What did you think of this book over all? Will you be continuing on with the series? What did you like/dislike about it?

Emily | 27 comments I will continue to read the next book. I'm curious to see other avenues of this Banshee/reaper/Netherworld world.

I was so surprised about aunt Val, I think if it wasn't for that twist at the end I may not have considered giving book two a go. But I think Tod may have swayed me in the end ;)

Tanja (Tanychy) I'll continue reading it just because I'm curious, but I had some issues about this book. First is Kaylee. She has a lot of potential but she was annoying at some points. Another is this whole thing with reapers talking souls freely. I'm not buying it.

Helene (helene23) | 14 comments I did not see the ending coming! Never thought aunt Vaul would be behind the deaths. I loved the first book and will definitely be reading book 2!

Iona (ionaenglish) I didn't see the twist with Kaylee's aunt coming at all. I was really surprised but I think it was a really good twist as well. I like how the author took all these paranormal elements and then in the end put the whole problem down to a very human flaw in a very human character. It was a great way to bring everything back down to earth

Jennifer | 6 comments I will definitely continue reading. I have Soul Screamers Volume 1 and 2. So I will definitely be reading the first 4 books.

I also did not see the twist with Kaylee's aunt coming at all. And I did not see the Tod/Nash thing coming at all.

Right now I definitely prefer Nash.

It was an interesting first book. I especially liked it from the Memorial on. The stuff with Emma was very interesting. And the end with Aunt Val, Kaylee's dad, Kaylee's dad's secret, and the Tod/Nash revelation.

I love it when books have such interesting endings. Makes me definitely want to see where the series goes from here.
