"Here we are" sitting on a yoga mat she looked at him "So you were going to kiss me" not bothering to hide the amusement in her voice. "What did you wanna talk about?"

He sat beside her, Indian style and smiled at her, "I was going to kiss you but you burped so I was turned off by it." He looked around the training room with curiosity but he turned to Vee and answered her, "Nothing really. I just want to be with you because you always surprise me with your response and I like it."

"Oh please, I don't burp! You probably were too scared" she chuckled. "Or your noble side didn't like you kissing a drunk girl" How can she not remember any of this! This was the last time she drank that much.

He scoffed at what she said, "You were probably right but the next time that I want to kiss you..." he whispered as he leaned closer until their face were centimeters away from each other. "Now it's your turn to make a move," he whispered in her ear and he nuzzled her neck a little as he did so.

Vee felt a shiver down her spine, she basically stopped breathing for a second, memories of last night flooding into her head. She let her hand trace his back "You still not regret having me in your arms" she purred not leaning back.

He shivered at the light touch of her hand on his back, "I will never regret it," he whispered as he was about to kiss her when he snapped out of it. "What am I doing?" he asked out loud. He pushed himself off of her and watched her in an uninterested glance. "This is a test that you and Hunter made, isn't it? To test if the second in command would crack?"

Vee stood up suddenly "Fuck you" she said calmly and started towards the door "I'll report to Hunter you passed" she said with her back to him.

He asked her in a placid tone, "Where are you going? You run away because I caught you in the act? How weak of you." He stood up and he didn't think about the night they shared since all of it was just a ploy to test him if he was really second-in-command material.

"This isn't me ruining away,you've got issues my friend" she turned and walked up to him "This wasn't any freaking test you stupid git" Her voice getting higher now "WAS IT ME WHO WAS TRYING TO DAMN KISS YOU LAST NIGHT?" letting her steam out in full force she turned cold. "This never happened. We will not discuss it, talk about it or even think about it. You're the second in command and this. is. it"

He looked at her with no emotion but inside he wants to tell that he was being like this because he is afraid of being close to anyone but instead his said, "I'm sorry if I hadn't kissed you, playgirl. Of course we would never talked about this because I found out that you were just another girl who wants to jump in the sack with the next in command." He said all of this with a patient voice like talking ti a toddler and he hurt inside because she didn't denied it.

Play girl? He was calling her palaygirl? "You're right, I just wanted to get in your pants and brag that I seduced the second. But you know what's better than a second? The Leader, yeah. Much more to brag about" She turned and stormed towards the door. She never felt the need to defend herself and this wasn't any different. He had already made up his mind about her. The exact image she purposely portrays, she should be glad. But she wasn't, she was hurt somehow.

His heart broke into pieces as he said that Hunter was better than him. The next time he will see Vee, he's going to ask her 'Out of ten, what was Hunter like in bed?' or 'You gonna sleep with the recruits too?'. He shifted his stance until he was sitting the mat she just vacated, he let a tear fall because that was the only sadness he could show even though he was alone. Whatever Vee will do, he didn't care but whoever screws with her gets a taste of how evil he can be.

Derrick changed into his blue shorts and tight blue sleeveless shirt and began jogging on the treadmill.
He knew he could'nt see River for a while, so he thought he could clear his head by working out.

River checked at the front desk if Derrick was there, and when they said he was, she thanked them and decided to try to the work out room first to look for him.

Derrick was working on his bench press, and was completely oblivious to anyone walking in.

Glancing around, River spotted him. Taking a deep breath, she walked up to him, clutching her wrists in front of her. "Derrick," She said.

Derrick was startled and almost dropped the bar on his chest, but he caught it before it hit him. He makes a small glance around and finds River standing by him, "River? Hey, what are you doing here?" He said looking at her. Don't get him wrong, he was glad to see her but he wasn't expecting her to come to him.

River was quiet for a minute before answering. "Um, I thought I'd just come see how...you were." She shifted feet, looking down.

