are praying he make it through this but his immune system is so weak He has been fighting melothlanomea( sp) he got cancer from when he was in the navy

It's okay! It is good for you to just get things out, particularly when you are under stress. I'm really sorry about you dad though, and like Jessica said, you don't really know what will happen so just hang in there :)
Irene: Hey! Glad to see ya!
Trisha: It's an unfortunate experience to go through. I'm deeply sorry for you and will oontinue to be concerned about your father's behalf. Our expertise mods have already wished you the greatest, and along with mine, I hope the many who know will reach their prayers to God for him.

Yes. How is your dad Trisha?
Morning everyone, I wondered where everyone had gone!
Sharon wrote: "Morning all"Morning, I have to disappear and think about making a start on the kitchen and lunch or his nibs will sulk!
Just a quickie, are you going to do anything for the anthology (deadline scrapped as more are coming in)
Sharon wrote: "Well hello there."I was beginning to think you'd all been abducted by Aliens or something. I will be around later maybe, I have cupboard doors to fix after lunch and a birthday cake to bake. A chest of drawers I think, a black forest gateaux disguised as a chest of drawers actually! Lol if it turns out okay I will take a photograph!
Sharon wrote: "Just a quickie, are you going to do anything for the anthology (deadline scrapped as more are coming in)"I will take a look at the story I sent you and see if it can be adapted maybe, I'll let you know next week when his nibs is back at work and I have me time again!
Sharon wrote: "Ok cool."I just slipped upstairs for a little while, spagh bol sauce is simmering nicely for lunch in half an hour. Keep his nibs sweet, I have literally run round the kitchen washed up, tidied up and cooked lunch all in an hour and a bit. I went to put the washing out and his nibs has a bonfire, which is blowing in the direction of the whirlygig. I arrive upstairs to find his tile cutter in the bathroom with dust everywhere all over the landing too. I cleaned up twice already because of him upstairs this week! I don't have esclave printed on my forehead!
Perhaps he thinks you do! LOLThe weather is bit hit and miss today. At the moment it is blue skies withquite a breezy breeze, but rain could come any moment!

It's the same here, at the moment it's gone grey, so perhaps its as well I didn't put the washing out. But now he's covered the bathroom in tile dust again I can't put it on the airer either! Men!
I saw my dad yesterday evening he was awake, but he was frustrated that we could not understand him since he still has the breathing tube in and can't talk
