I had this book called "How cats paint" & there's a whole subculture of people that have "Artistic cats" Some where far fetched but this one cat painted still life's & it was crazy how on point they were, it's defiantly worth a look through:)
Well, I'm biased (see my idea for the ultimate dog book BELOW), but on a factual level, I love Dogs at War- Blythe Hamer ISBN 13-978-0-233-00194-4. Novel? Plague Dogs by Richard Adams. MY book's called 'the Dog Hunters' (no, it's not about hunting dogs- verb):

I am currently reading Dewey The small -Town Library Cat Who Touched The World by Vicki Myron. You might what to check it out if you are looking for a story about a rescue cat.