Derrick was quiet as well, he places the bar back and sits up. "oh... I've been... alright. he says looking up at her. The truth was he wasn't doing fine, he really thought he lost her.

She nodded.. "Oh...good... um... listen, about the other day..." She trailed off, slightly embarrassed.

"Stop... Before you apologize, you don't have to. That was all me. You did nothing wrong. It was my fault. I shouldn't have done that. I'm the one who should apologize. River I am deeply sorry for my actions." he says looking at her

She looked into his eyes, then stepped forward and threw her arms around his neck, hugging him. "I forgive you." She whispered. " And Derrick, I swear there's nothing going one between me and Raf. There's just something...different about him, I can't explain it. I'm not even sure if it's a good thing." Her tone was riddled with worry.

((this isn't really going to happen but i thought it would go great with this situation so, no need to worry.))

Derrick wanted to hug her back, but instead he gently pushed her off. "River I love you, don't get me wrong, but all I have ever done was hurt you, and I don't ever want to hurt you again. I'm sorry, but it's better this way." he says looking into her eyes as he backs up.

River's heart sunk as he moved away. "Derrick...no, please- we can make this work!" Her voice went up an octave; she couldn't believe what he was saying.
(She won't storm out- Gosh you make her sound like such a drama queen :D lol)

Derrick continues to back up, "I'm sorry Riv, But I love you too much to hurt you again." he says with tears forming in his eyes.

A stab of anger shot through her, and she opened the link between their minds that had been closed for three days. Her own, desperate thoughts bombarded his mind.
Please don't leave Derrick!

Derrick brought up the walls in his mind, More tears formed in his eyes as he looked away and started to walk the other direction.

((He's almost there lol, just a bit more lol, im sorry but this seemed like a good scene in this RP i couldn't help myself lol))

A sob escaped River's chest and she pushed against the barriers of his mind. "Stop!" She choked. "Derrick please. Even if you did leave, I would always be there in your head. I'd always hear you and you would always here me. And if you..."She swallowed, knowing that what she was about to say would turn him around. "And if you die, I will too. There won't be anyway to stop it."

Derrick immediately spun around and looked back at River. "What!?!" Derrick felt his hear sink which almost brought him to his knees. "What are you talking about?" He asked frantically, was what she said true, was she talking about suicide or because their mind link? He didn't know and his blood felt like it turned to ice.

"I told you when I cast that spell that it had...side effects. No matter if the walls are up and no matter how strong, if you go, whatever kills you will get me too." She bit her lip. When she'd preformed the spell that had saved both their lives, she knew full well it was irreversible and could cost her her life in many ways.

"Why the hell didn't you tell me that? If i would have known it would kill you too, I would have never let you cast that spell." he says getting slightly angry, but instead of showing his anger he started to cry.

River carefully touched his arm, her own tears falling. "Exactly. That's why I didn't tell you. But there's nothing I can do now...not really. But what you want to do now is your choice."

Derrick suddenly grabbed her and hugged her tightly as tears were falling down. "Why Riv? Why would you do that?" he asks while hugging her.

She let him hold her tightly, burying her face in his chest. "Because I love you. I've looked for you my entire life, you're the only...'normal' I've ever had. Your my constant angel, and I can't bear to lose you."

As Derrick continued to hold her, Derrick begins to laugh. He starts laughing harder until he says, "We are one dysfunctional couple, you know that?" He says before laughing again.

River snorted, kissing him on the cheek. "Yeah, we are." She pulled back, "Wanna get outta here?"

"I suppose I could leave for a little while" he says with a smile. "Where do you wanna go?" He asks her

She shrugged. "I don't know... but I do know, you still owe me date." She grinned.

Derrick smiles back, "We can go anywhere you want, as long as I can't get near alcohol" he says looking at her

River nodded "I agree. There's a new restaurant in town, we could go there." She suggested.

"Lead the way." He said with a smile
