Hello people, I need a little help with my book. The setting is a world where humans and demons coexist; some places are more hostile, than others. The main character is a demon hunter in training, going through rite of passage. I am trying to choose between two different scenarios. In the first, he is place in an arena to fight to the death with a massive demon. In the second, he is quest to bring his father the head of a missive demon from the demon’s village.

I don't know, but that seems like a really good starting idea for a story :)

I'd say hunt. It gives more freedom in what could happen along the way.
