Sabah and Ross were sitting with one another, their friends smirking at them as they chatted with each other.

Jane Blackwell strolled through the hallway, uncaring that the morning bell was about to ring for physics class. Who needed physics anyway? - when her music career got off the ground, she could hire some nerd to take care of physics for her. Plus, she'd already flunked it once. This year proved to be the same lectures as the last one, so she didn't figure she was missing anything. She saw Josie, who had the locker beside her, staring down at a note in her hands, and snatched it from her...
"What's this? Casper leave a love note for you?" she said in a snarky tone.
Sophie walked up to Josie. "Hey, you okay?" She looked down and saw the note. "Oh gosh, honey. I'm so sorry"
"Okay, just let me know if you need any help," she said as she hugged her friend
Jane ignored Josie, and frowned slightly at the note, disappointed it really wasn't a love letter. She crumpled it up and threw it down the hallway behind her."Like anyone would write a weirdo like you a love letter..."
Jane tried to hide her smile as she saw Sophie approach, "Morning, Deason."
"G'morning, Blackwell" she said to Jane
Jane stuck her tongue out at Josie, playfully, then with one solid motion swept the long shaggy bangs from her eyes, "Don't be jealous..." She sidestepped the girl to get in between her and Sophie, and pinned Sophie against the locker, "but I bet Deason here gets plenty of them. Don't you, Deason?"
She ran one long index finger down a strand of Sophie's hair.
Jane swatted Josie away, and then leaned in closer, sliding her body against Sophie ever so slightly, whispering sinisterly in Sophie's ear, "Aww, don't be so modest, Deason."
The school bell rings, and teachers are coming to their classroom doors to shut them. Jane steps away from Sophie, but not before giving her and her friend Josie a solid push into the locker."I guess I'll grace physics with my presence... see you twerps later."
She walks away empty-handed.
Sophie hugs Josie back. "Yeah. Are you?"
"Okay, we'll I'm fine." She turns to watch Jane walk away. "What is her deal anyway?"
"Thank you, I guess we should try to ignore her if we can"
As Jane leisurely walks towards physics class, she gets stopped and scolded by the vice-principal... again. But she ignores him, lingering dreamily back on how close she had been to Sophie and the way the girl squirmed beneath her gaze. He 'escorts' her to her first period class where she's written up for tardiness... again. Jane doesn't care. She takes her seat in the back and rests her head on her dream, still replaying the seconds in her mind. The students around her aren't even whispering about how much trouble she's in anymore; too common an occurrance, she guessed. She'd have to do something later to get them riled up again, but not today. Not Monday. Jane hated Mondays...
She made a mental note to leave Josie another note for calling her 'Jane' that morning. Two in the period of a day was sure to get something going in this boring godforsaken town.
"Yeah, why do we have to so this very single day?" she sighed.
"Yeah, probably." says Sophie as they walk toward the locker rooms.
"Come on Josie, just try to ignore them." Sophie said to her best friend
Ugh, those jerks, Sophie thought as she changed. Don't they have anything better to do?
Jane had better things to be doing than sitting in physics... again. She was eagerly awaiting second period choir where she would run into Josie and Sophie. Sophie always looked so sexy glistening with sweat and the school showers; it was a shame her wardrobe sucked... nothing to show off her body. At least Josie never disappointed her. Jane laughed to herself, if Josie would stop talking to herself she might have been a decent catch.
Sophie got back up as she glared at the other girls and extended a hand to help Josie up.
"I never thought I would say this, but thank god for the coach." she said to Josie
Jane attempted to excuse herself to the bathroom, but the physics teacher isn't a fool. Jane's tried this routine a number of times- ask to go to the bathroom and never come back to class. Jane sits in her desk and sulks while the classmates around her laugh.
"Yeah, same here" Sophie nods knowingly.
"Of course! Can you?" says Sophie as she shoots off.
"You wanna try to beat this?" asks Sophie as she lands a front handspring and goes back to running.
"I'm not gonna try to beat that one right now, we'd better focus on running so Coach doesn't get mad."
( Aw, I was enjoying it. You guys are so cute :P )The bell rings --
"Finally," Jane groaned...
The students don't even wait for their teacher to give the word. They picked up their supplies and chatters amongst one another. Jane overheard that Nikki, one of the 'in-crowd,' had planted the note in Josie's locker. Inwardly, she applauded her... but nobody messed with her twerps.
Jane eagerly raced to choir class to score a seat next to the two.
"Hopefully Mr. Bogner is teaching today," said Sophie as she and Josie walked to choir.
Jane was a little disappointed when she saw that Josie and Sophie were already there. The only spot available was next to Josie who looked like she was shooting daggers the second Jane walked through the door."Scoot over," she told Josie, trying to squeeze between her and Sophie. She shot Sophie a smile, "Hey Deason, did you miss me?"
"Of course I did," Sophie sad sarcastically.
"Don't touch me, freak," Jane spat at Josie, "I already owe you one for calling me 'Jane' this morning."
Sophie shoves Jane. "NEVER mess with my friends"
"It's a stupid name. Nobody calls me that."Jane stumbled a little, but lands on her feet. She smiles, "Heh, I knew you wanted to touch me."
Jane hops back up onto the bleachers and squeezes in between Josie and Sophie. She gives Josie's butt a spiteful pinch, and throws her free arm protectively around Sophie's waist, pulling her close.
Jane made no reply but laughed loudly.Bogner scolded, "Blackwell, Pickard, one more word out of either of you and it's straight to the office!"
Jane whispers to Josie, wrapping her arm firmly around Josie's waist, "I'm surprised you're here today, wimp. Didn't you spend the day in the nurse's office last time you did the mile run?"
( Lunch break! Be back in an hour. )Jane pulled her lip into a pout, "Aww, I'm hurt. We're friends, aren't we, twerp?" - she may have teased and bullied Josie and Sophie, but truthfully they were the only people who treated her the same way after she came out, and Jane was thankful for that.
"Why would we be friends with you? You bully us constantly" Sophie says to Jane
( Back. )The comments hurt more than Jane lets on. She has no answers; she just smiles and laughs. The same way she reacts to every obstacle and problem she faces. Sometimes, it's the only way she can get through the day. Even if it's an illusion, she clutches the two of them like dearest friends.
It's time to sing.
