As I keep telling my 7 year old grandaughter, Cerys, I'm not ill, but just need a new hip....and soon, please. It took a lot of convincing my GP to send me for an X-ray, as he kept saying I was too young, at 63, to need one, but the Xray showed nasty stuff happening to my right hip. Probable dates for the operation range from June 10th - 17th - can't come quickly enough!!
