Vanessa What are some of your favorite books with love triangles? I personally love love triangles because I feel like they have more angst. Someone really steps up to prove their love and I could really feel the pain and devotion when Kellan would ask Kiera to pick him. I would never condone cheating in real life of course but I like to read about it.

Jonida Fantasy I really enjoyed Shadow Falls, Angel Fire/ Angel Burn , Infernal Devices , Fallen, Shatter Me series, Hex Hall, Unearthly.

Modern Fiction Avoiding Commitment, Brenna Blixen series,

I can't really get into the fantasy paranormal categories for some reason. But I do love avoiding commitment! Such a good book. I can't wait to start double clutch either!

Vanessa Phrem wrote: "Try Molly McAdams's books esp. Taking Chances"

Read it and loved it. Even with the huge catastrophe that happened that everyone hated!

Ha - yes not everyone loves fantasy - with a 14 year old, I have gotten more into it so we can have something else in common to talk about :)
I will have to try Taking Chances, haven't read that yet.

Prim @Vanessa: True! I even considered it as 'traumatizing'. Lol. Pshh.

@Jonida: brace yourself, then. :)

Ariel Baird That Boy by Jillian Dodd, Covet by Tracey Garvis-Graves ... I agree with you. The triangle in Thoughtless left me anxious and I almost felt like I was cheating, it was such a good emotional read. People that hate reading about love triangles and cheating are forgetting about the fact that books are good when they make you FEEL. I don't condone cheating, but the choices people make and how it effects lives is what makes a good story. Okay, soapbox done :)

I have that boy sample downloaded but I tried to read stalk me by the same author and was bored out of my mind. It was so juvenile I just couldn't get past a few chapters. Is this the same?

And I agree so much to what you said. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time wondering who she was going to choose and it made me feel so many emotions. And just because a book mentions cheating doesn't mean it's right. After all, it's just a book!!

I agree with @phrem, brace yourself with taking chances. It pissed me off SOOOOOO bad. But it was a great book. A lot of people refuse to read her other books because of this book.

Hmmm now I really want to read it :)
Does it end badly, because I think I filled my quota of badly ending books this month.

Doesn't END bad. Ends good but something happens in the middle that is bad and pissed everyone off.

Ok that I can do :)

Me too! I didn't mind the catastrophe. Don't get me wrong, I cried but I think Molly did a great job with the triangle. It ended perfectly to me. Great story!

Cynthia If you want a story with hot musicians and a love triangle, you HAVE to read How To Kill a Rockstar. It's amazing. The writing is incredible and the heroine doesn't make me want to gouge my eyes out with a fork. It's Thoughtless but 10x better in every aspect.

Actually, that book really made me so upset. I really liked the story but not after the 'catastrophe'. Lol. But it was really a good read :)

Anyway, you guys should try
Double Time (Sinners on Tour, #5) by Olivia Cunning
Its a bit too much for a 'smut' though. Lol.

YES I agree..I love a good love triangle! They have the best angst and evoke so much emotion. I have been on a forever hunt for love triangles like Thoughtless. Have you read Collide (Collide, #1) by Gail McHugh ? Loved this book..it ends in a bit of a cliffhanger (but not too bad). Waiting on the second book Pulse to come out...

Stacey Another great love triangle I loved... Accidentally on Purpose by L.D. Davis

Kellie Torn and Twisted by K.A. Robinson. Avoiding Commitment and Avoiding Responsibility by K.A. Linde.

Does it have to be read in order? I've read backstage pass but haven't gotten to the others yet.

I think this is one of my favorite books I have ever read. I just hate how long it's taking for pulse to come out!!!

Thanks! Will add torn now. Loved the avoiding series :)

message 25: by Tara (new) - rated it 4 stars

Tara Loved the Avoiding series! I can recommend Come Undone by Jessica Hawkins - But, it did end on a huge cliff hanger & I don't know when the next is out :(

message 26: by Prim (new) - rated it 5 stars

Prim @Vanessa its actually not that necessary to read it in order 'cause the series focused on each band members' story. :)

I was also about to recommend the Avoiding Series! That series was one helluva rollercoaster ride!

Michelle Lynn I'm not trying to boast my own book but it does involve a love triangle with two brothers. Love Me Back

There is Jennifer Foor's Mitchel Series Letting Go. Also, All the Wrong Reasons by JL Paul. Sorry one more, Between the Lines by Tammara Webber.

Cynthia Vanessa wrote: "Cynthia wrote: "If you want a story with hot musicians and a love triangle, you HAVE to read How To Kill a Rockstar. It's amazing. The writing is incredible and the heroine doesn't make me want to ..."

Yes you definitely should. I usually don't like love triangles but this one was done so well. One of my all time favourites!

Vanessa @tara on my to read list, thanks!!

@phrem ok thanks!

@michelle that looks good!!!! Just bought it. Love 99 cent books :) I did read the first to the letting to series and the writing was so bad. I have the second one on loan I am going to read but it wasn't a favorite.

S.K. Munt I keep accidentally writing Love triangle books :) I just love the conflict- I like using them when one relationship would take the heroine in one direction and the other, another. It's a way I use my characters to find themselves.

People who love Love-triangles rate these really high and people who don't say that they're surprised they like it ;)

These aren't YA though- the few erotic scenes I write a hardcore erotic, just as a warning :)

This is my Fairytail saga series book 1- all 3 of the first are out and the 4th is out at the start of May

The Marked Ones (The Fairytale Saga, #1) by S.K. Munt
