Your choice. You cannot donate blood in certain states if you have a tattoo....
Agreed. Imagine being 90 and having all this saggy skin with tattoos on them which aren't really decipherable due to the skin? What about stretch marks and stuff? Ugh *shivers* and for what?? I don't mind if other have them, but personally I don't want one.
Yeah. That's what I think of whenever I see these 'macho' men with tattoos EVERYWHERE and I think: ha. Imagine what you'll look like in 50 years. Whereas me? Ill be fine!!!
It's kinda like piercings. It's your own choice. I have my lip pierced, and my ears, but I'd never get a tattoo.
People think it's cool and Men think they can look like an ALPHA-MALE if they get this tatoo all over their body. I don't disagree with this BUT i would NEVER(or maybe....you can't never tell what comes and goes to my CRAZY mind) get a tatoo.
If I were to get one, it would be somewhere like my ankle or the back of my neck where the skin wouldn't stretch and I could easily hide, but I don't plan on it. The problem I have with it is not that it's 'marring' your skin or destroying your body because it's 'perfect the way god made it' and let me tell you I know that there are plenty of people like that, but for me it's just the idea of causing yourself harm and it being permanent. Sure, I like it today, but what about next week when I have a formal event? That kind of thing. At least with a piercing you can take it out...
I know someone who got the name of her and her hubby tattooed on her foot, then they god divorced. What then...?

I'm okay with them. People can do whatever they want with their bodies; I'm not going to be the boss of that. I just wish some people didn't associate tattos with crimes or gangs or the like.

Smart.

Good for you. What kind do you plan on getting? (Hope I'm not prying)

haven't decided yet... It's gonna be on my wrist i think, but I'm still thinking on the actual design.

Now answering question -
The people who get tattoos done - I see them as gutsy ( I can't even think of myself ever having a tattoo) :D
Second - Are they harming anyone or doing wrong to anyone? No. Hence no criticism should be done for them. Its their body.
But as I said, obsession is not good.
People might argue that we should accept the body as given by God and not filthy it with tattoos and all.
Then I would say, We are born naked, then should we walk naked on streets?
Also, we wear jewellery and decorating overselves with things not given by God.
Hence, th argument of filthy-ing body is not appropriate I guess.
Hence, no harm in tattoos, but obession is not good for anything.
