Gifted discussion

Carly walked in, texting on her phone. She sat down at one of the desks.

Carly put her phone away and looked up. There was a girl sitting next to her. "Hi." She said.

"This class is so boring." Carly mutters under her breath.

Carly checks her phone under her desk again. She starts playing angry birds.

Carly gets stuck on a level and puts her phone away. She quickly checks to make sure nobody's looking at her and she starts freezing then melting the water in her water bottle.

Carly looks over at her, surprised. She had thought no one was watching. "Yeah. Are you?"

((I know...))

"I'm not sure. Probably. I mean, a class of two people?"

"There's like, a special class or something. I think."

"Really? Wow."

"Your voice is really cool. I've never heard anybody sound like that before." Carly comments.

Aria walked quietly into English ducking her head down, shyly. She took a seat next to two girls who were talking.

"What's your gift? I mean, you've seen mine."

Aria faintly realized that they were in her gifted class. She had a major headache. The whole class was swarming with thoughts.... One girl was thinking about this guy she thought was hot. It was getting extremely irritating.

"I'm fine," She smiled slipping into her polite and nice self. "Thanks for asking though."

"Hey, you're... Zayna, right?" Aria asked. She was in the gifted class as well.

"Yeah," She smiled. "We've never really talked before, have we?"

"Wow. You make my gift sound like a party trick. Do you like music then?"

"I love music too."

"I'm not sure... Why?"

Aria smiled back, shyly, "Yeah. Where is the teacher?"

"The teachers here are all kind of lazy, don't you think? Well, accept for Ms. Williams." Amaria said to Zayna.

"When does Gifted start?" Aria asked looking at her watch. "I still haven't memorized my schedule."

"Okay." She smiled, taking out her English stuff. "But seriously... Where is Mr. Sherman?"

Aria sighed, and followed Zayna to Gifted class.
